No kidding. This is probably one of the most accurate nerf projectiles ever.

+shoopwhoopX I know; aerospace engineer checking in here ;) The spin stabilization helps as well over just straight fins and I didn't want to make a video that was full of maths about static margins and stability criteria. I might do a test comparison between spun and un-spun someday. If you watch the first shot closely you can actually see the gyroscopic precession keeping the rocket on track in the wing.
Also it has everything to do with fins since they are what causes the center of pressure to move backwards to increase stability. I could have also mentioned the weight was to move the centre of mass forward for the same reason but 99% of our audience probably don't understand or care -R

We scored a demolisher 2 in 1 today. The replacement missiles are impossible to source. We're hoping we can DIY our own.
I just found a pneumatic plunger [big brother of the Drain Blaster] and modified it for stomp rockets. I'm going to use this tutorial to make more intense rockets. Glad I found it

ya just use a drain blaster and make an attachment for it.
If you get a pool noodle with an overall diameter of 2.5 inches, I bet you could widen the bore to fit the original Titan's barrel (internal bore 1.5 inches) so you could still use the original rocket if you still have yours, then continue steps in this video. I'm going to try it out myself soon

I sharpened a metal pipes edges same size as the titans, and cut the inside, used hot glue and a washer for weight and no fins. Shoots about as far as yours If not smaller

So I take it these won't work on a stock Titan barrel? These seem to work just great, but I'd love to have a missile solution that'd work for the couple of other people I know who have Titans; I'd feel lame making ammo we can't share.

+Django Wieruszewski The UMB might not have enough kick for these rockets but I'd love to hear how it goes. You might get better performance by removing the wooden plug and the stress ball to save weight -R

So I assume that the Cobra drain blaster can be made into a Blastzooka/barbarian type of tank?
Is it possible to reduce the volume of the air tank to cut down on having to put even more air in there, or is it too awkward with that tank?
+Thomas Ledgerwood You could reduce the size of the tank by just filling it up with something that doesnt compress like plasticine or epoxy or something. The Brain Blaster functions identically to a Blasterzooka -R
Are we ever gonna get an HPA Titan Modding Tutorial? I've found that your tutorials are extremely comprehensive and helpful, and I'd like to see a guide for this.

Dude, these rockets are huge. They would probably go like 5 feet even if they could attach to a Thunderblast.

The process itself pretty simple: Cut off the thread and flatten down the front face of the tank then epoxy on a coupler of the correct size. Pretty well described on NerfHaven and other forums as the Titan has been around for aaaages -R

I have a cobra drain blaster just like yours and I have a 1/2 inch coupler I want to put on it for singled and absolvers but also want the 25 mm conduit to use for the rockets, how would you configure a set up where you can use both
+Ethan Frosty Hmmm. You might be able to nest them? The 25mm conduit is roughly the same at 3/4 inch in the States. Put the 1/2inch inside the 3/4? Only guessing here tho -R

+Mod Squad You need to use the same diameter pipe as the inside of the pool noodle foam. That will depend on what brand you buy -R

+NerfDudeProductions _ The mod was stupid easy. I wrapped enough electrical tape around the little ball attachment thing so that the barrel just press fit on tightly! xD -R

+NerfDudeProductions _ You can always find them for ~$30 in Bunnings, occasionally there is a slightly lower quality (but still performs the exact same) model for $15, and I was lucky enough to know someone who came across a bulk lot sold off for $5 each :) . The mtb guys just wrap tape around the neck of the stock nozzle thing, if you're not happy with that you can always cut off the rounded head of the stock nozzle and epoxy on a conduit or PVC coupler for a more versatile setup.

That jacket has an awesome little story: It's a German replica of a Danish navy greatcoat that I bought from a Finnish store while I was holidaying in Sweden that was delivered to my next destination in The Netherlands. I swapped the buttons for nicer looking ones tho
