Today I'd like to share with you my first KH3 modded battle, I'm very sorry that it took me so long but I wanted to make something truly special and I had many troubles during the modding process. The base idea that I had in mind was some kind of tribute to the BBS battle against "No Heart" so I picked up the Vanitas fight as a base to mod, the thing is that I never imagined that picking this fight would give me the headache and troubles that it did.
First of all I gave Aqua her unused keyblade "Rainfell" which is inside the game files, then I replaced Vanitas with Xehanort but I found myself in a battle with Sora,Donald and Goofy hitting a wall and Ventus sleeping (which wasn't fitting) so I asked Keytotruth and he gave me some possible clues that were useful for deleting these. After removing the walls and the characters I recorded diferent fights but Xehanort always went out of bounds and I had to wait for him to appear which made them boring to watch, so in the end I decided to combine them all in a single video.
While editing I mixed two songs from the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World of Tres that feature the final battle theme against Xehanort and the mix turned out so cool that the video was asking for something else. Then came my final modding boss because I thought about Aqua turning into Dark Aqua and I couldnt' get it out of my head. I tried many different things in order to achieve this goal but all ended up in crashes or failures, fortunately for me Luseu came to help and tried something that I didn't. It almost took me 3 minutes to notice you modded Aqua's Keyblade to be Rainfell instead of Master's Defender. That's amazing.
Square should have definitely made a battle mode for kh3 it has so much potential
Even been able to play as different characters in data battle would of been great
@@DetectiveBrisket Unfortunately I don't think it would be possible, simply because outside Sora and maybe Kairi, the other characters have a too limited moveset to handle the data bosses.

@@soul6733 I'd disagree, after reading this I thought I'd try out just the gameplay styles of Riku, Kairi, Roxas and Aqua and then fought most of the 13 Data Battles and Yozora, did I beat them all? No. After playing around with all of these things I think only Roxas wouldn't work. But then again we'll never know without it being a thing.
Or better pacing and story progression with more battles against the organization early on with revists to the worlds....Don't forget Twilgiht Town complete disappointment honestly.
This is why people were hoping for a Colosseum or Mirage Arena in the game.
This is why people were hoping for Aqua, Roxas, and Riku to be also playable in Garden of Assemblage ...

@@Wizard_Pikachu how is it to much for more playable Characters? They literally did it in dream drop distance (and birth by sleep and 358/2 days) and after all the Story of kingdom hearts is not soras alone.
For the Finale it would have reasonable to have more characters to play. Especially riku, because even He had his own Journey with Mickey in this game...

So excited at the potential this holds actually. Also playable Dark Aqua was a major surprise, huge 2FM Aqua mod vibes. xD
It would be cool if Dark Aqua could play like Sora's Negative/Shadow mode and have her spells be dark versions of her normal ones. But this was some awesome stuff! Man I wish they brought the Olympus Colosieum back where you could do different duels with other characters as well as team battles with other characters. So much potential we could of had in 3.... (sigh)

Why oh why can we not refight bosses as different characters?? If this can be done through modding then surely SURELY it wouldn’t have been too difficult for Squeenix to put a character switch feature into like, idk, the Data Battles or something.
Still this is freaking amazing and I HOPE a feature they introduce into the next mainline series. We need a character swap on the go mechanic.
That would mean they'd have to put more work into the other playable characters and god forbid that happen
caelum they barely have to honestly lol Kairi, Aqua, and Riku are complete enough as to where it would work easily. Roxas is probably the only one that would require some work if any

@@caelum9471 yeah itd take time to come up with different skills and abilities because they feel kinda plain. Wish theyd focus on making a great game instead of setting up impossible deadlines and obvious cash grabs.
@@PivotDJ Exactly. I don't just want my options to just be one single magic, mash X, and shotlock. I want different forms, situation commands, etc. Riku cant even use flow motion or airstep which I think was kinda dumb considering Riku was the one who canonically came out of DDD without being reverted to level one but Sora automatically starts off with it in game.
Dayum. This really takes me back to when people would upload hacked Kingdom Hearts II battles using Code Breaker. Made me want to try it myself, but I lived in the UK where Code Breaker wasn't available. Plus I didn't know about the Final Mix version of the game despite all the vids spiralling about it at the time.
I didn't think that Aqua's Rainfell was able to be modded in-game as it only appeared in a cutscene from Re Mind, that's awesome, hopefully you guys can find a way to recreate the particles that appear when you attack an enemy with it.
And that Anti-Aqua was unbelievable. I dunno how you guys were able to pull it off, but it must've taken some next level work. Especially considering you also gave her own sprite, which obviously cannot have been in the game files on it's own.
This is REALLY showing the potential of how far Kingdom Hearts III can be pushed into creating some scenes that we've all wanted to see. Thank you for putting in all this time and dedication to get it done, even with quarantine I never have that.
I dunno if you're accepting requests, but if you're looking for ideas, I encourage you to do a Roxas vs Xion hacked battle. And if it's possible, set it in Twilight Town and give Roxas dual Kingdom Keys.

I want to see these with Roxas. That will be as awesome as this. But with Roxas against Xemnas
Too bad we doesn't have any solo battle with Xemnas (outside the Garden of Assemblage) ... So the best we could get is Roxas vs 3norts ...

Okay, so a few things. One, I LOVE that the whole arena was utilized. Like, it wasn't just the main floor. They were fighting on the staircases, and in the hallway. I LOVE that. Secondly, Dark Aqua. That was a pleasant surprise. Makes me real curious as to how much potential KH3 modding really has. Thirdly, I think the others have already listed some pretty neat ideas for potential future clashes. I for one, would like to propose a couple of Riku-centric ones: Riku vs. Ansem, and - hear me out - Riku vs. Anti-Aqua. (Like, for real this time. Not the Demon Tower that changes into her. But Aqua herself.)

Bravo!! The aligning of Aquas battle quotes with the music at the end was well done and got a chuckle out of me. Can't wait to see more hopefully!
hacked battles are what I've been waiting for. I really hope the data battles with Roxas, Kairi, Aqua, and Riku can be hacked too.
Man, this just makes me wish Re:Mind actually came with a "play as any playable character mode" of some kind.... Seriously, I probably would have gotten a LOT of playtime from that.
Anyway, the video itself was very well edited. The fight also looked pretty fun to fight with Aqua's moveset.

Great work! It gives me hope that-assuming SQ doesn’t do a proper Final Mix of the main game-modders will give us the “True” Dark Seeker Saga Finale that the dev team wasn’t quite able to achieve due to time and various circumstances. Ideally, if we could get Sora, Riku and Kairi vs Xehanort someday, that would be amazing.

Not gonna lie but those transitions with the song were legit! I enjoyed watching this.
I really love the verticality of battle stage design of this; fighting in the stairs and hiding in the hallways really makes this tactical and epic.

What I would like to see in a KH2/BBS mod:
•Note: all of this would be in the classic graphics. Takes place during the KH3 terranort fight.
LW is diving into Terra’s Station of Awakening on the Keyblade Glider.
LW fights Terra who is wielding No Name and uses Terranort’s moveset with some of his other commands. LW might fight the way in BBS.
Then, LW would face 1000 heartless but with his KH2 moveset. The Guardian appears in the form of DDD second phase with Terra trapped inside. LW would use his desperation move to easily defeat it.
Finally, Terra and the Gaurdian are in a Trinity position. LW is about to use his Ultima Cannon to destroy them but flashes to Ven and Aqua as well as seeing a vision of Riku as his successor which made him change his mind. LW decided that saving and reuniting with his friends instead of destroying his possessed self as a real way to set things right.
LW heads towards Terra and the Guardian and all three performed Trinity which signals Terra’s return.
That was amazing I loved the transition from Aqua to Dark Aqua it definitely brought the intensity out. And I have no words to describe how much I loved the music!
This is all I want from kh4, this was very great work~ 12/10

Nicely done! Pretty cool that Rainfell is in the game's code. As a side note, I hate that they stick Terra and Aqua with their starting Keyblades from BbS instead of their "upgraded" versions, Ends of the Earth and Stormfall. They're aesthetically pleasing because of 2FM's secret ending, and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that they don't use them here. I know Ventus technically has Lost Memory as his "upgraded" Keyblade as well, but I still prefer Wayward Wind for the same reasons.
I expected Forze dell'Oscurita playing in the background, but this works

Xehanort: I spent 3 Dark Mana to call this Black Civilization creature, and use my other creature to attacks your shield!
Aqua: Shield trigger activate, with this Water Magic, I can destroy 2 creature you control with the same civilization!
