The “knee” bushings there are called king pins and bushings, I have also seen the steering arms for around $150-$200 a side if you wanted to go that route to solve the wallowed out tie rod end connection. As always keep up the great work, hope you get over your illness speedy!
Just got your shirt last week, and today I wore it to the Rhinebeck Farmer's Market. I asked the lady selling "free range" chickens if they ate grass. "Chickens don't eat grass. Any chicken that eats grass is a scrawny chicken that you don't want to eat." Maybe she thought I meant only grass. Anyway, I said thank you and walked away.
That bull 🐂 Orden loves Pete. Did everyone see his tail a-spinning! He does that when he's by Pete, running to catch up with him for a quick back rub from Pete. Love seeing the cattle reacting to moving on to greener pastures led by Pete. "Come on cows, lets go". Patty always letting the others know she's the matriarch of the herd with her moooos, steer talk saying, "come on, lets go, follow Pete". 😂

Now I know you guys are old enough to remember "Hee Haw". Did that shovel Hillery gave you look familiar? Y'all still have that cute factor that never gets old! Good to see you feeling better. Even on a Sunday when I usually don't get to see you except in reruns. Of all the possibilities to fix the hub I think you're on the money here. Drilling out and then using inserts might be good enough for a riding lawnmower but ORM while a tad more maybe is better for the next few decades. Welding, drilling and tapping is some work too but life is too short and if you don't have to reinvent the wheel to be better off I say keep doing what your doing.
So nice to start my Monday with your newest video. :) Glad you're feeling better. And it was great watching Hilary smack you with a shovel. lol You needed that for all those bad jokes you tell. lol
Pete, if you had Stew live up to his name, he'd be less noisy, no? Just kidding. Glad you're feeling better and thanks for the video update. I look forward to your videos, whether they be about work around the farm, the cows always seem to be good for comic relief, or your fix-it videos. Thanks.
My grandma use to tell us to put some salt on your wrist. Then the hens just lick you and not peck. Licking felt a lot like pecking. But got us kids to stand by long enough to learn that hen peck isn't usually that bad. Not referring to clucky hens that use to bite and twist.
Welcome back Pete. The wife and I missed the videos, we watch them every other afternoon together and it makes our days. Glad youre starting to feel better.
Glad you're feeling better Pete! Your comment of reality about farm-work when feeling ill is spot on. A quip in a farm publication about a survey of Farmers re vacation/weekends. When asked if they had special plans or vacation plans for the weekend, 95% of farmers did not understand the question. 5% of farmers didn't know what day it was.
I sit at 6:15 am this Sunday morning and watch Pete up and about looking for his "little porkers". Seeing them the size they are now from what seems like yesterday little piglets, makes me feel like I've grown up with them, notwithstanding I'm sixty nine years old. Love seeing Pete's interaction with these animals, so... to a good start of the day! ☺️
Very happy you’re feeling better and back. Awards to you for getting your work done in the heat and not feeling well at the same time. In my best years I would not have the energy to manage, Hillary included too, daily farming. Then add in equipment maintenance…. The Dexters out in the field with lush greens and partially clouded sky an artist’s canvas. Looking forward to the mechanical projects. Have a great week guys!
Pete, looking forward to all those projects. I had to remove wide front end on the 606 just to get the oil pan off. I will do some bushing replacement and welding while its down. Jeff in HANNIBAL MO.
I was getting worried about you. So glad to see you’re recovering. You obviously didn’t lose that great sense of humor ( I especially liked the “ placed on farm light duty”….! ).
Happy to see you feeling better Pete, missed ya. The silver lining is you have your immune system ramped up for winter. Great video as always. The fall projects sound fun.
Glad you're feeling better Mr. Larson. The farm doesn't take a break due to sickness which is unfortunate but that's part of the life we choose. Love the video and do take care.
Pete, glad you are on the mend and hope you are much better now. Glad to see the projects of repair on the tractors as you go along. Won't be long before the fall colors arrive. To me its a beautiful time but yet I like the the spring and summer best. Well each to their own thoughts. Feel better Pete.😊
Hope you kicked the sickness. Just processed my first 31 chickens last Sunday got 3 cows going to butcher soon just love watching you. Thank you I’ve learned so much watching you. I just put up 55 bales of hay for my first winter sense starting my farming experience. You’ll never know how helpful you have been! Thanks again from East TN.
We're glad you are feeling better, Pete. 👍 It was great meeting you in person at the market on Saturday (We were the redhead sisters from Sherman with the comedic husbands. Lol) We look forward to your videos. The funniest one is when you and Hillary did the "Keystones Cop" style. We still chuckle about that one.
Ahh it’s nice to see your back we or I missed your channel hope all is well with you your farm looks great I know it takes a lot of work thanks for sharing all your hard work at my job they always said if you have time to lean you have time to clean so thanks for sharing all your hard work and the fruits 🍎 of your hard work like building your new add ons thanks for your channel and letting us learners lean hope you have a very profitable year
Sorry to hear you've been sick Mr. Pete. Farming in the winter while your sick is one thing but during the summer it's pure misery. Those 2 hogs in the pasture are some of the best looking you've had. Just be glad Saint Hilarie had a shovel instead of a pitchfork!
Thanks for bringing me such laughtrr. I thought the same❣️🤣 Yahoo!! Did that get me laughing out loud! I remember brandishing a pitchfork many times in fun threats a few times at my spouse. Back then in the 40s to late 70s it was funny❣️🤣🤣🤣 Sometimes had to break up the many hours & days to night time when haying or bedding. I sure do miss that life. Pete & Hilarie let me relive it with every video they put out. I am so grateful
Always fun to watch you work with the cows and livestock. I find it interesting to watch you work on the tractor and implements. Pete hope you get better really soon. It not fun to work when you feel bad. Take Care and Be safe on the farm. Out
Hay pete great video specially when Hillary hits you with the shovel lol it's always nice to see you and your wife working together oh and the farm looks great all your animals are well token care of thank you for sharing blessings
Sorry you’ve been sick. Lots of viruses going around and everyone I know who has traveled has come home sick. I missed you & Hillary & all your critters. I always chuckle when you start listing all the parts to replace on a tractor & wonder at what point does it become a completely new tractor?
Regarding the wheel hub: new hubs are affordably priced, so I will just replace the hub rather than repairing the bolt holes.
Ahhh...I was thinking that as you were explaining how to fix them. Also, I'm sure glad you're feeling better, Pete. We missed you, buddy.
Pete ,what does it cost to have a cow butchered? Approx? Looking to get into raising a small herd myself. Thanks
Thought farmers didn't take holidays? Haha glad you're feeling better!
Cheers from Canada

What ever happened to your kitty 🐈⬛?
Glad you are up and at em again Pete. Hope you are feeling better, thank you Pete and Hillary.
It's good to see you back. Hilary should have used a pitch fork. 😂😂😂😂😂😅
The thumbnail for this video is hilarious. Context is everything! lol
Love that comment about how the raised lettering on the tires makes them last twice as long.
And also adds at least 15% more horsepower!
If I were a rooster on the farm named "Stew," I'd keep my beak shut and be a GOOD rooster.
I am a big fan of farmers who put real tractor tires on the front of tractors like my dad always did.
They sure steer better, and sometimes are even less expensive in the long run.
Pete, we love your videos! You and Hillary are living your dream. It's hard work, but I bet you say it's all worth it. You really know your tractors.😀
I haven't seen anyone use a screw jack on a while. Early this century we used a few to straighten a building. Thank you Pete.
I love that jack. I trust it more than a hydraulic jack.
Glad you're feeling better, Pete. Thanks for the trip around the farm.
Lol, glad you got a shirt James. Sometimes people ask us for chicken that has ONLY ate grass. You can guess how that conversation goes.
I like Ordon, he just sounds like a grumpy old man just grumbling all the time. He's my favorite.
That bull 🐂 Orden loves Pete. Did everyone see his tail a-spinning! He does that when he's by Pete, running to catch up with him for a quick back rub from Pete. It's great to witness your return to normalcy on the farm. Thanks for sharing your personal adventures and experiences.
So nice to start my Monday with your newest video. :) Glad you're feeling better. And it was great watching Hilary smack you with a shovel. lol You needed that for all those bad jokes you tell. lol

Get "more gooder" there Pete. A good thing that you have such great help around there.
i love that tractor t-shirt cause i used to run one of those tractor at church to cut the grass. so i bought one. thanks Pete.
Pete you're definitely hen-pecked today. Good to see you back on your wobbly feet.
My grandma use to tell us to put some salt on your wrist. Then the hens just lick you and not peck. Licking felt a lot like pecking. But got us kids to stand by long enough to learn that hen peck isn't usually that bad. Not referring to clucky hens that use to bite and twist.

My new favorite term “wallowed out”
Perfect farm term in my book!
I would have to psyche myself up to be in the chicken coop, its hilarious how each chicken is on a hair trigger for any disturbance 😅
Glad you're feeling better. You have to watch that wife of yours. She sure is a keeper, that's for sure.
Glad you're feeling better Mr. Larson. The farm doesn't take a break due to sickness which is unfortunate but that's part of the life we choose. Love the video and do take care.
