    To see Justin's video pop up on Friday evening is so fascinating, especially with such a great song lesson! Anyway, just wanted to thank you if by any chance you would read this post. Went through beginner's and intermediate course in 2 and a half months, played for 7-10 hours each day, because I had plenty of time back then and it was (and still is!) very fun. I've still got plenty of things to learn off your website. Thank You a lot, Sir!

    I just received the blues solo book also. Just what I needed with the comments about the licks. Do you plan to do some lessons about these solo's also ? (if you can find time for it of course). Anyway thanks for all the musical fun your lessons gave me already!!!

    Justin,before I found your great video lesson, I tried playing this with no capo (barre chords) but found this way to be a real hand-breaker after a few minutes. Do you think this would be down to simply not practicing enough? or would it be a bollox to play with barre chords in general?

    • @JustinGuitarSongs

      +Matt pick guard? maybe, i guess so. I cover mine in velcro or felt to stop my fake nails tapping on it!

      +JustinGuitar Songs Thank you!

    • @emmawebber9438
      @emmawebber9438 9 лет назад +1

      +Matt Hi Matt, like Justin, I assume you're refering to the pick guard/scratch plate. They are there for a reason, as it does stop you from ruining the gloss finish on the top of the guitar, and if you do remove it, then be aware that the glue used to place it there may take off a portion of the finish too, leaving an ugly mess.
      However, there are plenty of accoustic guitars out there which do not have guards to start with, so have a good look around first, and most importantly, try the guitar before you buy it. You need to be happy and comfortable with the feel and tone of your instrument. Best wishes :-)

    Hi Justin
    Very good lesson but it's a bit misleading to say that the chords are C, G, Am, F. Seeing as how you have the capo on the 4th fret and you are in standard tuning, surely it should be E, B, Dbm, A but played in C position?

    • @JustinGuitarSongs
      @JustinGuitarSongs  Год назад

      Sorry you're confused by it. It simply involves fretting both E strings at fret 3 using 3rd and 4th fingers. 2nd finger can mute the A string (or fret it at fret 2). 1st finger is not used. It is fully taught in Module 10 here: www.justinguitar.com/guitar-lessons/weak-finger-g-bg-1001
