Remember, Eren is named after Eren Krueger. Eren takes his name in Marley. His grandfather doesn't even know Eren exists because he thinks Gricia is dead. So them talking is very ironic. And when talking about Falco, he said the Grice family name. Grice was Gricia's friend, the first guy thrown off the wall without being transformed. Soo many ties in this episode 👍

By the way honorary marleyan is what the red arm band means. The warriors get red arm bands and so do their families. The candidates get yellow arm bands but only until they become soldiers, do they get red arm bands for themselves and their family.
