Junna is the human version of Animal (the drummer in the band) from "The Muppet Show"!
Junna made this drum cover right around the time she left her band, Girls Rock Band Kakumei or GRBK for short. The band found another great drummer and changed their name to Trident. Junna's last MV with the group is called Voltage, which showcases her skill. GRBK/Trident has been my 2nd favorite J-rock band, behind Band-Maid, who also rocks and has a great drummer, Akane. My favorite songs from GRBK with Junna are Utopia, Voltage and Runner's High (no MV). If you ever get a chance to hear it, Junna goes absolutely crazy in Runner's High.
I believe that little clip in the corner of her drinking water is from the actual DF video so she was parodying that bit, too.
Gee Anzalone the drummer for Dragon Force says this is his favorite cover! He has a reaction video out of him watching Junna check it out.
She recently did a Judas Priest Painkiller cover… definitely worth checking out.
The water bottle is her spoofing the original, where one of the members gets a drink like that.

Junna is around 26 by now (don't confuse her with the Japanese singer Junna) and started playing drums with 15. So she is really talented, right? She is pretty well known in Japan, has solo gigs and right now plays as a freelancer. Before she played in band but left for "unknown reasons" - the band now is called "Trident" with a new drummer. The easiest way to learn more about her amazing skills is: simply go to her RUclips page and check her videos out! Lot's of really entertaining stuff; her latest is a cover of Judas Priest "painkiller" and that's a "killer" too!
Yes, some information complement;: she was 23 at the time of this video recording (therefore playing for 8 years). Her former band name was GRBK (Girl Rock Band Kakumei) with her fellow schoolmates Asaka and Serina, you can check the tiltle "Voltage" to see Junna performing with the band. About her departure she said in interview she wanted to broaden her horizon as a drummer (so she's been active as a support drummer for a few bands since) and also that she really wanted to do one-man show drum performances (as you can see in the cited "painkiller" song scene excerpts).
Whar's striking me even more about these performances and the 200% energy release, is that she's far from being an extrovert, on the contrary in the numerous GRBK's channel vlogs they did prior to Trident (unfortunately now all gone to oblivion...) she was always quite discret, being the one talking the less in the video (for her defence Asaka is a big talker...), yet put her behind a kit and the demon awakens !
She left the band because everyone was telling her to. She was with them for 7 years and the other two members really were not professionally developing well. They did okay on the instruments but the vocals, and I agree if you watch the live, the vocals are really really in need of professional development.

The energy in this is crazy. My son is a drummer also so Ive seen this a few times. There's a video of Dragon Forces drummer reacting to this and its awesome. I'm not sure when this was performed but I think she was born in 2000. My son has met and had a few drum lessons from Luke Holland. He met him and a bunch of people on a couple of the warped tours some years back. Great reaction.
She's 26... You Googled wrong Junna.
Very common mistake. See Rainer Siewers comments, they are accurate. Seen different estimates. I researched a lot and couldn't pin down exact year. She is most likely 26 but might be 25. I was able to verify date which is 8/26 either 1996 or 1997. So her birthday is in 2 weeks to be 25 or 26.

She's done a few different covers. She did one by baby metal but thats only like 2 minutes of the song. She did another one by Dragon Force Ashes of the Dawn I believe and that one is even more impressive in my opinion but you really can't go wrong with any of her videos man.
She was 20 years old when she did this video. She didn't start playing drums until she was 15, but she was originally in charge of percussion in a brass band before that, so she must have been a good rhythmically player, before she started whit the drums :)

If you watch Trident you have to watch their studio mastered stuff, because if you run into one of the videos of them live without editing the vocals sound like my cat being dragged around the yard by its tail
Her live performances are just like this. She's freakin' awesome! In one of her covers she is smashing the drums so hard you see a bolt fall off on the floor. If you want to see something really funny, watch what JUNNA does with her sticks at the end of this video... . Watch what she does with her sticks! They were either on fire or simply of no use to her any longer. Very Funny! I have dubbed her MOST ENTERTAINING drummer in the world. I never get any argument, go figure! Some say she is just wild, not recognizing that her execution is flawless. Guy (DragonForce Drummer) did a reaction of this. Had a smile on his face the whole time like a proud father, proclaiming this is the best cover of the song he has ever seen! She has been in several bands. Not sure if it's true, but some say she was maybe asked to leave "Trident" because she either overpowered the band with her drums or stole the show with her theatrics. I truly believe it is not so much an act as just how she feels when she plays. I think she would do this in a room all by herself.

Anyone who says "what is she doing?" at the Juuna water break hasn't seen the DF official video of this song, which is really surprising that a reactor to this hasn't seen that.

She's not a kid man... You never heard of Junna????.. She started to play drums at her 15 and now she's 26. She was one of four members of girls rock band Kukumei, now Trident but she left few years ago.. Junna is just on another level of drumming and she is a great showman. You are looking at maybe the best drummer in Japan. Also she's in cosplay so that's why she looks like that.. Stamina and power is incredible in that little Japanese girl with pigtails. Love that girl. 😁❤️
