Sorry for the re-upload!!!! I wanted to add some additional footage in order to do the rack justice!!!! Obviously I lost all likes/comments from the previous video...so....feel free to like/comment again!!! lol. I hope you enjoy!
I think that you wanted to build something that no one else has. and I like that. At this point of the game the power rack becomes personal and I know that you are proud of yours. The bigger the better this is America. I enjoyed the video. Very entertaining.
No denying that!!! I originally only wanted a single upright so that I could branch off the side of the rack (for my cable movements)....but then I discovered Rogue only sells uprights in pairs! .....the rest is history!!! .... THE MEGA MONSTER RACK WAS BORN!!!....lol...I appreciate ya watching/glad you enjoyed it!!
@4:27 Facts! I need all setups to be fast and super convenient or I’m not doing it! I’m willing to overpay for equipment if it means things will be easy.
Huuuuuuuuuuge! Man this thing is a beauty, very organized too (love that all plate/barbell/chain storage are in the rear section of the rack, middle section for trolley arms, and front section for slinger!)
Thank you!!! That was the idea.. make it as functional as possible!!!.. Definitely the best setup for my personal needs! Appreciate the compliments and you for watching!!!
Love it! When I bought my RM-6 I took a gamble and ordered the Monster Lite wall mount since I'm not able to secure my rack to the floor (heated slab and don't wanna drill into the tubes). Monster Lite worked just fine, drilled the holes out to 1" and bought my hardware locally.
Excellent!!! You're welcome man, glad I could help!! Check out my newest vid, as I have reconfigured the rack once again!!! lol. (I'm very indecisive...but I also enjoy trying out new things to give everyone ideas!)
Thx for your reviews and just subscribed! Received RM6 and I’m blown away. Found your suggestions very helpful such as rogue sign cross member in the back against the wall, chin up in the middle and an extra cross member in the front. Put j cups for squats in the middle facing wall mirror. Put 35” trolley arms on outside post inside the rack facing mirror. Works great. Lastly, seems like guys go out of the way to make cable lat / row easy to use and set up. Rogue slinger seems less than optimal and their other offering is too heavy and expensive. Personally I just use a stand alone plate loaded cable machine. Set up and ready to go. Problem is this old Body Solid looks wimpy compared to my RM6. Looking to upgrade. Here’s a couple commercial grade options for less than $1K made out of 11 gauge steel. Might want to check these companies out. Great prices and reviews. Wilder Fitness Crandall Fitness Both have top and bottom cables ready to pull. Zero set up time Thx again dude!
Thank you so much! Glad you're enjoying it! You should TOTALLY convert it to at least an RM-6!!!....if possible obviously...lol....I personally love the extra room/storage you gain just by having another section of rack!
I thought me turning my rm-4 into a rm-6 was a big boy move but an rm-8?! (Mega monster rack) . Coop has to visit your garage. Good stuff bro!! I have a rogue belt squat.. I'm a really thinking of getting an 8 post for my belt squat.
@@blakeogeris2494 lol .."big boy move".... 😂...I love it!!!!.... how you liking the Rhino?? Seriously debating on adding one to the back of my setup.... still on the fence though...Coop visiting the gym would be pretty cool...not gonna lie!!!..lol....I appreciate you watching!!!!
Wow. Very bold. So I’m awaiting my RM6 with trolley arms. I have the short arms coming and wondering how you would recommend setting this up facing a wall with a mirror. Was think of installing trolley arms on posts furthest from the wall inside the 4 ft section so you would be facing the mirror for military or incline. Then the J cups on the middle post to squat facing the mirror. This leaves the back 2 foot section. Other than weight storage, what would be good? I have seen where some flare out the 2 foot sections on both sides for weight trees - rack in a “T” shape. Just looking for ideas and knowledge before I install
sorry it's taking me so long to reply!!!!....lol..what can I say?...I'm a bold guy!!! lol...not really.....they set up you're thinking about going with sounds like it would work/look nice!!! I'd be anxious to see it/hear how it works!!!
I'm gonna do the same thing but throw another 16" extension off the back for iso arms/spotter arms. 8 post, 30" to 16" to 16" Swinging arms in the back, slinging plates in the front. The homegym mullet
I highly recommend just adding what you want to a Rogue cart and reaching out to Rogue for a quote on uprights (I say this because everything has only increased since I placed my order!!)
Pleeeeease provide us with a file somehow for the parts to build such a cage, with all accessory it is amazing, I am from Europe so feel free to give an affiliate link for rogue Europe too.
lol..I may need to do a complete breakdown of my rack with all the attachments I have!! Do you have IG?...if so, message me on there and I'll be glad to share with you if you don't want to wait on a video. Thanks for watching!
Do you use the curl pull up bar? Or do you favor the crown? I bought a BY pull up curl bar to use as a cable attachment. Since I prefer cables for arm work.
I do use the curl pull-up bar...but not as much as I initially thought I would...I'm actually replacing it in the next few weeks with the rotating pull-up bar Rogue offers....I'll get WAY more use out of it!
Uprights shipped to me were $387 ...all crossmembers shipped were $297... obviously this number will change depending on the dimensions you go with and your location.
There's multiple signs of someone who's lost their mind here. One, this rack, two, consistently posing on youtube. I think we both know I can relate to too much home gym and a channel.
the back section is unused... if it was flipped 180 or pulled off the wall, u could do everything u are doing on the other side and only need the original 6 posts...

A year later, this is still - by far - the greatest and most valuable rack I have seen in 60 years. It's a masterpiece! 💯💯💯

Awesome! Thank you!
Nice idea, I’ve considered of adding 2 more uprights and another set of 30 inch crossmembers for RM4.
