Thanks for that wonderful tutorial. I think I'll give it a try. I always found drawing peonies kind of overwhelming with all those beautiful petals and I never seem to do them any justice with my drawing. Now I think with your tutorial it will definitely improve my peonies. Thanks again.

Very helpful!! I like to water-colour paint and when I was trying to learn how to paint a peony it didn't work out. Now I understand that it is probably because I didn't understand how the flower went together. Thank you for this and for making it so easy to follow.

Hi Becca, I really love drawing flowers but it's very difficult for me but today with this tutorial I finally draw a beautiful peony. I have two questions: 1. How can I put 4 or 5 peony together? 2. Can you make a tutorial for drawing a rose? Sorry for my English, I'm Italian and I'm not so good to write in English.

First, let me say that I enjoy your videos. Second, this is a lovely depiction of a flower and I appreciate your step-by-step instruction. That said, not meaning to be negative, I am a horticulturist, and I've got to say, no peony that I've ever seen has petals that fold or curve downward. Even the peonies with just one or two "tiers" of petals, the petals are all cupped upward. If you refer back to your own photos of peonies AND to your video with Meghan Davey, nowhere does it show a petal folding back on itself. Just saying. Still, let me reiterate that I appreciate your talent and your tutelage. Don't stop doing what you're doing. I'm just meaning to be a correction and not and negative nellie.
