I saw a story out from California where people are actually leaving their doors open and hatches wide open because break ins are so common place now.
That’s mostly broke people with beaters. Nobody with a Mopar or hell even an Infiniti is doing that shit.

I think ur right,cuz even a 2012 dodge challenger sxt has auto lock feature,meaning if u forget to lock ur doors,n u go to open it without the key fob on u,the doors will lock,n that's a 2012,I'm sure these later model charger/challenger have that same feature.

Started following me and when we hit traffic driving 20km/h one of them hangout the window ( half jis body was put the window) tried to throw a GPS tracker in the bed pf my trx amd took off. This happened in the daytime in Canada

Being that the lights came on when buddy first opened the door, I don’t think the car was already unlocked. My lights only come on when the keys are near and you open the door.

Wrong the car wasn't left unlocked. The headlights wouldn't come on & turn signals wouldn't flash just by opening the car door UNLESS you have the keys on you. So they stole the signal that's why he didn't open it right away & waited until his buddy was able to catch the signal first. Notice when they came back the afterwards the lights didn't do anything. I'm surprised nobody else noticed this yet 🤔

I leave my doors unlocked when I had a scat (was T-boned) and in my daily (a Kia) I’m not replacing a window and retinting it. I don’t leave anything in my car. It’s that simple. It don’t be a reason to have shoes clothes money bottles of cologne or anything valuable when I can just take the shit in the house

If this was his third time for his vehicle being broken into he's leaving it unlocked on purpose. In some areas people now leave their vehicles unlocked because vehicle break-ins are so high people are tired of constantly getting their Windows bust. I know in New Orleans some people were doing that right now. Matter of fact not going to even talk about situations I know personally , but few years ago I was interested in buying A convertible 5.0. I actually met two people one was in my town and one was in another city in my area. The only reason they were selling their cars was because they kept getting broken into and they had to keep replacing their rag tops.

So what you obviously don't realize is that it was common for the vehicles of USAF people to be broken into in overseas locations back in the day. They would steal CDs and cup change for a grand total of $75, meanwhile the costs and hassle of getting the glass replaced was $200 and up depending on what type of car. We started advising our service members to leave the doors unlocked because the thieves where checking handles first and not have to bust the window. So if you live in a high crime area, empty your cars of valuables and leave your shit unlocked so you don't have to pay for that window. I don't know what makes this knock out guy think he's a car or security advisor but 70-90 percent of what this dude says is straight wrong or ignorant.
