UK subscriber here. The manner in which you go about your business demonstrates serenity, an eagerness to overcome a problem and the satisfaction that waits once a problem has been conquered. High levels of organization make for high levels of happiness when conducting one's trade!
95% of my power tools are Milwaukee, but I made the plunge and diversified my colors with a makita track saw…thanks to watching your channel. Thank you for the great show.
That worked out nice! Just goes to show that everything we make is just a prototype and we always improve.
Just like how doctors are always practicing!
Great - going to have to rip out all my storage and start again 😂 Looks awesome Scott! 🙌🏻
Dude I love your van fit out, mine is also custom. Just hoss everything in the back and let it settle as I turn corners!
Gz Byron.
That's how I roll too
I love organisation and tidiness! Great build Scott!
Great work Scott. I just finished my new fit out based on your original design, with a few personal mods. Thanks for the inspiration :)
great timing, i'm doing my van this week...Awesome mate
I love how the international way of keeping the tubes re-usable is to stick a screw in the end haha! Nice one mate, good job!
Late comment here, but Dap makes a cap called the Dap cap. It kept some caulking of mine fresh for a couple months!
i guess im asking randomly but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account??
I stupidly lost the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Axel Amir instablaster :)
Merry Christmas to you, your family, & friends. We appreciate all the resources it takes to bring Scott Brown Carpentry to life here in RUclips land. Keep up the good work.
From you friends in the Pacific Northwest USA. Cheers!
Grats Mr. Dubbs, great vid Mr. Brown. I'm about to outfit a van I just bought and enjoy seeing your ideas
Pretty darned organized mate. Well done
Byron, considering that Scott was sitting on those new drawer runners since March i wouldn’t expect the clamps anytime soon 😁
Brilliant content. Watching over from the UK and everyone’s vans are all the same. Would love a set up just like yours. Keep up the hard work
Thank for your video's.
I am a dutch self-emplyed carpenter and i learned from your way of working.
A speed square was unknown be me.
In combination with a battery skilsaw it woks fantastic.
Keep up the work.
Great customer service from the rail guys.
Did not know the track saw attachment for the cordless router existed. That is amazing. Thanks for showing that!
Jealous of your whole van build. The new drawer just makes it that much better.
Hey Scott, I know that you love the systainers, but if you got rid of them you would have 75% more storage space. I used to have everything in it's factory case, but had a temper tantrum one day and fired them all in the bin. Best thing I ever did. Now I have a couple of totes with wheels that I load up with what I need for the job, and have tons of space for more tools! Merry Christmas from Calgary, Canada.
Kevin Kline Did u buy the tough system trolley ? I just use a wheelbarrow sometimes
@@MsElijah16 Hello back, I use a two wheeler with a couple of large soft sided tool bags. I got mine from Home Depot, and I also keep some smaller tool totes with specialty stuff in them like electrical tools. I grab the one I need and through it on the big bag and wheel them in. Have fun renovating!!
So good. Loving your work Scott...
That’s actually a very good setup now with the side access aswell as top. Cool great video as usual
Now i've watched all your vids, I eagerly await each new one and savour it! keep em coming Scott
Merry Christmas Scott and crew. Thanks for the great vids. All the best for 2020.
Kameron is now envious, not just because you have drawer 2.0., but nobody else could have made it all the way in there and back out to attach the slides and stop at the end. If you were in The Great Escape you'd make a good tunnel rat. :)
Hey Scott thanks a million for this, a real walkthrough, and great tips - perfect vid mate. Merry Christmas
Cheers Chris 👍
Just love the edits. Music, narration, it's all perfect. Well done
Awesome drawer improvement
Merry Christmas to you and Paerau.Have a great holiday
Very nice redesign, I like that you accounted for clutter storage. Happy Holidays to all.
excellent video on the drawer - I am in the process with your inspirational design of my fit out. I have the flooring done, was glad to see an update particularly the back stop that I can incorporate, a pull feature, paint instead of carpet, totally dig the pullout sections below the "drawer". Great design my man. Funny my last project some of the wood was from new Zealand Im in Indiana. Cheers mate!
Your jokes and editing style are consistently top notch. Love your channel :)
If only my garage workshop was this organised!
Great build, tools are much more accessible !
Says one organisation expert to another. 👍 (Boys - I need your help! 😢)
@@TakamiWoodshop What ... now you need our help !!!
You are the one buying tools you do not have space for ... hehe !!
awesome idea executed well!
Loving the content. Happy holidays bro
Your original build was the inspiration for my build in my van after years of struggling with shelves :-)
very clean Scott, good work 👍🏽
Hi Scott,
Thumbs up on your vlogs!
I found that putting my powertools and tools (i dont need often on the jobsite) in my van shelf without the case. This gives me a lot more room in the van. This room can be used to store more tools or materials. My van layout is different though. I have a verticaal shelf on the left side to store powertools, some handtools and the battery tools i dont use often. On the right side of the van a small shelf to store screws and nails. My allday use handtools and battery tools are in 2 toughsystemcases with a trolley. Trolley in put in the middle of the van :)
Regards from Holland,
Well Done! A great use of a rain day!
Excellent vid, as usual. Thank you.
I love New Zealand weather it reminds me of Britain you get just as much rain as us.
That’s really good I maybe copy that for my new work van
Hello. I am also remodeling a Hiace in Japan.
I'm glad we have the same hobby. : )
Need to put some plans together of the van fit out an sell them, thats a dope set up
Very nice. I love your van outfit. Wouldnt work for me tho i often need to bring jerrycans, buckets and bags of materials.
Exciting builder Neistat
class build well thought out
Love the videos. Coming from Calgary, Alberta, Canada
thanks for sharing that, I'm planning io building something similiar for the back of my truck. Being a sparky mine won't be as refined as your efforts, but enough information there to get me on the right track! Cheers all the way from Scotland. Definitley got a new sub 👍
Great video. I have got to redo the racking in my transit soon may do draws have a great Christmas
love the drawer system scott
Nice way to add some value to your car😜
Thank you for, as usual, great content👌
Scott Brown: Recently discovered your channel. The editing, music, and your selection of projects all make for a very cool view and easy for me (us?) to follow along. 👍🏾
I’m thinking I could use a Makita router and it’s too bad that we can’t get that Toyota van here in the States. 😎
Your channel is awesome.
Keep up the great work! ✌🏾
really liking the draw
Very neat & tidy SBC.
Nice work - bloody good idea
I would imagine those new slides cost a pretty penny. But they sure make for a nice drawer!
Merry Christmas scott when it comes. Have a nice brake
proper smart that. Wish i could kit out my van like that and store stuff in the van, but too risky here in the UK
Fantastic!
"The drawers in! Now i've got a big mess to clean up"
*Moment of realisation*
i laughed, great and educational videos man! been watching for a while, much love from the UK!
Nice job. Merry Christmas from England
Just a quick happy new year to you from the Black Isle 😁 please keep the vids coming I really enjoy them
Have fun today
Great viddy this week Scott that router attachment is pukka! , glad to see you got those Yankee adapters I sent you, have a good crimbo buddy.
Some job u done.🔨🔨👏👏🇮🇪🇮🇪
Awesome episode man, awesome editing
Best you do the other draw mate. Always good to watch
I have really wanted to pick up one of these tall Mercedes work vans recently. Budget wise videos like this definitely help make the best of the Dodge Caravan I have now which really sucks in comparison.
VAN! my favorites
Dear Toyota:
Please sell this van in north America.
Subtle placement of your t-shirt. Very cool.
Welcome to another exciting episode of "Scott Brown contortionist!"
Awesome drawer brah 👍 I have to do something similar to my van but you know how it goes, too many projects. 🤔😆
Hi Scott. Great video, I like what you did the side entry storage. I just recently re-watched your old draw video to find out where you got your draw slides from. Mine arrived yesterday unfortunately they are one set short so I'll have to wait before starting my ute draw setup but can't wait.
Merry Christmas from Ireland mate, as a fellow chippy I love the channel
Hey Scott,
I couldn't help but notice that you don't have any self centering hinge drill bits. They usually come in a pack of 4. You get a 2.0, 2.5, 3.5 & a 4.0mm bit allowing you to install drawer slides all the way upto installing fire doors.
Next time Gaston (I think I'm spelling it right) is in town ask him to grab you a set & try them out, they've made my life as a handyman a breeze when fitting new doors & kitchen drawers.
👍
I'm a new subscriber from the United States, and let me tell you your layout is genius!
Nice one bro!
Love your vids bro!
When you “Like” a video before you watch it because you know the content is alway Great 👌
Love it mate
Man I love these videos great build Scott looks like a good investment for time!
Nice done👌
Nice vid Scott time to upgrade the other side of the draw runners to match the new one and I'm sure it will make for another exciting episode
Great ideas & build. Very "fitting"...as the year "draws" to a conclusion...! Greetings to our Scott Houdini Brown...!
Could have just routed a few mm into your existing ply box to fit the bigger runners? Although bit late to suggest that now! And new shelves design looks good
exactly what I was thinking. Why not just do that, 10 mins, job done.
Glides like it slides just watch it ride 👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏🏴
I just ordered a product called Decked for my f150. It’s a heavy duty plastic unit with 2 drawers and a plastic top. Very strong, but now I’m thinking custom will be a lot better. The drawers can be the size of my tools, even little cubbies for things like levels.
Only thing is the Decked units are weather resistant. With a custom solution I would still need to use my truck bed cover.
So it’s raining in Auckland again.
Don’t miss that!
You can use 50mm pvc/plastic pipe for your glue/silicone. I have my fan fitted with some works perfect
ICY AS ALWAYS
Where you keep the drill box on the right cut ot an inch or two lower so you can get to you drills without removing the box
Who knew that 'buying' a much better hinge that was fixed properly would be better :)
Love the vids Merry xmas to you
Love it.
All you needed to do to make the old box fit, is rout the drawer slides into the sides. Half on frame. Half in drawer.
I do however love the new disign!
Nice Byron. 😀👍🔨🔨🔨
That’s exactly what I am going to do during the Christmas holiday
Sick.
Excellent
Mate I wish to have the time to do the same drawers system love them 🤙
Your shirt matches your van
