He could've just said 'thank you sir' and graciously accepted the sandwich
That's the joke.
I think it was kind of a “teaching moment “
I think the irony here is that only Paul saw the man serving sandwiches as undignified. He was a man wanting to do his job then you came along and labelled it as 'undignified'.
And while it's not always the case sometimes you are actually treated & paid better as a service worker at higher end places. You can get great tips!
as a worker in the food i feel for the server, he really can't serve any of that food anymore.
I remember at my old job we served like soup and sandwich type stuff and people would try to hand me back things they didn't use like "Oh I didn't use this butter you can have it back." And it's like.....thanks? I'm going to throw this into the garbage because once it crosses the counter I CAN'T use it. I have no idea what you did with it, for all I know you didn't wash your hands after going to the washroom, or picked your nose right before you touched that patty of butter
@@SjofnBM1989 happen to me once, I think it was rice? i had to throw it away even if it was unconsumed, dont know where your hands has been.
Who says serving is not dignified? Some people try too hard to be "nice".
We call them SJWs now
And this ladies and gentlemen is what you would call ✨white savior mentality✨
That suck he dose Realize that they’re not slaves and that they’re getting money for that right
As a server, also worked in a golf club, this type of guests are the worst. They are the one who are actually disrespectful and belittling. Most members are super nice and treat the staff with respect, however the talking happens at the tables not while I am walking around trying to finish the food or drinks on my tray.
poor bow everyone in her life was at there extremes.....
Bow's 1st observance about her grandfather and his rich white friends really remind me of Bridget Jones's accounts of her mother and her parents friends.
Paul that dude is doing a job and he's probably trying to get some references. Kind of like on dirty dancing and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
When helping isn’t helping 😂😂😂😂
This reminds me so much of my barista days. People thought they were being nice and "humanizing" us by striking up a conversion with us but it's like it is 8:30 in the morning, we are getting absolutely slammed, I don't have time to talk to you, I don't need your sympathy chat please just take your drink and leave.
SB W I remember those days. If you want to be kind to a service worker who is busy, smile, say thank you, and move on quickly!
My personal favorite way to humanize servers is tipping when I can. I honestly only see it as fair if you have to make my mocha Frappa bullshit at 7 am
I honest to god understand why guest feel guilty and try to do more but they sometimes end up messing things up without knowing it and I feel both bad and annoyed af that feeling needs a name
*Lib-berated?* (A portmanteau of "liberated" and "berated.")
I just came up with that myself. I'm a gat dam genius.
I also know what to call the ppl who do this kind of thing:
- *hippy-crite* (hippy/ hypocrite).
And then there are *hypo-Christians* (hypocrite/ Christian), but that's another story.
I can't claim to have coined those last two words. I'd heard them before.
I'm liberal, but I try not to be THAT kind of liberal. The first step is admitting you have a problem! 😉
They do know that we get pay to do this shit, right 😂
I agree even thought I don’t work for this job
Bow's Daddy is so annoyingly cute. I kinda get why she married Dre.
Ms. R, I know...he’s damn stupid and cute.
There is dignity in serving people. Do not try to belittle someone else because you could not do it. It is how we treat the people that serve us. I hate humans now, every body wants to be rich. Well you can't someone has to be school teachers, bakers and gardeners. And these people are dignified and needed. Unlike another Elon Musk, or Zuck.
Elon musk is good
This show is actually pretty amazing and hilarious!
As a pizza driver, aka a SERVANT, I take dignity in two things. 1) at least I'm not delivering drugs shoving them up my 🍑. And 2) I can drive how I want, listening to my music, and don't have to wear an itchy hat all the time.
While not saying thank you is kinda rude. He's the one that showed his ass and ruined the guys work flow. He probably didn't care that much about them not saying thank you. Also saying he has no dignity is rude beyond belief.
The worst thing that would happen to me would be when the guests would legit throw their used napkins/garbage on the plate while I was still serving others -.-. People can legit be jerks...
I would fail horribly at the name thing! Over the years I’ve had to trick people into revealing their names after spending years not knowing it.
Not one girl or man should have all that... power !!are raaahh.ahhhh.cr$#@
Is this the only Asian character ?
Probably so considering how american media is
@@tired690
I just find it funny how Blackish has 0 Asian character, Mixedish has 1 Asian character and Fresh of the boat has 1 black character 😁
kenneth parcel reborn as an asian
Now Parents are the quality I hate in bow 😂. Overly self-righteous to the point of being disrespectful
i hate this show, but i love these actors
Fuck you
Yes
The Dude needs to grow up. Zzzzz sloppy hair, still thinks hes in the 60s
This show was set in the 80s
Interesting that the mom seemed to be better at adjusting then he did. He was mentally still stuck at the commune. Partly I think a reflection of being a white guy. How you dress is not judged nearly as much.
The aunt is so ghetto. She cant go to a nice establishment and have manners. Just because you black doesn't mean you have to be rude and have horrible table manners. Smh
I am white and I absolutely hate bad table manners. My Grandma and Ma have always told me to have good table manners.
Maybe her dad could grow up, show respect, dress decently . Zzzzz grown men passed their due date.
