If there is a country that is rich in mineral deposits world-wide,I say it's DRC, leaders have failed their people,so heartbreaking

It’s the corruption of their own Gvmt, military and police that is keeping them down. It’s a tribal mentality. They only care about their own family and tribe, not to improve their country or society in general. This is the same all over Africa, not just Congo or individual countries.

Was the FAC funding Mbusas RCD-ML at this time? Also Bemba wasn’t deposed he just lost control of the area. Those may not have even been his troops but rather that of RCD-N who were allied with the MLC for awhile ,they formed the FLC. But split at some point. The reason for such divisions is that the frontlines had settled against Kinshasa allowing soldiers and leaders to focus on enriching themselves. I think the Mai Mai leader is also still active today. I think I’ve seen him in a more recent video.

12:10 the actors changed names when outside regulation imported the tagging.
The conflicts were and still are not about securing mines or trade. Like the guy says its a helpful tax opportunity. What a mess still today. Interference turned an ad hoc but living income for locals into a corporate scam and poverty.

WHO WERE THE REFUGEES THAT RWANDA ACCEPTED TO HOST.?????
    THOSE WERE NOT REFUGEES.THEY
    WERE MERCENARIES GOING TO THE
COLTAN MINES IN KONGO TO MAN
AND PROCESS COLTAN TO BR SMUGGLED OUT OF KONGO.
HOW CAN A TINY COUNTRY HOST
REFUGEES,A COUNTRY ABOUT AN ACRE SIZE WITHOUT RESOURCES
    NO INDUSTRIES. THOSE WERE
    REAL MERCENARIES HEADING FOR
    KONGO MINES.

Dow Chemical's developing a substitute, tentatively named Kol-Tan that's cheaper and more effective than the original. Environmentally safe, too. Kidding? You could sprinkle it on your morning cereal.
