Regarding the wheel hub: new hubs are affordably priced, so I will just replace the hub rather than repairing the bolt holes.
Ahhh...I was thinking that as you were explaining how to fix them. Also, I'm sure glad you're feeling better, Pete. We missed you, buddy.
Pete ,what does it cost to have a cow butchered? Approx? Looking to get into raising a small herd myself. Thanks
Thought farmers didn't take holidays? Haha glad you're feeling better!
Cheers from Canada
The “knee” bushings there are called king pins and bushings, I have also seen the steering arms for around $150-$200 a side if you wanted to go that route to solve the wallowed out tie rod end connection. As always keep up the great work, hope you get over your illness speedy!
What ever happened to your kitty 🐈⬛?
If I were a rooster on the farm named "Stew," I'd keep my beak shut and be a GOOD rooster.
Glad you're feeling better, Pete. Thanks for the trip around the farm.
I like Ordon, he just sounds like a grumpy old man just grumbling all the time. He's my favorite.
Thanks Pete glad you're feeling better
Love that comment about how the raised lettering on the tires makes them last twice as long.
And also adds at least 15% more horsepower!
So you are back mate hope you’re feeling much better then what you were god bless you all.
Great to have you back Pete, what a wonderful video. Hopeyou are feeling better, thank you Pete and Hillary.
Your Wife is a sweetheart of a woman. Love to see her riding with you walking and stacking wood for her home. Granny 92 Oregon.
What a great mornin !!!
Temps have fallen to bearable here, enjoying my coffee with Pete Inc.
It doesn’t get much better…..
Glad you are feeling better Pete try to rest.
I hope you feel better Pete.
I haven't seen anyone use a screw jack on a while. Early this century we used a few to straighten a building. Thank you Pete.
I love that jack. I trust it more than a hydraulic jack.
Hi ....Pete...please get well soon..great video today as always...It is a pleasure watching each week...enjoy the farmer's market....
Pete, looking forward to all those projects. I had to remove wide front end on the 606 just to get the oil pan off. I will do some bushing replacement and welding while its down. Jeff in HANNIBAL MO.
Thanks for the update, get well, stay happy.
Now I know you guys are old enough to remember "Hee Haw". Did that shovel Hillery gave you look familiar? Y'all still have that cute factor that never gets old! Good to see you feeling better. Even on a Sunday when I usually don't get to see you except in reruns. Of all the possibilities to fix the hub I think you're on the money here. Drilling out and then using inserts might be good enough for a riding lawnmower but ORM while a tad more maybe is better for the next few decades. Welding, drilling and tapping is some work too but life is too short and if you don't have to reinvent the wheel to be better off I say keep doing what your doing.
Glad you're feeling better Pete! Your comment of reality about farm-work when feeling ill is spot on. A quip in a farm publication about a survey of Farmers re vacation/weekends.
When asked if they had special plans or vacation plans for the weekend, 95% of farmers did not understand the question. 5% of farmers didn't know what day it was.
Very happy you’re feeling better and back. Awards to you for getting your work done in the heat and not feeling well at the same time. In my best years I would not have the energy to manage, Hillary included too, daily farming. Then add in equipment maintenance…. The Dexters out in the field with lush greens and partially clouded sky an artist’s canvas. Looking forward to the mechanical projects. Have a great week guys!
Happy your feeling better, Pete!
Happy you are feeling better, Yes the chores still need to be done even when we are sick
Good to see you back Pete, happy Sunday and to the family 👪. I'm sure Hillary can handle your health care, have a great day 🥂
Glad you're feeling better. Lovely video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Glad you are up and at em again Pete, can't keep a good man down.❤️
The 856 is gonna look great with tri ribs.
Hope you are feeling better.
Few people know this, but white lettering on tires adds 2 to 3 HP. Five if combined with racing stripes. And yes, this also holds true for farm machinery. 🧐
Sorry you’ve been sick. Lots of viruses going around and everyone I know who has traveled has come home sick. I missed you & Hillary & all your critters. I always chuckle when you start listing all the parts to replace on a tractor & wonder at what point does it become a completely new tractor?
Glad your feeling better Pete was starting to worry about ya
Like so many other's Pete glad to see you are feeling better and it was nothing too serious. I think just about everyone here has been in your shoes so to speak. Come down with something that's rough but does ont put you down so no stopping when you have responsibilities. and go to work and do chores. or a regular job. I applaud you for that. and know how it feels at 80 I've had my share of those "Suck-em up days" but sure did miss not seeing you I was wondering what was the problem now I know and feel better that you are feeling better. glad to see you and Hilary back in action. take care God Speed. ECF
Thanks Pete. Hope you get to feeling better.
Sorry you were ill and still having work. Thank you for the note mid week. I missed you and Hillary this week. Pray your back to 💯 health quickly.
Awesome can't wait for some tractor maintenance videos this fall 🇺🇸
Glad you're on the mend, Pete!
Glad you're feeling better Pete. Thanks for the video.
Pete, if you had Stew live up to his name, he'd be less noisy, no? Just kidding. Glad you're feeling better and thanks for the video update. I look forward to your videos, whether they be about work around the farm, the cows always seem to be good for comic relief, or your fix-it videos. Thanks.
Glad you are feeling better, missed the video updates. 8:15
I was getting worried about you. So glad to see you’re recovering. You obviously didn’t lose that great sense of humor ( I especially liked the “ placed on farm light duty”….! ).
Feel better . Rest, drink alot. is Everyone ready for the winter, yet? Blessings 🙌
So glad you are feeling better. Makes me want to stay home and avoid crowds. Being out with a lot of people just isn’t worth it.
Feel better, Pete! Thank you!
I hope you are feeling better. I sure do miss your videos!
Looks like the fly problem is a lot better this year ... Get Well ... I enjoyed the video as always and love the old tractors ...
Happy your feeling better Pete , missed ya . Great to see all the livestock . Titus is gonna have to muscle up this year .God Bless
Glad you are feeling better. Hope the kids helped out while you were down.
I sit at 6:15 am this Sunday morning and watch Pete up and about looking for his "little porkers". Seeing them the size they are now from what seems like yesterday little piglets, makes me feel like I've grown up with them, notwithstanding I'm sixty nine years old. Love seeing Pete's interaction with these animals, so... to a good start of the day! ☺️
Glad to have you back and that you are feeling better. Take care!
Good to see your back in shape. Thanks again Pete!
I am a big fan of farmers who put real tractor tires on the front of tractors like my dad always did.
Glad you are feeling better. Look forward to watching the mechanic work.
can't wait to see Titus out on green grass
I am really looking forward to watching the repairs. I like seeing how 'normal' people like myself can fix things.
Get "more gooder" there Pete. A good thing that you have such great help around there.
Glad you’re better. Looking forward to more amazing videos. 😊
Hope you kicked the sickness. Just processed my first 31 chickens last Sunday got 3 cows going to butcher soon just love watching you. Thank you I’ve learned so much watching you. I just put up 55 bales of hay for my first winter sense starting my farming experience. You’ll never know how helpful you have been! Thanks again from East TN.
Hope you feel better Pete !
Hoping for a speedy recovery Pete! Take the time you need.
Hey Pete, hey Hillary. Sorry you were sick Pete, but glad to see you're doing better because I love to see you and the animals mixing it up. Especially you and my girl Patty!
Glad you're feeling better and looking forward to the mechanical work!
The annual bull competition is soon! I bet $20 Orton gonna win this year!
Glad your on the mend. No fun doing chores when your sick. Love y’all
Love the cows talking to you.
Your winters coming our summers on its way.
Pete you're definitely hen-pecked today. Good to see you back on your wobbly feet.
My grandma use to tell us to put some salt on your wrist. Then the hens just lick you and not peck. Licking felt a lot like pecking. But got us kids to stand by long enough to learn that hen peck isn't usually that bad. Not referring to clucky hens that use to bite and twist.
Glad to see you feeling better Pete.
Hope you get to feeling better soon!
Love the content but we can wait. (Like we're going to be going anywhere lol)
Glad you're feeling better Mr. Larson. The farm doesn't take a break due to sickness which is unfortunate but that's part of the life we choose. Love the video and do take care.
Glad you’re feeling better Pete
Glad to see you back. Take care of yourself, see you soon.👍👍
Good morning! Welcome back!
I hope Titus is up for the reunion. He hasn’t had the exercise he usually gets out on the pasture. 😂
Sounds like Titus is more than ready
. LoL 😆!!
Sorry to hear you've been sick Mr. Pete. Farming in the winter while your sick is one thing but during the summer it's pure misery. Those 2 hogs in the pasture are some of the best looking you've had. Just be glad Saint Hilarie had a shovel instead of a pitchfork!
Thanks for bringing me such laughtrr. I thought the same❣️🤣 Yahoo!! Did that get me laughing out loud! I remember brandishing a pitchfork many times in fun threats a few times at my spouse. Back then in the 40s to late 70s it was funny❣️🤣🤣🤣 Sometimes had to break up the many hours & days to night time when haying or bedding. I sure do miss that life. Pete & Hilarie let me relive it with every video they put out. I am so grateful
@@charleswebster2550 You are quite welcome my friend. Love Pete and Hilarie!
Controversy, the white lettering out supposedly gives it 10hp more, that’s what I’ve heard. 🤣✌🇺🇸
My new favorite term “wallowed out”
Perfect farm term in my book!
You love the life most of us dream of.
Love the life and live the life - loving it! 🙂
Sorry to hear you were sick. That ain't no fun. Especially when you have chores to do every dang day. Glad to see you're doing better.
I am so glad you are feeling better, I really miss your videos. Your farm reminds me of my grandparents. You and family have a wonderful day 😊
Very glad your feeling better. Not 100 percent but better. Great trip all around the farm today. Thanks for sharing Pete. Have a great farmers market.
I would have to psyche myself up to be in the chicken coop, its hilarious how each chicken is on a hair trigger for any disturbance 😅
It's good to see you back. Hilary should have used a pitch fork. 😂😂😂😂😂😅
Ahh it’s nice to see your back we or I missed your channel hope all is well with you your farm looks great I know it takes a lot of work thanks for sharing all your hard work at my job they always said if you have time to lean you have time to clean so thanks for sharing all your hard work and the fruits 🍎 of your hard work like building your new add ons thanks for your channel and letting us learners lean hope you have a very profitable year
Glad your feeling better Pete!. It shows chores go on no matter what.
Good luck working on the tractor.
Keep Smilin!!!!
We're glad you are feeling better, Pete. 👍 It was great meeting you in person at the market on Saturday (We were the redhead sisters from Sherman with the comedic husbands. Lol) We look forward to your videos. The funniest one is when you and Hillary did the "Keystones Cop" style. We still chuckle about that one.
Happy to see you feeling better Pete, missed ya. The silver lining is you have your immune system ramped up for winter. Great video as always. The fall projects sound fun.
I used your information especially on the dexter cattle for a college presentation so thank you for what y’all do
Glad you're feeling better, Pete!

I'm glad you're feeling a little better Pete
Great video as always. Glad to see you up and around. Have a great day!
Glad you're feeling better. You have to watch that wife of yours. She sure is a keeper, that's for sure.
Love the shirt.
Welcome back Pete....missed your broadcast s
Just got your shirt last week, and today I wore it to the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market. I asked the lady selling "free range" chickens if they ate grass. "Chickens don't eat grass. Any chicken that eats grass is a scrawny chicken that you don't want to eat." Maybe she thought I meant only grass. Anyway, I said thank you and walked away.
Lol, glad you got a shirt James. Sometimes people ask us for chicken that has ONLY ate grass. You can guess how that conversation goes.
Glad you are up and at em again Pete. Hope you are feeling better, thank you Pete and Hillary.
Hey Pete, Sorry to know you also got that weeklong bug that is going around. I got my flu shot last week, baked up my butter nut squash for
freezer camp but found 3 more that need attention. Got a small roaster chicken almost ready for the oven as I am going back to making
our Sunday Roasted Chicken Dinners. A tradition we started when my sons were little. Word got around and we always had their friends
coming for Patriot football and dinner most Sundays. Got to say, that was the best way to get to know the kids your sons hung out with during the week at school. Cheers from Maine.🥛🍪🦞
It's great to witness your return to normalcy on the farm. Thanks for sharing your personal adventures and experiences.
Good to see you out and about Pete thank you
I'm thankful you gave yourself room to get better...........when you weren't feeling the best. Thankyou
