Couldn't help but to laugh at you and your shoes. Anyone that's ever farmed has been there. "It want be too muddy, I will be careful, I don't have time to go get my boots" and on and on. I know what your saying about the cooler weather, we had some days here in the midwest that was a little cool and the wife threatened to build a fire in the fireplace. The older you get the less you can handle the cold, especially after you get in your sixties. It's always nice to get a project done, like the barn repurposed, coming along for the next change. ☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 I just had to say I couldn’t agree more with you on your farming “mantra” stay fluid. You HAVE to be able to adjust ANYTHING on your farm to succeed. Farming is a continuous learning & adapting , farmers are the biggest gamblers on the planet. We put 100s if not 1000s of our livelihood in the ground & on the hoof & pray every year our hard work& planning will pay off, 1 bad year can take a farm down. Ty Pete 4 showing how just staying calm , use what u have, think it thru walk away think again then do it works best for 90% of small farmers. Blessings

Hi Pete, My Grandparents had a dairy farm. I worked weekends on it for many years. When I was young, I thought who would want to work this hard. As I got older, the place became a part of me. I enjoy your stories. They bring back very happy memories. When I get home from work, I watch two, three, or more of your stories while I eat dinner.
