- What better way to start the year than with this awesome mashup of a fight, also the reason I haven't done Kairi yet is that I wanna try to get her team attack to work with Sora so until then I won't be doing a Kairi vs. Yozora
The way I'm switching characters is through Luseu's mod menu which he really worked hard on. In other words, all of this would be impossible without Luseu's mod menu and I am eternally grateful lol. He's doing a bunch of other epic shit that I could never do (since I basically learned how to mod kh3 like 2 weeks ago).

Without Exiblade7's help, I wouldn't have been able to mod kh3. He's basically taught me all I know and has done a lot of fights that I haven't. Again he's helped out a ton so go check him out.

I try my best to no damages many attempts after beating a boss but I beat Yozora 3 TIMES and took damage at the DM by dodging too early lol
Honestly out of all of the playable characters Roxas is the most finished since everything works on him while other characters are either too slow or have issues that need fixing (i would like to try and add custom moves on all playable characters but that's gonna take a while, but I think magic might be the first step in the direction because Roxas only has water and DESPERATELY NEEDS more magic)
Oh and also I do give a short message at the end of the video but I'll say it here as well, since my winter break is gonna end soon I'm going to go back to my old schedule of posting and live streaming over the weekend so I hope that's not an issue for anyone!

Hey thank you for this video! Can you make a video KH3 tier list between the playable characters. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, and Aqua. (I know they are locked to a certain level but make it under the assumption they are all level 100). And because there's only 5 characters you can actually breakdown why ones better than the other.

I'm still in awe of how doable these fights look with these characters and without Sora's various mechanics
Seriously. There's so many parts that are scripted and designed around Sora, it's impressive they work at all.
Then again, I kinda doubt certain fights like Xigbar would work
@@santitheperson9416 There's no reason to go for the Showdown. You can beat Xigbar just by blocking repeatedly until his own bullets kill him.

Airstep
Flowmotion
Keyblade Transformations
Keyblade Switching
Multiple Reprisals
Access to more items
Aero magic
Multiple options in keyblade
Multiple options in combo modifiers
Access to equipment, armor, and food
@@OneRandomVictory These fights are doable without 90% of these mechanics. Most of these fights are block, reprisal the opening, airstep to boss during openings. Roxas has an instant attack that zooms to the boss and his reprisal is pretty good. I think he can do a good chunk of the bosses if not all of them.
all the super bosses are simply like sekiro bosses block and attack at the openings. it's pretty much what it is on critical with all pro codes on.
This reminds me of the Roxas vs Riku fight in 358/2 days
Not as atmospheric or emotionally charged though, but the cityscape definitely gives it similar vibes for sure.

@@ManusiaKagakRusuh Consentrated rage is more powerful than friendship in the KH universe. Roxas and Terra have shown this to be the case since they turned the tide of war.
Does it has anything to do with the dual wield fighting style.
As far as I know he's the only character who wields two keyblades at the same time in the series ,and I found it very insane just how he able to gain the dual wield ability by Xion's memory life and keyblade experience pass down to him so easily before facing the Organization 13 all by himself but stopped by Riku back at 358/2 days

Sora - Happy light: combat is flashy and playful looks like sora does what is "fun" to him over directly defeating the enemy.
Roxas - Angry twilight: combat is kinda flashy but more brutal and to the point.
Ventas - Happy twilight: combat still to the point but incorporate more discipline style.
Venitas - Angry darkness - pure brutality but does it in a way he finds fun.

Roxas is still the most terrifying opponent I can imagine facing. The guy is the only god tier character in Kingdom Hearts. Imagine being in Shibuya past midnight and looking up at 109 to see this happening.

@@tomorchard6660 I think this light magic comes from Ventus, in BBS Ventus has skills that consist of creating pillars of light, in addition to Ventus using light magic to move super fast in the last Shotlock and creating several light needles

I think that very well is the case, roxas may be the strongest keyblade weirder ever, he has mastered the synchblade ability in that he doesn’t need a second heart to use it anymore, abs he doesn’t need to change forms to use it, he can just use it on command.
@@bobbymogged1836 well obviously but the only reason he could use it is bc of the two hearts. They arent gonna take two signature keys away from roxas the fans would go berserk. But two keyblades isnt always better obviously. Its cooler by far. But not always stronger

well it may only be a mod but there is a mod for KH2 in the works that lets you play as roxas complete with custom keyblades, drive forms and all sorts of other goodies much akin to how the vanitas mod and the aqua mod work tho the roxas mod is being made by someone else

I think Yozora will still steal the ultima weapon somehow ...
Might crash or it's counted as a unique stackable status meaning everyone but sora is immune but yozora attacks like it's successful

The move is capable of stealing Riku's and Kairi's Keyblades, but I don't know if Roxas has an "idle Keyblade-less" state like them.

This is a Legendary match-up that complements these two so well, Thanx for this! Its pretty clear that while Roxas is the faster, stronger and better fighter, Yozora's arsenal provided superior range options, versatility and endurance. The key factor (pun intended) here was who has the better intellect; I agree Zora is the one who relies mainly on tactics than melee in combat, but the way he brashly initiated the conflict on Sora based on poor assumptions gave me high doubt in him, whilst Roxas already has experience in dealing with tacticians (Riku, Xemnas) in a sense that being patient and adapting to the next move would not be out of character, along with being proven to learn communication skills a week after his birth. Could u do one with Roxas and Vanitas next time, the idea of those two have always blended together.
This makes me really want a kingdom hearts game where Roxas is the protagonist

Really cool fight bro how the hell did you figure out that opening at 3:11 seriously I was like WTF. Honestly, Roxas seems to be easier than sora with his warp attacks creating easier openings most of the time and the only thing that seems harder is the pyramid attack opening as water cast is a lot slower than thunder but his DM phase seems way easier and I suck ass at blocking his sword throw so Roxas's 360 guard is beast
I figured it out from watching WillJV2 and Bizkit047's fights with Yozora. So, basically studying. I'm not sure if I'd figure that out on my own though.
That one is pretty basic. You can just use Thunder from far away and it will work just like that. The opening at 7:30 is pretty rare
water is not to stop the pyramid, its to get i frames so it doesnt hit, i think the game would bug if that, the kupo coin steal and the big red orb of doom and death hit roxas or any other character that isnt sora.
@@gablink5190 Water is to stop the pyramid he just casts it twice once for s and again to hit Yozora the timing is just very strict which is why I mentioned its slower than thunder. You can see he pulls off the intended strat at 1:30 and 11:22

It is so random Roxas has Water of all elements. I feel like no thought was put into that by the devs lulz
