Actually I am building what I call a pocket Gym. I already build my power tower and I was thinking of buying a Rogue squat rack around the power tower and add the trolley arms on the uprights of the squat rack to do bench ect. I have a very limited space. Debating between the monster or the monster light.

Thanks....Yep... that's pretty much where I was at for the longest before actually purchasing....I especially like the looks of them on the outside of the rack...but functionally they made more sense to me to be on the inside... hence why I went with the shorter arms
I actually wouldn't say "better".....I find them to be easier to know exactly where your arm will sit due to they are solid/don't sag like a strap does....that being said.....in some instances, straps are easier to adjust while using the arms vs flip downs!!.... it's really a toss up/personal preference!
Biggest reason now is I need a stiff safety to use with my trolley arms....before getting the arms ...my main issue is I tend to rest several bars at once on my safeties depending on what exercises I'm performing... with straps, all the bars roll/hang down in the center.... nothing at all wrong with straps...and both options are far better than pin/pipe in my opinion... just for me and my way of doing things...the flip down safeties fit the bill

Isn't it!!??... It's solid for sure... even almost looks like a Rogue product or something with the semi textured black powdercoating they use! Be sure to grab the correct one...it's confusing, but they offer a few different versions with various weight limits (a couple were actually the same price surprisingly!)

Are u using the sling lat rogue attachment for the lat pull downs? Also if you were to attach the arms outside rack, you would of bought the longer ones?? Iam thinking about selling my 3x3 prx wall squat and get another wall rack just so I can use the rogue leverage arms or maybe the rep fitness iso arms.
I am using the Rogue Slinger for lat pull downs! As far as the arms, I'd still go short even on the outside (the long just look way too long in my opinion!!!)
Pretty much. I personally use my extra portion for all kinds of storage (I've added a shelf to serve as a catch-all, a bar hanger, I store my lever handles in that section, as well as my weights). You could also keep it empty and use it basically as a 2nd rack (have two bars set up).
I like your setup, I just recently bought a rm4 which I converted to a rm-6. I have the lever system but haven't installed it yet. I was about to install it outside of the rack but after seeing your setup, I might just go for the inside. Have you tried the front, if so how did you like it?

Rogue actually used to sell FIXED lever arms.... which is probably what you want... however...they disappeared from their site a few months back....not sure why..but maybe you can call and special order them still??? I'm not sure if the exact price difference..but there definitely was one!!!

Absolutely not imperative!!! ..I enjoy it and wouldn't have settled for anything less (obviously I didn't..lol)...but that's just me... everyone's needs are so different!!! I myself find a 6 post setup incredibly convenient...but again... some people don't have the room or prefer solely using weight tree storage. As far as a rhino or ghd instead....lol... that's a tough one man!!!.... either of those would technically be more "fun" than a rack add on....lol... it's too hard to say man!!!

While I contemplating purchasing the shrimp trolley at one time...I chose to not to due to a lack of space (rack and floor space).... however...I will say that when I was considering it, I reached out to Rogue and they were pretty adamant about the rack having to be bolted down in order to install/safely use.... which makes total sense.... something to consider.....I appreciate your envy....lol... having the ability to add so much definitely allows for more creativity!
I have the shrimp trawler. It does slide the racks bit even if you have weights on it. I didn’t have any concerns about it tipping even with all the movements. But I have the rack on a wood surface and not a horse stall mat. I don’t have a punching bag mounted as I use it for my daughter’s swing while I workout. Do expect noise like grinding as the clip/hole part is metal on metal. I did end up bolting the rack to the wood floor Bc of the sliding
@@P3ak930 NP buddy. If you decide to get it and really don’t want to install it to the floor, I would put the extra weight on the most opposite part of the rack. My twaler is on the right back upright so I would put more weight plates on the left front upright as I did notice that was the part that seems to move the most & farthest.
I personally can't feel a difference...you can adjust the angle of the arm to increase/lessen the resistance...but the overall feel of the movement is great! The main advantage to setting it up this way is loading/unloading is quite a bit easier using the arm as opposed to using the weight plate attachment Rogue offers.

@@Watertownchiro No problem!...for me...I personally knew Rogue would be an easy choice simply due to I know their quality...everything they make is top notch/over built, they are an American company (if that matters to you) and their customer service if fantastic....that being said....Rep Fitness is cheaper! (they were considerably cheaper at the time of my purchase, I think they have gone up since...so not quite sure how their prices compare to Rogue now)...I strongly considered Rep (I've heard nothing but great things and I have two of their benches and have nothing but good things to say about them!!)......all that being said....at the time of my purchase...Rep had NOTHING in stock...Rogue did...lol...that's pretty much what pushed me to just purchasing Rogue and going on (I was still limited on what I could pick with Rogue due to they were extremely low on stock)....I don't think you will go wrong with either...just keep in mind...Rep cosmetically won't be as "pretty" and they use 2.95x2.95 inch uprights/crossmembers....so if you plan on using anything Rogue on a Rep rack...attachments might fit slightly loose.

I posed this question to ROGUE and got a vague response, maybe you can help me. With the LT-1 Trolley Arms on the front posts of the rack, does the cable of your Slinger clear them? Basically I want to purchase the trolley arms and slinger, but don’t want to have to remove one arm every time I want to use slinger.
So.... basically the furthest portion of the trolley sticks out about 5.5 inches from the upright.....the slinger pulley/cable drop is about 6.5 inches away from the upright...so...in theory...it would work!
