For me, they never lost to begin with 2 of the characters they played are some of the traits that formed my personality over the years For brennan, frasier, his performance in the mummy A man with overwhelming odds, a literal man from The afterlife is stacked up against him And against all odds, he overcame them and tackled fear while having some of the best One Liners that I have ever heard even arnolds can't top them in my opinion. And for ke huy Quan He played data one of the coolest. Out of the box, characters that was smart. Quirky and crafty and determined in his work And no matter how silly his contraptions were, he felt confident in his ability to think outside the box. Those are just two characters of many that would form my mind over the years It's an honor to have witnessed their awesome performance on screen I thank them for that

But he's so good at harnessing his feelings, he felt appreciative and got it out in such a quiet and personal way that it has weight behind it. I think that's why he is so popular, a lot of men today welcome a role model that doesn't hide the feelings. I certainly admire him for it.

To constantly deny and bottle your emotions just leads to depression and anger which will eventually destroy you and hurt those around. Took me almost three decades of depression, anger and substance abuse issues to learn that lesson but once I did my life became infinitely better as a result.
And now they both won Oscars last night for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor respectively. They are, in fact, still here! Congrats to both of them. What a comeback story for the both of them

Ke Huy Quan is THE comeback story of the century. This is Ke's first acting role in OVER two decades! After displaying such amazing talent as Short Round and Data, there were almost no roles for him. He had to leave acting in order to support himself. This is a MAJOR victory for him - as well as for Asians in general.
I watched encino man in the 90s. Brendan and Ke. We're still here man. Through all those years of ups and downs. Of sickness and happiness. Of sad and bitterness. We're still here. It's like watching 2 old friends having a reunion and i am part of that too.

I’m not a huge fan of Hollyweird, but seeing these two men who I grew up idolizing come this far in their careers and make such spectacular “comebacks”… in the past couple weeks they’ve both brought me to tears more than I’d like to admit.
I can't help but feel that Brendan Fraser is talking not just about still being there in the movie industry but possibly just alive. After what he has been through I wonder if that was a much heavier comment then what I initially thought.

I did the same when I saw everything everywhere all at once, called everyone I now to go watch it. Even bought the ticket to my friend who didn't believe in it, and watching their blown away face at the end was worth it. And I'm definitely going to watch the 🐳.

Even Sandler, who is the only one at the table that has had consistent work his whole career and couldn’t really relate to the struggles the other actors went through, he still listens to them with care and respect.
