Came out to be a super long video because each combo is so darn long. If this was pioneer, expect comboes to take twice as long, and you might not even be able to beat the timer. I've seen multiple players that couldn't beat the timer while I went on a bathroom break 😔. Also watch the fluff section so you don't make that mistake. Currently, the game just randomly decides when you can consign and when you can't consign unless you hold full control. I couldn't even consign goblin bombardment trigger in one game.
21:26 Holding the card up also makes you draw faster. I did that a bunch when I played Song of Creation Grapeshot combo that also used Underworld Breach.
Feels like the spells version of Vadrok-Goldspan combo but without creatures (I think this mainly was a spell looping deck for Standard and Pioneer never saw this combo. Goldspan generates mana for you as you keep targeting but it doesn’t have a true storm spell in the list.) I prefer Cauldron Familiar kind of combos that feel more linear or you when you can shortcut the combo in paper. Whereas when convoluted storm feels a lot of work with little pay off; its draining to play regularly. Nice to know Lotus field doesn’t have its only home in control/midrange lists.
58:11 isnt it still winnable? just let hidden string resolve on the bottom of the stack and untap lands for red mana to play another breach you just drew?
Another sweet clip man! Love it... would be cool if you talked about how meta the deck is. I have no basis for how much power i am seeing because i dont play historic!
Unrelated: Faithless Looting is legal again in Modern. Shocker I know. Do you see any combo / midrange decks coming out from this? WotC mentioned midrange Phoenix might be a thing; no idea what that would even look like lol.
probably just phoenix, dredge, and hollow one. Other than that, I don't think looting will make that much of an impact, since they'll realize bowmaster is in the format lol.
I’ve been trying to build breach combo for a while and I feel now that Rona + mox + channeler + now available retraction helix is the way to go as you can get infinite mana and surveil to get your fae of wishes. Curious to give this one a go though if you think it’s worth crafting the minds desires
I really liked this version. You can try just 1 of mind's desire for now, but it makes combo so smooth. I've won few games off of tapping out into mind's desire and hitting pore over the pages or hidden strings.

You should make more videos on the locus cards because they’re really interesting
Goblin Bombardment is not a trigger, it's an activated ability. You can stifle it but not consign.
I have a feeling Lotus Field Combo is going to shoot to the bottom of those “Did you have fun this match?” ratings.
58:16 Am I missing something here? Hidden strings is still on the stack so you should be fine.
Yeah I think he was still good. He was going to untap both lands then he could play the new Breach from hand
i'm so dumb i missed that 😂

Do you play this in best of 3 cause you can have more Wish targets or this deck in best of 1 is good enough?
you can 100% play this in BO1, but I enjoy BO3 more so I decided to play it here.
your g1 op's deck looks really cool.
This deck looks atrocious to play against. So much waiting for ur op

wp greenwire
no twiddle in arena 😢
🥲
What a horrible deck to play against.
What a horrible deck to play as
brain freeze, heartbeat of spring, early havest, cunning wish, geez, just not to give these tools in mtg arena :/
This deck is not that good, much better combo decks in historic. I'd say don't waste your time.
