Jesus Christ this is the only helpful video on RUclips. Thank you.
i'm so glad i found this video
What we shrived to show was all the aspects of cleaning a system. Pressure washing is part of the process.
Just got home from a 3 hour job and I can tell you the concept is right. But the power washer I use literally pushes you back in your tracks.. this is a very messy difficult stressful Jobe. Especially in the winter.
Try that s***when there are stoves in the kitchen very difficult
Thanks for sharing. Good work guys!
This is exactly what I do for a living. Rigging my plastic down under the hood with paint scrapers and duct tape. Then I go to the roof and blast the fan and duct work. Then I come down and do the hood. Usually we do the filters too outside in parking lot. We use sodium hydroxide.
What of kind plastic roll do you use ?
Great job guys !!
Damn good video. Put together very well!!!
That's what i call cleaning. Great job.
Great video!! Nice work!
WOW Thanks for your comments and watching our video. Everyone's a critic. But you watched it didn't you?
How to apply in your company sir i have experince exhaust cleaning her at phillippines..iam so enterested in your company sir...
Have to say, I've yet to encounter a free-standing hood with no kitchen equipment beneath it like what is shown. That's got to be a real peach to clean.
We high lighted this system for the video. Not all systems are like this.
Right this video sucks no stoves deep fryers man that's easy
We hang plastic over it and it funnels the water into a drain or trashcan
Great video
good job guys
looks like new good job
We also use a huge slide out pressure washer with a burner in Mercedes sprinters
Great job Michael I met you in nola pepole always throw rocks at things that shine nice to meet you jeremy
We hardly ever have to use a shop vac the proz kitchen exhaust solutions WV. And that tool is a chemical foam applicator or u may be talking about the Lil black spin Jets
You guys should try pressure washer with steamer, burner, we all know hot water is the key, get soap shooter nozzle and mix the degreaser in the bucket. Shooting degreaser under high pressure with very hot water works really good, you don't need to scrape anything and you can cut time by 1/3.
***** Degreaser that works Ok on cold water you won't be albe to buy it unless you have license for it, all depends what you wanna use it for, you can visit ecolab.com, we been using it long time and it works good, but cold water is waste of time and chemical.
The only thing they can do is get better plastic or double cover, is that your company ?
Always pre scrape tracks and heavy areas bro .
Nice job guys!
Nice PPE Equipment +1
Hey kind of chemical do you specifically use I just want to make sure it’s safe

Chinese grease video ruclips.net/video/IdV4OBjJEo4/видео.html
Muy bien cuánto se cobra por ese trabajo de limpieza de ductos de grasa
How much can you charge for this service? I just started a pressure washing business.
Great Video, whats the name of the tool that's hooked to the hose on min 3:20?
I like your Vid. Basic and informative. Been cleaning hoods and training for 30 years. Ignore the critics. There are a few haters in every profession. You need safety gear if your chemicals demand it. Pretty similar process as that contained in my manual. -Ability SCS Inc
+Paul Schneider , Thanks
What nozzles did he use
how long take to do this job ?
Always wanted to learn where us best training? Lmk
wondering the type of pressure washer you are using? I am currently using a landa MHC series but looking for some ideas?
Hydrotech
What kind of degreaser do you use? We can't find a degreaser that works at all like how the one in the video did
I can tell from the "no answer" it's probably something very very strong and controversial or simply somewhat proprietary to their business.
This reminds me of a saying I sometimes use I got from one of my favorite book series. "Don't question my methodology but focus on the results". Lol
How do you price these kind of jobs
how much it cost to clean those fans
what chemical do yall use? do yall sell it?
missed a bit under the canopy (picture 29 seconds in)
No PPE?
How long does a typical job take to complete? And at what hours of the night (or day) is this usually done? Can someone have a day job and do this part time at nights?
IF YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT TO DO ...THIS HOOD TAKES NO MORE THAN 2 HOURS AND EVEN LESS WITH GOOD EQUIPMENT. 2 PEOPLE ONLY
Most jobs are always at night time. And as the person who commented below, they can be knocked in 2 or 2 and a half hours and really only need two people… 3 for big jobs. But good equipment does you very very good in this field.
Do you know where I can get foamer plans? Thanx
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
how do you guys get the pressure washer onto the roof top?
100 foot hose
Easy hood to wrap and wash.
Where does the water go from the roof top while you’re cleaning?
Usually they would have a grease trap on the roof you push it all to. If not, you may have to reclaim it using a shop vac or something of that sort. Ask them first so you know what to do when the time comes
How much do you charge to clean the vent hood and duct??
We typically charge anywhere from 3 to 5 hundred depending on the hood and duct work and if there are any access panels and whatnot.
good work, pls i need the degreaser name, and where can i find it!
Made by them.
What is this music?
bot steam cleaner vers pressure washer what works better??
Hot up to 200 deg works good, Steam is not necessary
Our degreaser is a proprietary formulation not available for sale.
Doubt it. Most companies that claim "proprietary" cleaning chemicals are actually using vendor provided products. Proprietary or not, you are required by law to provide MSDS sheets to employees and customers who request them.
centexpw that's why we use Supergirl which is an alkaline acid
And you can buy that from any Chemical Company
where is pressure wash? most of the job is done by scraping.
How come you guys aren’t wearing any type of protection? I’ve seen other Hood Cleaning Companies come in suited up head to toe. You’re getting these chemicals in your eyes and you’re breathing in the aerosolized detergents.
we have to clean the hoods in 2 hrs 4 max if its 4 hoods and its only 2 of us lol it sucks
Do a Fats Chinese bistro, Or ruby Thai, thai orchard
Using a pressure washer on a fan is not advisable as most motors are not sealed
98% clean is what is called. No matter what these guys are using that is well passed that percentage. Its about grease removal. They are not in the detailing business
Set your plastic up right and you wont have to have a extra hand vac up water
lol No gloves, no Goggles, no safety shoes, no water containment on roof. Poor PSI and no need to scrape when the grease is that thin. Waste of time and gouges the metal. But worst of all..... the Before and after pictures are not the same, look close!
This is the best you can do?
All that criticizing and moaning and bitching and nobody from that company is even Paying attention to any of it.
yal r wrong and picts are not real they photo shopped if u look at the fans @ 1:08 that is not a before and after shot thats 2 def fans
Carey, Hate to disappoint you but that is the same fan. It isn't the exact same shot, but its the same fan. Dont worry yourself about it, its not photoshopped.
clean the ansol pipes better
Hahaha the grease is easy to remove.
Well put together but your men are missing simple things like gloves and at least a cloth face coverings. Its Hard to get guys to wear respirators in hot kitchens I understand that but we shouldn't miss lead people to harm. People learn from these VIDS.
That music is garbage.
+TheGravygun , Yes it is LOL
You are garbage.
can you imagine that's the shit u eat & same shit that clogs arteries.
When comparing before and after pictures, try showing the same section, they do not match. No eye protection, no gloves and not containing waste water.... and you are showing the world that you are violating OSHA and EPA standards... ?? WOW
lol it's just cleaning. Do janitors wear protection? NO.
