She did🫶🏽. But Ye would of made it No matter 💯. Would of found another way or person . He was and still is driven by the art, visions and genius thoughts that probably play constantly in his mind. He is Not always Right or the best .. communicator , sometimes his mouth blurts out faster than he can put his thoughts together 🤷🏽♀️.But Ye does Not deserve what hollyweird is doing to him👎🏽🤮😡. They are just proving his point🤷🏽♀️.
If I made any mistakes or didn't cover certain things, feel free to correct me in the comments and I'll pin them. Some of the songs had to be taken out/altered in order to fit in with RUclips's bs copyright rules. I don't care about the money that this video makes but what I do care about is that people see the video. Also, sorry that it's 720p. I'll be sure to make it 1080p in my future videos.
Great video, appreciate your work. I would like to share from my perspective as someone who is 2 years younger than Kanye and grew up in Detroit. Kanye's fashion back in the late 90's, early 2000's was not cutting edge or headed of the time. Before we ever knew of Kanye we were rocking polo's, khakis, dope sweaters, and button ups. Not to mention Rockport boots, Nautica jackets, shirts etc. I have pics while in high school during 93-97 with all of the above clothes on. This was all pre Kanye. He saw that particular style well represented in the hood and brought it to the world.
First off I just want to say you did an incredible job on making this Kanye Documentary. The editing, the narration, well paced and just wow. With that said, I'm so confused. Why does this video only have a few hundred views and 4 comments. You must have put so much work into this, Not to mention how well informed you are. I'm truly speechless.
When you said Graduation, it's when the beat drops in a hit song. Thank you very much, I'm enjoying this and this is a turn on for me since I'm literally about to do some artwork. I appreciate you👏🏾
I was actually really surprised that this video has so little views. In my opinion it deserves more. If you ask me ur a professional and the content is fucking great. Keep up the good work!!!
The media turned against Kanye for stepping out of line. They use to beat you when a slave ran off the plantation now if one leaves the Left just destroys your life. God bless Kanye.

@@adoriaanneise2393.... Definitely not true. We were hip hop, we lived and breathed it. Who do you think influenced our style? This is what people wore everyday. I also Echo what John Bloom said, Wu Tang was rockin all that too. And please check out the Lo-Life crew. Their whole crew was all about Polo. Polo everything!
This documentary is grossly underrated and should get more views. As someone who has been listening to Kanye since the beginning, I can confirm that you have your information on point, sir. Especially with the sneakers. Well done.
Glad that youtube recommended this to me! Was a bit skeptical that I'd learn something I didn't already know but I actually did so kudos to you and your research!
Damn Virgil’s vision was just about to be realized! He finally got handed the keys not given to outsiders. At least he got to experience the good in life and inspired while he was here
Great video man, but I think that there could've been more elaboration on his overall influence on fashion. For example, his longtime friendship with Demna Gvasalia, who worked at Margiela, allowed him to wear the Margiela Masks on his Yeezus tour, and continued to support Demna through his work at Vetements and now Balenciaga. There was also a period between Yeezus and TLOP that would heavily influence the state of fashion when he was almost exclusively wearing Haider Ackermann or Jerry Lorenzo's Fear of God pieces. Maybe all this information is too much to cover but I think that there could've been more content covered on his connections in high fashion rather than streetwear.
also how if it wasn't for his ex Alexis he would have never been into high fashion or want to go to PFW since she convinced him to take her when they were together.
In the 90s the GAP clothing line was also close to hip hop with both LL Cool J saying Fubu on gap commercial and Run DMC. I was wearing gap hoodie and baggy khakis.
Great video overall, you did a really really good job. I'm only 20 minutes in but only corrections I've seen so far is that the Polo trend in Hip Hop was already a thing in the early 90s, due to the Lo Life movement happening in New York along with the cover of Only Built for Cuban Lynx. Also Curren$y was also one of the first rappers to wear Bape, and Biggie rocked it as well.
Bro, I was looking for this comment. I commented something similar. I grew up in Detroit. We were rocking polos, khakis, sweaters and button ups way before Ye. The Nautica jackets and all that!
Kanye is multifaceted and is amazing at anything he does (art, music, fashion etc). The small amount of views on such an incredible documentary shows that no one wants to give Kanye his just due and respect his genius and the fact that he believed in himself and far surpassed all of the doubt people had about his ideas. This is a phenomenal movie! Well out together and pays good homage to the greatness of Kanye West.
Kanye brought hoodwear to the world in the most impactful way. Not only did he inspire an entire generation but he really has left his hand print in high fashion ever since he got to that level. He's partially the reason why streetwear and high end fashion have almost become one in the same.
Wait wtf, I watched most of the video and I wanted to subscribe and I didn't even notice how many views and subs u have. This video is made very well and it deserves more views.

appreciate the video as an overview of it all but so many things feel left out. like landmark outfits that broke the internet and other interactions through his clothing. for example the RIOT RIPT RIOT bomber jacket, that sold for 50,000 dollars after he wore it, and smaller things like the unreleased yhandi merch and the many unreleased Yeezus tour items
Like any of us into fashion Ye experimented, and like us all sometimes got it wrong, but you can't perfect if you don't try. Like his music he grows trying to to be the best, not settling like most.
Disappointed how all you did was make incredibly surface level observations on his designs, focusing more on how rare or expensive his shoes and clothes are instead of how outsider looking his designs are. Pretty sure any Kanye fan already knows all of this stuff.
i think the most important factor to his evolving fashion would be his ex fiancé Alexis who introduced him to designers & nyfw
Yes 👏🏿 you are right , gurl! She took him to Paris fashion show.
Who is Alexis?! Last name please~
@@marilamar821 @AlexisPhifer !
She definitely pushed him further down the fashion lane but Kanye has been making sketches of his own different versions on Jordan’s in elementary

I agree because my mom would dress me in those clothes as kid. Remember wearing the GAP also.
The rappers weren't wearing the style at the time.
Not true see Rae and Ghost. Polo has been a staple in the hood and I’m Music since the 80’s.

Facts. It was the generation generation. He had a platform and was able to display

If anyone's curious, the original and edited artwork for the album, "My Dark Twisted Fantasy" was created by artist George Condo.
Hey dude, now's the time, you're getting picked up by the algorithm. I would love to see you up there :) Hope you continue soon!
Virgil passing makes this hit harder, amazing video man
I feel back in that time kanye was ahead of his time with fashion
Kanye is ahead of his time with fashion
he still is
‘years ahead but way behind’
