He was in Orlando for the holidays touring with Broadway's Hamilton and took some time out to do the Chipmunk Song with VoicePlay. Man in the Mirror was J None's send-off to the US Navy and Deejay was right there in the middle - really fine version of MJ's Man In The Mirror. VoicePlay did the Beach Boy's In My Room and lo and behold, Deejay was in that one too. Bang and Butter as well as You're My Best Friend. That should get you going!

DeeJay is phenomenal and has appeared with VP a number of times. Check some of those out. Let me think In My Room, Butter, Bang, My Best Friend, Man in the Mirror, just a few. The Chipmunk Song too. Off the top of my head. MJ was an entertainer and briliant at what he did. VP did a brilliant job of this cover.

Ohhhhh youve never heard deejay with voiceplay before? He has such a unique and beautiful voice. I think my other two favorite songs with him and vp are Butter, Bang!, And the christmas chipmunk song 😊💜

@BemusingBill tbh I wasn't familiar with butter or Bang (the chipmunk song is an oooooold one played at Christmas, you would recognize it if you heard it) but I still loved them, looking forward to you eventually checking them out uncle Bill! 🥹😁💜
Deejay's Hamilton tour, Angelica Tour, ended in Puerto Rico last summer. He's done some shows in Tampa and Orlando of his own music and covers since. In April he played Burr in Hamilton on Broadway for 5 weeks as the principal actor took a leave of absence. He recently did a Beyonce night at 54 Below in NYC with other vocalists.
I think that is so cool that he's in Hamilton (I know he's an understudy, but still!) and getting a major role for 5 weeks! Incredible voice and an incredible person!
@BemusingBill Burr is his favorite of the 5 roles he was understudy for. So it was awesome that's what he was called up for. And he did an amazing job. I saw him on Easter Sunday.
After the craziness of last months song (which is 🔥) this was the perfect cool down, stripped back delight.
Deejay is brilliant! He has a solo song called “Tonight” which is now one of my all time favourite songs. His voice is “smooth like butter” (he also sang on Voiceplays cover of BTS Butter 😂”

Deejay Young has a pretty busy off-broadway career - last I heard he was traveling as an understudy to 5 actors in Hamilton. So once touring started again post covid, it's been harder to bring him in.

As usual, VoicePlay did a great job. Wasn't really a fan of the song in the first place, the original is a take it or leave it song for me.
I am a fan of MJ. This particular song though, I'm like you on it. I think VP's version was criminally smooth 😁
Too bad they didn't do the last choreographed scene in the original video! If you watch it, it's 5 guys with backlighting doing a MJ signature dance routine. It would have been hilarious! Thanks, buddy!
Personally , I've never been a fan of these kinds of voices, but to each their own.
