He also just had a bad tone when talking about MKTour, but he changed it in this video too
@BIG BOY don't remember something specific but he did say some stuff about the game that aren't true to make it seem worse not trying to defend the game though
I’ll do MKT for you. Best is Vancouver Velocity. It is a huge track that very well represents Vancouver with you going on high bridges in the mountains. Ending off with you gliding back into the city. It’s also so pretty especially because it’s at night with the starry night sky. The worst by far is Tokyo Blur 1. There was nothing and I mean nothing interesting about it. You just do a few turns around Tokyo and that’s it. Nothing special and so much water potential for Tokyo. Honorable mentions for best are both of the Paris tracks. They make you feel like you are in Paris and it’s nice to drive around Paris and they both have fun short cuts. Honorable mention for the worst track is New York Minute 2. New York Minute 1 was okay but for 2 they basically just gave it the Tokyo Blur 1 treatment and just make it a few turns.
Personally, I prefer Airship Fortress, Maple Treeway, and Sunshine Airport in their respective games. I love Waluigi Pinball and Mount Wario, but I prefer those other courses. I like courses that include a lot of elements from the platformers and courses that take place in unusual locations, like a mall or an airport or a subway. I will agree about Neo Bowser City and Bone-Dry Ruins. I never liked those courses.
If I wanted to say which track that originates from Tour, I would say the best Vancouver Velocity as the memorable music, enjoyable background and challenging track, for the Worst, I'd pick London Loop, the name says it would be kind of circle, but keeps the glare of Great Britain.
ZERO 464 Yeah, I liked London Loop because it was longer, had some obstacles, space for driving. My fav now is the Vancouver one which feels like a new track for a new Mario Kart instead of tour, really cool. The worst for me is the Tokyo Blur too. It’s too short, no difficulty, no tricks, no shortcuts at all.
I agree on Vancouver being the best course, but Tokyo 1 (the worst original course) had the best music. I also don't like RMX Mario Circuit 1's long stretches with no coins nor turns. As for the rehashed courses, I'd pick Yoshi Circuit R/T as the best and SNES Rainbow Road R/T as the worst.
it's not just that the turn is tight, it's that combined with another tight turn going into it, so you have to drift on that turn, then switch direction on your drift while you're already in the turn, so you basically can't clear that turn without slowing down unless you're using a light character.
It feels like in Mario kart 8 they focused more on the theming of the course than the actual tracks themselves. There’s so many course that are just... boring. Like the Zelda stage, the acnl stage, and more. The wii version had fantastic stages all around and they should’ve ported more imo
@@quangamershyguyyz7166 I feel like it’s an unfair assessment to call all of them overrated. I think the wii maps generally have more interesting track shape and dynamics. MK8 has some great ones, but also some awful, uninspired courses which seem like just an excuse to put theming on to.

@owie108 yeah, he claimed that "nobody cares about Wii Sports" when tens of millions of people bought and loved the games in that franchise, which prompted a fair amount of backlash.
Even though I didn’t threaten you last time, I still feel bad that I commented about two of the three changed aspects of this video. I don’t really understand why you changed Baby Park, guess people who played the DS version only were salty.
The only changes I’d make would be: Mario Kart Double Dash Best: DK Mountain is better than Yoshi Circuit. I like both tracks but going up with the cannon, then driving down the mountain getting heaps of air time is so much fun. Mario Kart DS Worst: Figure 8 Circuit is worse than Yoshi Falls as it has literally nothing exciting at all whereas Yoshi Falls I guess has the waterfalls and speed boosts. Mario Kart Wii Best: Coconut Mall is better than Koopa Cape. This is my personal opinion as I like Coconut Mall slightly more. Mario Kart 7 Best: Rainbow Road is better than Music Park/Melody Motorway. This is my opinion but I just happened to enjoy it slightly more but I do love that track. Three of these would be just my opinion but the Mario Kart DS one, I have a feeling most people would agree. I love your videos and content and this comment is just my opinion but I agree with your whole list basically.
Ironically his favorite is my least. Get crushed by one thwomp in first, now you're FAAAR in back because it takes 2 years for them to get off you. I also always seem to fall off the left of that one lava bridge, because momentum, and that one turn up the sprial is impossibly tight. Even CPUs always hit the walls there, so they shoulda knew it was too tight durring development.
My first ever Mario kart game was Mario kart DS and I fell in love with it so much. Then came Mario kart Wii, then 7 then 8 and I just love the series so much. Glad my parents hooked me up with the game. If they didn't, they wouldn't even get their asses kicked several times by me ~
My fav from Mario Kart 7 is Wuhu Loop. First of all, this track is a reference to Wii Sports Resort (the island) and, it has some really good shortcuts. One of them takes so much time to master (the one at the end of Session 2).
I disagree with Mario kart 7, music park was cool but wuhu island was such a cool level and it had a day night cycle, neo bowser city is fun and that turn is easy if you stop drifting earlier, other that that it’s a great list
When he said neo bowser city sucked it made me big sad cuz I love that course but whatever he has his opinions that I respect also Mario kart 7 was the best and you can fight me over that
My personal favorite from MK:DD is Baby Park. My siblings and I would change the settings for the #of laps and just race that one track for hours. Loved it!

@@noamchemla The reason why Baby Park is so loved is because of how Chaotic it is. With the bowser shells flying all over the place, the chain chomps dashing through the course, the bananas and green shells and fake item boxes flooding up every corner, all the racers bumping each other around, etc.

It is a great track!
I mean Toad Circuit is way worse than Neo Bowser City, this track is so good!
Thank you, someone else agreeing that Neo Bowser City is one of the greatest Mario Kart tracks ever, me personally I would give Cheep Cheep Lagoon the worst in MK7
really don't agree with 7 & 8's worst tracks.
never had an issue with the s turn in Neo Bowser City, and I think it's really satisfying getting a perfect drift onto the bone path in bone-dry dunes. definitely both tracks with skill curves though.
neo Bowser City is one of my favorite tracks

Neo Bowser City is my favorite from MK7. Great music, great turns, and great design. It flows so well and is great practice for drifting.
Choco Mountain was actually my favorite course, where as I hated Rainbow Road in 64. That track was mind-numbingly boring.

Mario Kart DS will forever go down as one of my favourites of all time. I remember as a 7-year-old eagerly anticipating its release. Back then the days used to go by so slowly... I must've easily put a thosand hours into that game, couldn't get enough!

I really like Yoshi Falls, sure it was simple but I have a lot of fun on it. It's simplicity was what made it relaxing to me.
Omg I thought I was the only one who liked it!
I love how you are starting to talk about more franchises
Personally, I prefer Airship Fortress, Maple Treeway, and Sunshine Airport in their respective games. I love Waluigi Pinball and Mount Wario, but I prefer those other courses. I like courses that include a lot of elements from the platformers and courses that take place in unusual locations, like a mall or an airport or a subway.
I will agree about Neo Bowser City and Bone-Dry Ruins. I never liked those courses.
i only like skilled tracks, yeah those kids beat me so many times on moo moo meadows, but on snes rainbow road they had a very hard time on beating me
3:12 And don't forget that there's that edge you can be bumped off, which instantly puts you in last place with no chance of winning.
If I wanted to say which track that originates from Tour, I would say the best Vancouver Velocity as the memorable music, enjoyable background and challenging track, for the Worst, I'd pick London Loop, the name says it would be kind of circle, but keeps the glare of Great Britain.
I think the Tokyo Blur 1 is the worst for me he is very short and boring there isn't a lot of platform but the music is good at least
In my opinion, best course in tour is Vancouver Velocity, worse course is Tokyo blur 1
@@afelix for me my favorite rehashed course is 3DS Mario Circuit R/T, least favorite SNES Rainbow Road R/T, such an annoying lvl lol
Maybe the issue with Neo Bowser City is the character you're playing? Try a character with a better drift lol
it's not just that the turn is tight, it's that combined with another tight turn going into it, so you have to drift on that turn, then switch direction on your drift while you're already in the turn, so you basically can't clear that turn without slowing down unless you're using a light character.
@@lukraniom8731 I never failed on that turn

Hey bro, screw what the trolls say. Just do you
It feels like in Mario kart 8 they focused more on the theming of the course than the actual tracks themselves. There’s so many course that are just... boring. Like the Zelda stage, the acnl stage, and more. The wii version had fantastic stages all around and they should’ve ported more imo
The Mario Kart 8 tracks were astounding. The Wii game’s tracks were overrated and not that fun except for a few imo.
@@quangamershyguyyz7166 I feel like it’s an unfair assessment to call all of them overrated. I think the wii maps generally have more interesting track shape and dynamics. MK8 has some great ones, but also some awful, uninspired courses which seem like just an excuse to put theming on to.
Zelda boring??? That one is fun. But I agree acnl track is boring

One thing I'd like them to keep from Mario Kart tour is having courses based on actual cities
The only changes I’d make would be:
Mario Kart Double Dash Best: DK Mountain is better than Yoshi Circuit.

Ironically his favorite is my least. Get crushed by one thwomp in first, now you're FAAAR in back because it takes 2 years for them to get off you. I also always seem to fall off the left of that one lava bridge, because momentum, and that one turn up the sprial is impossibly tight.
