- In this video you will see me swapping an old man cam for a bigger one 235/243 .621/624 113, and upgrading the valvetrain in a 2006 Corvette.

Cam swap? How about swapping the lambo doors for the regular ones.

Im replacing my head gaskets and thinking about changing cam and lifters in my 05 automatic corvette any suggestions for dailey driver and maybe a street race on weekends?
Dumb question, when installing a cam can you knock cam bearings out of whack if you hit them with the lobes of a camshaft?
You would have to really wack it with a hammer to move them. More concerned about gouging them with a sharp edge of a cam lobe

What are the actual length of your lifter holder rods? They look like perfect length.
I dont recall, I got the steel rods locally and made them to that length. They have to be ground flat slightly on one side to work

Is that considered a street cam and setup or a drag race setup? Is it durable and have good driveability?
With an auto and 3600 stall its pretty driveable. Id call it a street and strip cam. A manual it would buck a little around 1000rpm but its something you would learn how to drive around it.
The only thing good about this orange convertible corvette is the engine
What exhaust are you running? I like how it’s not crazy loud
I dont recall what exhaust was on this one. I prefer the Corsa sport or touring exhaust on these cars

Which corvette would you recommend the c5 or c6?
C5's are the best for value but if you have the money a C6 would be a better option stock vs stock for the updates to the engine, transmission, differential, lights, interior trim etc. The suspension and powertrain layout on both are pretty much identical. Visually I love the clean look of the popup headlight C5. They have a better drag coefficient. I love the sharp aggressive angles on the C6 also. Both are a great bargain.

@@kgetorv988 Somewhere around 4.2 seconds to 60mph LS6 C5 and LS2 C6, The LS3 is probably just under 4 seconds

The local support keeps me busy. Ive had one customer ship his c3 to me but mostly do east coast cars
