AoT fools most into choosing a side or person when it is really challenging you on choosing what is wrong or right in each given situation.

Remember Eren saying "i have no Choice " because at that point you don't expect him to just sit and watch the entire world declaring war on his people without doing anything.

You wonder guys why Eren did that. Marley shouldn’t have went into Paradis to try retrieve the founding Titan. They only wanted excess power.
The Eldians in Paradis were absolutely no threat to them at that point, had their memories wiped out and would’ve lived in ignorance and peace within the walls for generations.
But just like in some instances in the real world, when people get attacked in a violent way, extremism is usually the response. Hence the rumbling.
This could be just me but fuck Marley. Got what you deserved.
I completely agree. This presentation by Willie tyber is literally all of the world saying they're coming together to kill the Island. The whole world!! And Eren is wrong for attacking them once their motive is clear? This is literally the second time the world attacked them

Guys, let's be honest. If we were in Eren's place, living like all the people on Paradis in a cage, whose mother and many other friends and acquaintances died, upon arrival in Marley we see that our country Paradis is about to be attacked again, but not only Marley, but the rest of the world wants to unite to exterminate us, we will applaud them and let them get away with it? Nah. Eren did everything right. He knew that there are also civilians in Marley. But Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie (no hate towards them) also knew that the people of Paradis are normal people, but did they stop? The answer is NO. So why should Eren stop? Even if Eren attacked only the military power of Marley, the whole world (including civilians) would start screaming that the Eldians from Paradis are devils and would not believe otherwise, in the end they will also go to war against the Eldians. Eren had no choice but to protect HIS country and people.
Simple yeah.
I feel like Raph REALLY gets Eren. Eren has always been like this and he doesn’t really care about marleyens. All he cares about is saving his people (inside the walls), so he really has no choice but to kill them all if he wants to save paradis. Also, Marley literally declared war so there would’ve been war no matter what, the only difference is that Eren did the first move and not them. At the end of the day, there’s no real villain in AOT... Eren is an antihero.
Eren is doing what needs to be done…
If you're expecting Eren to be a good guy, Armin did say there's no such thing as a "good guy".😅

Angie, what Eren did in that moment in the end didn't show different to all the people. Willy Tybur just declared war on Paradis to the entire world and named Eren by name as the enemy no.1. Eren just responded and accepted the war

I’ve been checking your channel for the updates lol. AND YES. The animation changed. The first three seasons of Attack on Titan anime were animated by Wit Studio. However, for the last season, the series shifted its animation studio and Mappa took over the responsibility of doing justice to the finale of the series.

So, now you know the walls were all made of titans and they were not meant to protect the people from Paradies against other titans, but against other people. Even so King Fritz threatends the world with the Wall Titans, he never intendet to really crush the world.
Here comes the important question you should ask yourself: What was Marley intention in obtaining the founding titan?
They weren't threatened by Paradies Island. At the end of Season 4 Episode 1 we were told that the era of the titans is about to come to an end and marley is pressed to obtain the founding titan fast.
Why?
You can't even say it was because they need protect their country against Eren. Reiner and his fello warriors were send to Paradies Island to obtain the founding titan even before Eren had any titan powers.
So for real, what was marley intetion?
they were not intended to protect the people of Paradies from other titans, but to protect others from the Eldians. This is why titans are turned inwards and not outwards.
King Fritz knew that the world would soon collapse.
Hello, remember that Eren does not seek peace with the world, he swore revenge and kill those who caused his mother's death, the last thing he wants is peace with the Eldians, and in the last episode of season 3 he said that He was going to kill them, Eren doesn't care about the Eldians who live in Marley, he just wants to save those who live on the island, that's my point of view. This isn't a story about good or bad people. It's about how trauma gets passed down and cycles of violence. People making what they think are tough even horrible decisions for a greater good.
A thing I think you guys aren't considering is Eldians can be turned into titans, just by itself makes that attribute about themselves dangerous to other people (even each other) and a target for exploitation. It's not their fault, just how they were born, but what kind of world would it have to be where that wasn't a major issue? Old King Fritz thought he had a somewhat imperfect solution....
The reason Eren ate Billy Tiber was because Eren didn't know who Warhammer was hidden in the Tiber family, so Eren ate Billy Tiber first
Willy got everyone around the world to declare war on Paradis. Eren cannot use the Founding Titan's full power because he's not of royal blood but he's also not bounded by the Kings will.

@@echoedfox9544 This is mistaken though. I felt that way for multiple rewatches myself, but we already know that a certain someone brought the Tybur family in to make certain events happen. Eren knew in advance that Willy would declare war. He let him do it, partly I guess to see if it would happen as he expected, but he already knew and it was part of his plan.
@@skipjack23Yeah, seriously, Eren already had everyone moving into position at that point regardless of what he did next. He was already 100% locked in the moment he got there. Willy could have declared a peace treaty with Paradis and Eren would still have to kill everyone. XD

Eren good ? When the guy litterally overkilled two adults when he was 10, full of rage. He always had some evil in him.
And this show is not about good and evil, because there are no such things in the real world. SNK is really inspired from the real world, and in the real world, there are no factual good or factual evil. Everyone has a different opinion about what is good and what is wrong. Then you can't say that both trully exist as "something" Like Kruger said to Grisha on the wall " The only truth is that there are no truths. Everyone can be a demon or a hero. All it takes is for someone to believe it. " Meaning that good and evil depends from the point of view. Good and evil only exist through the human mind. It's not natural, nor part of the Universe. It's only creation from our minds. Everything can be good, and everything can be evil, it all depends in what you want to believe. Armin said the same thing as he don't like the word " good people" because no one is good for everyone.
That said, the situation Paradis Island is in, it's already fucked up. There are no "good" solution, whithout killing innocents. It's a damn war. In war, innocents are just accidental deaths, or sacrifices for the country to win. I don't think this was the best move to do it, but Eren was never a good person to begin with. He was just a normal being, with good and evil, as everyone else. He, of course, always wanted to save innocents, but he always wanted to fulfill his rage too. And i don't think you get what Eren always wanted. What Eren wanted is freedom, not peace, nor achieve good. Since he saw Armin's book about the outside world, he always wanted to go outside and see beyond the walls. It was more of a quest of freedom than a quest to save Humanity, for him. And don't forget that humans are selfish by nature. No matter what, a "good" goal, like saving people, is always because you think it's good for you. Like Erwin whose goal was to save the humanity inside the walls, when in reality it was just merging toward his selfish goal to know the truth. Some people have convictions. But every convictions are personnal. So, by nature, every morally " good goal" hide a more personnal and selfish goal. Reiner believed he was doing the right thing, but he just wanted to be a hero. That's selfish. Every humans are like that, because we all have self conscious. We are not sharing everyone's minds. So, it's impossible for a human to not be selfish on something.

There is no good or bad people in aot. Everyone in aot fighting for something or for someone. You have to wait and see all the episode to understand why eren doing all this.

With what i believe, there is no wrong or right here, marley a country with multiple titan shifters and much better technology declaring war on a tiny isolated island whose people did not even know there were humans outside the walls until just a few years ago. To Eren his world is Paradis and that's the only thing he cares about and wants to protect. If you are going to declare war either innocent eldians will die or innocent marleyans, and Eren chose.

The true objective of the anime is actually Eren's revenge and the freedom of his people (those on the island) remember Eren's promise in the second chapter of the anime.
