Dude hell yes they were a pain dealing with those they just kept respawning over and over until you took the key to their proper place. (the second clip you place.)
In Super Mario 3, the huge fish in the water is Big Bertha (has a baby fish), but the huge fish that jumps out of the water and tries to eat you is a different enemy: Boss Bass. Also the Fire Nipper Plant is the hardest enemy in the game, which only shows up in one level.
I think the Angry Sun enemy from Mario 3 deserves at least a mention. It's tough enough on its own, but you're also bewildered that the fucking sun wants to attack you. It looks pissed, too. Lackitus make some levels in the older games pretty hellish as well, particularly if you're moving slowly.

This video makes me want to see a new SMB1 speed run category: warpless, but you must kill all Hammer Bros. Quick, someone put a bounty on that to get it rolling.
In Super Mario Bros 2, There is also the Pink Pansers Who are really Annoying, since they chase You and throw fire Balls at You! An honorable mention are the Autobombs, that Do basically the same, but they throw fire Balls in a straight Line, and Bob-Ombs, especially under the Grass or thrown by ANOTHER Annoying enemy, Albatosses, who bring Bad memories from Lakitu. For Mario 3, There is also those DARN Flame Chomps! Another Enemy that annoyed me in 64 are the Chuckyas that can throw You out of the stage, the Heave-Ho for the same reason AND That they're indestructible, and the Fly Guys, because they fly around You, swoop down to push You, or even throw fire Balls!
There is an episode of AVGN. You can defeat Phanto. You need exactly 4 Cherrys and 4 Vegetables. Get Phanto in a Place Where there is a Stopwatch. Then Get a Cherry, Collect The Star and Touch Phanto
The toughest enemies in 64 are those mean little unkillable dots that shoot fireballs at you that follow you around. Like the one in tick TOCK clock. The one that threatens to ruin your life after you finally got to the top of tick TOCK clock.
The cosmic clones in Galaxy aren't that hard if you know how to traverse the level well, but if you make 1 mistake you'll get hurt- so I'm going to have to agree with you that they're pretty hard to deal with. The semifinal galaxy of Super Mario Galaxy 2, Flip-Out, has the cosmic clones appear after the first checkpoint I think, and it makes the level way harder than what it would've been without them. The stressful part is making those wall jumps while having to spin to alternate between red and blue blocks.

This video makes me want to see a new SMB1 speed run category: warpless, but you must kill all Hammer Bros. Quick, someone put a bounty on that to get it rolling.
dude that cloud in super mario land is a boss.
also im kinda weirded out that u didnt include the pionpis in the game
That first goomba is the hardest enemy in the entire franchise
The weakest enemy in every Mario game. (Don’t just say Goombas every time)
There is an episode of AVGN.
Surprised you didn't mention the sun in Super Mario Bros 3. That thing can be a real pain!
As I commented on a previous video, only the underwater version is called Big Bertha. The surface version is a male, called Boss Bass.
