RIP Dwayne Haskins.
🙏🏽🙏🏽
yea, really. rip to him man🙏
I’m dissapointed we used a first on him but I’d never wish death on someone. So sad for him to pass so soon
Rip seemed like a cool dude but if we being honest he was on his out the league just gon put it how it is
Miss him bro 🙏🏻🙏🏻
The fact that most of the best players from this draft weren’t even 1st rounders is crazy. AJ Brown, Deebo, D.K. Metcalf, Terry Mclaurin, Maxx Crosby just to name a few
Looking at that list of pro bowl receivers makes New England's decision to draft N'Keal Harry look even worse.
Metcalf falling was always such a weird one like it's not even with hindsight - at the time it really felt like a lot of teams made a mistake passing on him
This was Bills ultimate mistake listening to his old college buddy instead of his scouts which ultimately led to Brady leaving in 2020
As a pats fan ik about Hollywood and dk (and the reason he dropped) and Aj and deebo.
Why didn’t the pats draft any of those over Harry?
All were better prospects!
@@adamdickinson2894. I think people forget that DK struggled out of breaks and had suspect route running. He was fast and athletic as hell, but he wasn’t a super polished receiver, and he had a neck injury as well.
2019 was a weird class with talent loaded in the later rounds.
Happy Easter! He is Risen! God bless! Jesus Christ is King and saves and is the way! Psalms 62✝🤍💪 Jeremiah 29:11✝🤍💪
Seriously, so many linemen were drafted in this 1st round too.
Thank you for skipping over Dwayne Haskins. I’m a Washington fan, and while it’s no secret that he was a miss for us, he was still young and had potential and I was rooting for him in Pittsburgh. It’s unfortunate what happened to him
Exactly... Some people just mature a little later.
Yeah he was a certified bust
@doubleu8908 the sentiment maybe true but sometimes its better to let dead men rest.
Nice touch skipping over Haskins 🙏
Not really. He was a clear cut miss.
@@jonathonhanson7278he also died so yeah, well not worry about his football career.
@@evanthompson4186 what does that have to do with anything? He was a bust before he died
@@jonathonhanson7278 because if you have class, you just leave them off the list because who gives a fuck about their football career? That's why.
@@evanthompson4186 football was a huge part of his life. He did.
The best way to handle Haskins. Well done
yeah i was thinking before the video "oh man i hope they don't call Haskins a miss" lol
like this NFL Throwback channel, they do it right
@@mattcarberry368unlike Shefter NFL Throwback has class.
“The price is wrong, Billy!” 😂😂
Christian Wilkins is hilarious
You know it's draft season when NFL THrowback continues this series
Rest In Peace Dwayne Haskins 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I got really confused on why you skipped the 15 pick then I saw the end message and was like oh yeah probably not a good idea to rate Dwayne rip man.
Devin Bush tore his ACL in his 2nd season and has not been the same player since that injury. That's the main reason he's been a miss.
With the sixth pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select…Daniel Jones. Quarterback. Duke.
(cue endless UrinatingTree laughter and FivePoints despair)
😂
Ultimately it was a big mistake by the Giants. Daniel Jones sucks
The Daniel Jones pick will forever be a moment in UTree and FivePointsVids lore.
Even more so with Kadarius Toney
Queue "Derp Song" once tree laughed out of his mind
Has any team in the history of professional football done less for their young QB than the Giants with Daniel Jones?
Offensive line, playmakers at receiver, competent coaching - all things that could’ve helped
This defensive line class could be one of the best ever
I don’t know if I’d say that yet, but it’s certainly a very fruitful one at that position group
Not quite as top-heavy as 2011 but arguably a deeper class.
It's very good from the interior. Jerry Tillery is the only dud among the group. Quinnen Williams, Dexter Lawrence, and Jeffrey Simmons all made at least one Pro Bowl. While Wilkins and Oliver did not make a Pro Bowl, both are starting caliber DT. Wilkins in particular got a pretty good pay day to take his talents to Vegas, even though he was not a Pro Bowler.
For DE, both Ferrell and Collier were duds, Ferrell in particular was drafted way too high, though the Raiders did land a consolation prize in Maxx Crosby. Nick Bosa, Brian Burns, and Montez Sweat round off this class of DEs. (I did not include Josh Allen cause he was drafted as an outside linebacker, not a defensive end, but Allen is still pretty good.)
Much respect for NFL Throwback for that Dwayne Haskins tribute 🙏🏾
Kinda forgot Clemson had 3 DLine players go in the first round. What a monstrous team 2018 Clemson was
Didn’t really how loaded this first round was with defensive line talent, Bosa, Burns, Allen, Sweat, and Garry on the edge with Williams, Oliver, Simmons and Wilkins in the middle
You forgot Sexy Dexy. Lol
Kyler is a hit with the circumstance in AZ. Tough division, not a great organization, rookie of the year, playoff appearance. Massive contract.
As a giants fan this draft was like a roller coaster. Baffled when we took dj, excited when we took Dexter, and then baker was excitement at the time but almost immediately disappointed
Devin Bush really had potential after his rookie year and then well you know he became a bust.
supposed to be Ryan Shazier replacement.
I disagree, calling kyler meh is cazy he's been a top 8 qb multiple years in his career with kliff as his oc
kingsbury isn’t a bad coach😂
@@DisphairThis is type of nfl knowledge I expect from a yt comment section
He has less playoff wins than Jones. Absolutely meh.
He hasn’t justified his contract and hasn’t done much so meh is correct
@@E2J25 playoff wins are a team stat.
Damn I didn’t realize how much The Raiders screwed up they Ferrell pick. They left so many good pass rushers on the board 😂😂
Do they ever make a good pick 😂
@@Steelercards7Josh Jacobs was good for them
@jalengreen1301 yep I take it back lol but that's basically been the only good pick since then
@@Steelercards7 they literally drafted maxx crosby in the 4th round of this draft
@@saintsfan6386 yeah but since then...
Bill Belichick was smoking so premium hash for scouting N'keal over the 6 All-Pro WRs that went after him.
And most were more well known than Harry
Nah N’Keal was nice at ASU
@@RightousAdversary Yeah I won't pretend there wasn't a time when people saw this guy and went, at worst they will get a good 50/50 receiver. There was some hype on draft day. But this guy has been a ghost in the league.
DT class was nice asf
Miss the old sound design for this video ngl
also, is it the same guy, this guy sounds a little different. it's very noticeable for me. i want the other guy :(
2:17 I think they were saying "their Super Bowl in 2020 too" not "2022", just so we're all clear here.
That makes more sense. Definitely threw me
Kyler Murray will always have COD during the hard times 😂😂
I mean it's not his fault he plays for one of the most cursed teams in the league.
@LiamDeege that's true, but remember, in 2021, they started 7-0.
@@kevinuchiha6830 Yeah, but then they suffered a late season collapse that got summed up with them getting slaughtered by the Rams in the wildcard.
@@LiamDeege what goes around comes around. Cards will bounce back though
Bro, thank god Rebirth is back tmmr and not during the season. He wouldn’t get off the XBox
RIP Dwayne Haskins
Quinnin Williams is so good. He disrupts every play, he can sack the QB, and he is the best run stuffer in the league imo
This draft especially in the later rounds that players were taken in were very good.
Dexter lawrence is a future hall of famer and the best dt of the draft
And the best DT in the league. And I would have said that before the other guy retired.
Sleepin on Kyler crazy
Nobody belived in Jeff Simmons because of the torn acl. Now he's a 2x pro bowler and 2x all pro. Buddy is a mover of men to say the least.
I remember that pick and it got people confused but he’s been great
@@spidamitchell8311 so glad he's on our team.
That's not reason he fell.
@@TheCruzan26 Why did he fall then?
@@christiantomas608 The incident when he got caught beating a woman on tape followed him. Some teams were not going to touch him.
loving the off season content! :)
Love the quicker pace!
Same here. Watch the 2009 and 2014 videos. Way more of a slog.
RIP Dwayne Haskins 🙏
Devin Bush was a big mistake by Pittsburgh in the end.
Yeah Devin Bush ain't SHIT to us now he's so overrated irrelevant a waste of time a waste of a man and a absolute waste of a player too
@@ryaneugenelawrencewalls1987 traded up to draft him too. Suppose to be Ryan Shazier's replacement.
He couldn’t recover from that injury
somehow, a two-time pro bowl quarterback is a meh draft pick
This is my favorite series you guys do
just here to make sure rashan gary was respected
2:16 disagree Devin white is a great player
Devin first 3 years were phenomenal. He was our defensive captain and set the tempo for the bucs. I hope he finds his groove again in Philadelphia.
Rest in Peace Dwayne Haskins
this is a pretty good vid! can't wait for the 2020 hit, miss, meh
I was say kyler is not meh its actually good but can be better for sure
For a guy who cried for the contract and got paid like he’s elite he hasn’t shown it which is why he’s meh!
He’s gotta get results regardless of offense with that contract and he’s been meh after mid season many times
Classy editor .
Acting like Quinnen Williams was a double and not an absolute home run is comical. Dude is arguably the best DT in the league
You are brain dead if you think you could make the argument he was better than AD or Jones last year.
@@hamsandwich184my guy he was absolutely better than jones last year. I respect Jones as a player and he is in no doubt a big part of why Kansas city got their super bowls but Quinnen Williams was the best run blocker in the league last season (per pff) and was also overall rated better than Jones (also per pff). He may not have gotten as many sacks as Jones and this is in part because the Jets had pass rush specialists that would sack the quarterback before Quinnen could get to it. What’s more he saw the most double teams of any player in the league last year. And for Donald well he retired so technically not in the league anymore.
@@benjamingrimm124 no way you are basing that entirely on PFF.. lol Jones had a 20% PRWR over QW’s 15%. Jones also had 50 less snaps rushing the passer and a higher double team percentage. QW was also not even in the top 10 of Run Stops. You are just looking at PFF and thinking that that’s all you need to show QW is somehow better. Shit is embarrassing.
@@hamsandwich184 AD is retired and Quinnen and Jones are in the same tier, along with Dexter Lawrence. I think an argument can be made for any of the 3, which is why I said “arguably”.
Rashan Gary is a HIT he is special player when he got the call from the Packers in 1st Round he had the right to be real emotional cause it was his moment his dream to play in the NFL but he's still there I hope he'll be a Super Bowl Champion oneday keep it up Mr.Gary 5:05
I LOVE THIS SERIES!
I love the respect to the fallen player. RIP Haskins.
what a bunch of DAWGS in the trenches defensively. Quinnen Williams, Sexy Dexy, & Big Jeff. just mean trio of young dawgs.
Started off slow but improved
Murray a hit to
Could we get these for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks? I love these videos!
The amount of DL that are studs are amazing. You got Oliver Williams Simmons Lawrence just in the top 20 alone
Rest in peace Dwayne haskins I’m a Steelers fan
rest easy simba
Murray as a “meh” is absurd. Especially considering you gave Quinnen Williams a “hit”
I think this was the class that most scouts said there was only like 15 players with a true first round grade. I think that's why you seen so many mid-late round gems.
Some great defensive line talent this draft wow
Can’t wait for the NFL draft
So much talent in the draft and ofcourse the Raiders manage to miss on both of their 1st round picks
The Jags drafting Walker over Hutchinson in 2022 was like if the 9ers had taken Ferrell over Bosa at #2 in this 😂😂
Not even close. Walker isn't completely trash like Ferrell.
Nope
Walker had 10 sacks last year
I love these lists because it’s clear whoever puts these together looks at a box score and the player’s wikipedia page and spend 60 seconds writing a blurb for someone to narrate.
the amount of respect i gained when i noticed yall left out haskins man , salute
A lot of great pass rush was in this draft. 💪💪
Ed Oliver is a hit
John Allen for the Jags is a HIT cause he will do anything to be a real good player 3:03
He’s so versatile. He feels like Khalil Mack in Vegas.
Pls do more of these
I hated the N'Keal Harry pick months before it happened and all the way through.
Same
I wanted Aj or Dk
Devin Bush was one of the biggest busts in Steelers history. For someone with his pedigree, he didn't even seem to enjoy football anymore after his rookie year, and it showed with his performance.
Absolutely BIZARRE to say the Raiders were hoping Ferrell could be the bookend to Maxx Crosby when Crosby hadn't even been drafted at that point!
Even more, the Raiders (or anybody) had NO IDEA Maxx would turn out to be as good as he is. He's an absolute stud, but he went in the 4th round for a reason. At that point, you're just hoping for a hit on your pick. Fortunately for the Raiders, Crosby was one.
I’d like to see the 10-year draft recaps as well
Didn’t realise how stacked this class was
For everyone wondering, the Cowboys did not have a 1st round pick in 2019. They traded it away to the Raiders for Amari Cooper.
That pick for the Raiders became Johnathan Abram lol
Imagine one of these players are watching this and there a miss or meh and the fact that the nfl made this video is crazy
The final frame got me
How is Kyler Murray a “meh”? Dude was excellent every year he wasn’t hurt, won OROY and went to the playoffs. He’s been very, very good.
He was literally only healthy for 1 year (being his rookie year). Then every year following he gets injured around the half way mark. If anything he's lucky to be meh I have him as a bust
@@Hationor he’s had three years where he’s started at least 14 games, two being 16. He’s only missed significant time twice, and it was the same injury in both years.
He has 3 3700 yard passing seasons, 3 20 TD passing seasons, has never had a completion percentage lower then 64.4, only had a year with less than 400 rushing yards once, and has scored 26 rushing tds over his 5 year career. The guy averages 278.4 yards and 1.9 tds per game. For comparison, Brady averaged 271.2 yards per game and 2.1 tds per game.
But nice try.
@@polumathes9729 That's not being healthy. Being healthy is playing every game. He's injury prone and causes the collapse of his team's season every year. You can put all the stats in the world he's a bust at the end of the day and is the reason they're consistently dead last without a winning season outside of his rookie year
His best year he melted 2nd half of the season and sucked in the playoffs then he cried in the offseason they gave in to him and he sucked the following year before getting hurt that’s why he’s meh!
@@polumathes9729before his injury last year he sucked!
1 playoff appearance in which he sucked in, in 4 years isn’t good, (not counting this past year) hence why he’s meh, the contract was a mistake!
As a Falcons fan, I Goff say that I am so glad that we don’t have to play against Brian Burns two times a year anymore. Absolute beast, would love to see him get a ring…just not with anyone in the NFC South other than my Falcons.
RIP Dwayne
Might be the best d linemen/pass rusher class ever
Appreciate you not covering the Haskins pick. May he RIP🙏🙏🙏
I Like Watching Your RUclips Channel NFL Throwback
Rest in Peace Dwayne Haskins, I think Mike Tomlin and the Steelers could have utilized his talents well had things been different
Apparently the raiders drafted clelin Ferrel to be a bookend to Maxx Crosby, who they drafted later in the same draft
make more of these videos
Perfect description of Devin white
Tbf a big part of the reason why Dillard didn't work out in Philly was due to Mailata being a pro-bowl level tackle out of no where
Okay... doesn't explain why he hasn't worked out anywhere else
@@Ravensfan-wl9oi I was going to say, the guy went to arguably the best situation for him in terms of offensive line coaching potential. He didn't have to play right away and learn behind great players, and once he got in he was going to be surrounded by players of quality. I can't say if it was the best scheme fit for him, but the pressure wasn't there immediately like it was for others.
Defensive talent in the first round was definitely a hit!
You can’t say Ferrell was drafted to play opposite of Crosby when Crosby was drafted in the same draft like 4 rounds later lol
Bruh devin white was a hit they trippin🤦♂️😂
"The Bears' leading sack man on the year, he _still_ leads the Commanders in sacks..." I'm not sure if that's more of an indication of how good Montez Sweat is or how bad Chicago and Washington are.
Think about it the Giants got to hit with burns and Dex
I remember when all us Packer fans were so upset that we didn’t get Devin Bush. But Gary has proven to be the better pick after all this time I think I can say we’re glad we didn’t get Bush
Collier was one of those guys I don't think Seattle needed as he was, they picked him for what they wanted him to magically be. They picked him as a square peg for a round hole, hoping he could become maybe something like a Bennett role for them. That's not who he was. He was a zero-upside athlete, which was incredibly strange for Seattle under Schneider. When they drafted Rashad Penny for example, they understood his role. He was a lightning back to offer their backfield dynamism with its 1st string physical approach. Health played a factor in his career, but people could see Pennys flashes.
With Collier, there was no flash. He was getting bypassed easily on the depth chart by players like Alton Robinson because they could offer pressure. Collier was known for his bull rush move in college but these are all men in the pros. You can't win like that unless you're dominant or unrelenting snap-snap. He wasn't that guy, and when teams shut down that option he had no answer. The coaching staff could see that. Just a total waste of a pick and cap space.
The company you work for posts a RUclips video and calls you “Meh” 🥶
They said Dexter Lawrence might be the best dlineman did Chirs Jones dissappear.
Like 1:20 as a lions fan what did he say about Williams? I guess all pro isn’t enough.
I don't disagree with Jones being a miss, BUT unlike Murray, he actually has a playoff win.
Tj would have made his 3rd pro bowl this season but getting hurt and Sam playing well is why he didn’t get voted in.
He would have been a replacement for kittle or even made it initially!
Murray has also been hurt twice. Not his fault.
