Loved that you all pray. Am a FTM and baby is turning 7mo the next week we been doing solids but not strict and he’s not exclusively breastfed. He loves bananas, drumsticks and salmon so far
I have an 11 year old and I don't remember being this nervous about feeding regular food. my 7 month old nurses and eats purees 3 times a day. I'm terrified to give her anything with texture. I keep seeing people give babies her age and younger finger foods. Mine has 3 teeth but I'm so scared of choking. 😢
Check out @solidstarts on Instagram! They are a great resource and post tons of images of how to safely serve the food to prevent choking. This is actually the safest time to start offering solids because the gag reflex is the furthest forward that it will ever be. Their app has a massive library of images of how to cut each type of food!
Finger foods are so important at a younger age. My friend was nervous of this also and used to blend most things up for her baby. Now he’s 15 years old and he has severe issues with food and will not eat most foods due to not liking texture!
Is 5 sessions of breastfeeding enough since there main source of food should be breastMilk/formula before 1? Babes about 5.5 months old and we’re going to start BLW soon. My first was formula fed so I knew exactly how much she was eating.
Thank you for the us video and the shared link! I was having an issue figuring out what I could feed my 7 month old but this helped me find so many options! Also, yes my baby is that loud for no reason😂 Random screams and grunts, he loves working in his pitch🤣
Mine is 7.5 months at the time of watching this.. How does your little babe grab food so well!? I'm sure practice. Mine is still struggling a bit with that. love the pancake tip! Need to get the muffin one :) Thanks!
I would say she eats about 60-75% of it most days! I never give her the full plate at once - just small portions at a time and let her lead, so I put a little bit more in front of her until she signals she’s full :)
Great video and perfect timing, because I will be introducing purées to my baby next month and BLW a few weeks later and I plan to use the happy healthy eaters course too(thanks!) Curious what peanut butter you use? I’m nervous about the stickiness. Also PS my nephew is born a week after Vivi and he is SOO loud haha. Must be the age they’re at 😅
Love the video. My baby is 7 1/2m and naturally want to feed on his own. So I’m looking for ideas for BLW. Will def try the banana pancakes and breadcrumb tilapia.
We didn’t follow a list, just ate things our family typically ate and kept track from there! I’d say we experimented the most when it came to different fruits!
Heyy my baby is going to be 7 months, and im still scared to give her this form of food. Im only giving her puree. Can u tell me how did u start it? I mean they say babies can choke so im really scared
Random question but how and when did you get your little one to sleep alone in her crib for naps? (mine sleeps great in hers at night but refuses to sleep in it for naps and will only sleep being held - she’s 3months old) ps love your videos ♥️
Figured I’d answer since we just went through this lol. It happens with time! My girl is going to be 5 months next week and sleeps best in her crib for all sleeps now. It just took consistency, I put her down there for every single nap starting around 2 months and night at 3.5 months, she just kinda got used to it after a while. Keep putting her down and I’m sure in like 1-2 months from now it’ll be better!🤞🏻☺️
^ agree with Jessica! We started practicing around 3 months because we knew she was outgrowing the bassinet and would need to be in the crib by 4 months. You can place them in there while they’re awake to get them used to it and then start with a nap here and there and eventually she was sleeping better in there than anywhere else 😊 try to have a nap time “routine” as well that includes the crib - may help signal that it’s time to sleep!
No teeth until 10 months! Babies can use their gums to chew effectively. Make sure food passes the “squish” test I.e you can easily squish between your fingers.
Don’t stress, it can take time and it also ebbs and flows! She’s 21 months now and there’s been seasons where it felt like she wouldn’t eat anything haha. All normal :)

I've been watching a lot of BLW videos bc I'm not sure what to feed my baby and how and you have great ideas
She definitely eats better than me!

@@sophier8008 Thanks for your scientific advice :'D
would love to see an update with baby #3!
What's the prayer you say? So cute! ❤

I pray before I eat always , & I shall subscribe
Great way to help a baby grow in the Lord amen

What about water an infant is given during which month?
She's just so adorable 🥰..and wow can eat 🤗👏👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I needed a list to go off of & bounce ideas off of!
I don't have a baby but love your mom insights. I praying for you too!
Aw thank you 🥺🤍
What a sweet soul you are. I hope God blesses you for being a light to others. Even
If you see this comment, I’m curious how to feed graded carrots to a baby without teeth since it is a choke hazard . Ty

Do you add flour to the pancakes?
does she have any teeth? i’m scard my baby will choke at 7 months and she has no teeth.
thank you for all these videos they’re very helpful 😊
These portions seem huge, is she eating it all?! My 7 month old eats about 10g of meat at a time😯
I would say she eats about 60-75% of it most days! I never give her the full plate at once - just small portions at a time and let her lead, so I put a little bit more in front of her until she signals she’s full :)
Same, in France they recommend maximum of 10g of meat per day, or 1/4 of an egg
What do you do with leftovers then?
Mine is just as loud. My LO will be 7 months this week

Yay, so exciting!! We use Kraft natural peanut butter - anything without added sugar is great 😊 hahaha that’s so funny
Hello, what’s that banana pancake recipe?
I want to try this with my 7.5 month old but im so worried bout choking 😭 even a piece of banana my baby took a bit out of she spit out. Any advise?

Yay! So glad Vivian loves the banana pancakes so much! ❤️❤️❤️
Huge hit in our house! 🤍
Just curious, did you come up with the list of first 100 foods or you got it from somewhere ?
We didn’t follow a list, just ate things our family typically ate and kept track from there! I’d say we experimented the most when it came to different fruits!
Omg where is your car seat and stroller from
what curtains do you have in her room???
They are older so I don’t have a link sadly but they’re from Bed Bath and Beyond!
Your baby wearing wrap where is it from i love it 🥰
Solly Baby :)
This is gonna be so great to watch, I have a 5 month old and so interested in BLW. Love your channel!!!❤️
Good for you for planning ahead!! I was literally so lost when she hit 6 months old hahah 🙈
Excellent meals❤
Loved this. How often did you introduce a new food?
Usually like 2-3 days just to leave time in case of allergic reactions :)
So in regards to the pulled pork, I thought babies weren’t to have added salt until 1 year? Am I overthinking this?
In moderation is fine but you don’t need to add salt to it! You can use other spices and that works great.
I’m pregnant, I had no idea a baby could eat such solid foods at that age!
Me neither!! Definitely check out @solidstarts and @happyhealthyeaters on Instagram - so helpful 🥰
Do you ever give her the whole plate of food at once to her to eat and explore the different textures?
Where are those precious hair clips from???
TJ Maxx 🥰

@@jessicab6252 okay thanks so much I will definitely give that a try! 😊
@@BethGraceMoore Okay thanks so much - that’s definitely comforting to know! 😊
So many practical tips!!
Wondering how many teeth baby has? How is she chewing solid food?
No teeth until 10 months! Babies can use their gums to chew effectively. Make sure food passes the “squish” test I.e you can easily squish between your fingers.
Your baby can eat! I wish my boy would get there but maybe when he's 9-12 mo he'll be a better eater
Don’t stress, it can take time and it also ebbs and flows! She’s 21 months now and there’s been seasons where it felt like she wouldn’t eat anything haha. All normal :)
Doesn't the microwave kill all the vitamins
Nope! Not true at all. Microwaving is totally safe!
Do u mash the banana up? Like a puree before you microwave?
Yes I do!
@@BethGraceMoore thank you!!
My son pediatrician told us he can have three meals per day with two snacks in between and 3 oz max per meal
at how many months can they eat 3 meals
She eats better than my 4 year old
👏👏👏muito bom o meu bebê tem 10 meses adora carne de porco 🐷😋😋😋😋😋
On this videos does she have teeth already?
No! She got her first at 10 months!
i wish i was a baby now 😭😅
Honestly, same
Don't use microwave to cook any of the baby's food
Adoreiiii ver o bebê comer carne de porco 🐷👏👏👏👏👏
I was shocked at the amount of pulled pork you fed her. Thats alot for a baby to digest-
As long as you follow baby's cues you won't overfeed! She's always been a great eater 🥰
I disagree. I’ve raised four. I guess you haven’t been up all night yet with a baby with gas and a belly ache.
Good luck.
Does she have teeth?
She got her first tooth at 10 months!
@@BethGraceMoore that’s awesome! I was wondering if she was eating all these foods without teeth.
frozen, tilapia...? this is where i skip to the next video
reading your bible! you americans crack me up
Are you guys joking? How on earth 7 months old baby eat such solid food? Isn't she get chocked? I can introduce my baby only puree.
