“What I can say, is that he loved us and he tried.” -Rainbow ... That was beautiful and so simple but well written.
That's what I say about my grandparents from my white side. They loved us and they did try
I really hope this show doesn’t get canceled because it’s addressing all these really important issues in a relatable way
I totally agree.
Not really.... but it does have it's moment
Those really important issues may be the very reason it could be cancelled
If blackish didn’t get canceled I think this show will survive
@@randomuser2409 black-ish pulls MUCH higher ratings than mixed-ish. I can definitely see a scenario where black-ish stays but mixed-ish goes.
My great uncle was against my parents marrying. He didnt come to the wedding and it was held his own back yard. But when he held me, hung out with me, he changed. He loved me, became my best friend and taught me how to accept myself for who I am (autistic) people can grow, change and rainbow said, try.
I just finished this episode. I gotta say, I did understand what the grandfather meant at the club, and that it wasn't immediately apparent those were his family members. And the fact he wanted to bring them into his world does show he loves them and wants them to share in the things he cares about. But it was good the whole experience opened his eyes to what they can (and will) go through and got him to reasses his values.
Gary Cole: Such an under-rated actor. He's brilliant.
He sure is!
Facts
And so very hot.
@@bosempuchane5631 Can’t argue with that. 👍
Yes he is, and very handsome
"You can rub elbows with those people and pretend you don't know what they're really thinking, but I don't have that luxury, because my kids are brown. My wife is Black, my life is different." Truest and best part of the whole thing!
Lmao, ‘I did make the change from a jaguar to a Ferrari’
"I have a Ferrari."
"Yeah, we know."
Mark-Paul, 😍😍. Such a great actor. I’ve loved every show he’s done, especially Franklin and Bash.
I've watched this TV show and his dad really, really loves his grands...
Do you know why I like this show.
Because.
The rich white guy isn't the bad guy.
He loves his family and wants to give them a good live.
That's how it usually is. If the grand-dad wants to be a part of his grand-kids' lives, he isn't the kind of person who holds prejudice against them.
when the Mexican version of this show coming out Span-ish 🤣
LMAOOO
Jeremy Ibu then it would be from de country Spain not mexico
@@jackiebeflo7428 But to be fair, that means they could be a little bit Spanish, it still works XD
Lois mexican cultures and Spanish culture are very diferent , i will have to be something like mexican-ish or something like that, black is a race or a culture so i get it but , spanish is a lenguage or citizenship from europe very diferent
Stop
Heartfelt scene. I love the Grandad!
I love the grandpa he really did love his family❤
Spoiler! He gave up the club for his grand kids
I love this show
tears welling up
Lol that feeling when you're honest and share a vulnerable moment but immediately regret it is such a mood.
Nice job 👍
The dad sounds exactly like Sully from Uncharted
I like Paul way more than I like Zack
How old Harrison in this show?
I cant believe its zack
Wait was Paul defending Dee?
Also does the series touch on his mom and why she's not there?
1. yes he was and 2. we don't know yet
@@jordanwright2072 Dee? She can't stand him and she criticizes his wife!
Would be nice
@@jessicavictoriacarrillo7254 why would she criticize her?
@@jordanwright2072 Not being "black enough" or "boujee"
@@jessicavictoriacarrillo7254 oh, you mean her sister?
He should have said he doesn’t understand his son life but he should try
😂😂😂
Team good friend I have
To be honest, Paul chose that interracial lifestyle life and therefore, he chose the natural consequences and challenges that comes along with it. Paul has nobody to blame but himself.
That was odd when the father said: "My kids are brown." They don't have brown skin.
well do they have white skin like him?
Of course they have brown skin. And so does their mother. Cafe con leche is brown sweetheart just like dark chocolate is brown. The world is mostly brown.
brown as in skin tone, because it is a brown skin tone, black as in race.
@@mcSpicyChicken Not exactly like him (obviously) but they have light skin and especially the youngest daughter.
@@lf1496 Lol.
The mother does have brown skin, but not the kids.
There's nothing wrong with us black people being true to ourselves. I see nothing wrong with ordering fried chicken or watermelon when we're around white people. However, I hate that this show seems biased and doesn't address the ish black people do! We need to not talk so damn loudly when we're out in public. No one wants to hear your conversation! Dee Dee was way too loud at that country club. She wanted to make a scene and embarrass Alicia (and herself). She was wrong for that! That kind of behavior is never okay in public, no matter what ethnic group you're around!
Anonymous Person My mom always said when you are in public display the best manners because a person's education may not be the best, but what makes a great person is good manners and a conscientious demeanor.
Agreed. Mostly what she was doing was considered to be bad table manners not acting black
@@rustyrelicsfarm2406 In Mexican culture, bad-mannered people would often be called uneducated. Probably because your education doesn't stop and in end at school
So Grandpa and Dee are up against *boxing bell*
@@rustyrelicsfarm2406 - Exactly!
This dialogue couldn't sound more inauthentic
