This would be an epic way to conclude Roxas's story. Having him fight and kill the man who made his life a living hell would've been the perfect way to cap off his character along with Xion.
They even had almost all of them programmed as teammates with full movesets and their own unique abilities and animations. They may as well go the extra mile and make them playable. They even made Axel an entirely new Keyblade and moveset, only to appear in 2 fights as a support character? It feels incomplete.

This was awesome, data roxas vs data xemnas, I know we did get roxas vs xemnas in remind but this was even better, I was already satisfied that roxas got his revenge finally but seeing this mod was icing on the cake, square needs to make an update allowing you to switch characters in the data fights after you beat them all
Honestly,I hope that multiple playable characters be a constant thing in the future. I'd rather swap between entirely different characters than recolored skins of Sora,personally.
Seriously though the fact you guys got these characters fully functional in pretty much any fight in the game is phenomenal they should've done this to begin with keep it up it's amazing also loved the run around the room as the lasers shoot you thing you did that was so sweet

They missed a opportunity to play different characters on this scenario and have them add growth abilities by doing thoughs battle gate challenges. 1-99 lv challenge would of been a awesome addition. 99 floors of castle oblivion or hollow bastion. Maybe 99 battle gate challenges to level up characters and add abilities.
Well, if we put it by technicality, it kinda makes sense he doesn’t. Think of it as if they pulled Roxas straight out of KHII. He doesn’t know what shotlocks are and just has his handy keyblades and what he knows how to do. Which is kinda true with the time gap as well, with KHII and KHIII taking place a year a part.
tbh this fight needed to happen in KH3 and sadly didn’t really deliver. i figured he was gonna play a much bigger role than he did but sadly no on that too :c

Um I have done this fight on proud mode and IM almost positive their are like 5 different slashes that can’t be countered. The second DM was nuts I didn’t know you could literally just out run it without any dashes . I wonder if that’s possible on Sora
Hopefully the next KH game 2022 gives a Versus Mode with which we can decide who we play and make fun matches against edited Bosses or Friends in online matches I would even buy it if its just a game in itself without story in it as long as its crossplay from switch to ps4 from ps4 to Xbox and from Xbox to ps5
Kingdom Hearts 3 really was glaringly underwhelming in many areas...pacing, boss battles, and moments that we all wanted and probably would have got if were kh2 or kh1.
