    For those concerned with the pricey tag, it's really from the layers of amethyst and tourmaline (I promise it's worth it!!!!) I have a few UTK FIR pads and they are freaking fabulous. My dog uses it and she has less skin/bowel issues. Tourmaline is good for pain and insomnia. Amethyst helps mental health. Truuuust me, you want the stones and I don't know that other blankets have them. When warmed they produce FIR rays that penetrate deeper than the carbon fiber.

      This is so helpful to know about tourmaline and amethyst! The Heat Healer doesn't have amethyst but it does have jade and tourmaline! I'll have to check out the UTK FIR pads that have tourmaline and amethyst! The benefits sound great!

    Some tips with the sauna. Use magnesium spray afterwards to help raise magnesium levels as your capillaries near the surface of your skin will be dilated. I would also look into niacin ( flush kind). It will help release toxins from your fat cells.
    With all the sweating you will be doing, look at celtic salt and cream of tartar to make your own electrolyte drink.
    Good luck!

      @DaniSmith405  2 года назад +1

      Hi Katherine! Aw thank you so much! That seriously means so much to me! Ohhh great question! Both of them can be great for stress relief.
      I'll give some of my thoughts about both of them and maybe this can help you decide which one you think you'd like better.
      The PEMF Go Mat I think is something that you may be more likely to use consistently more often because it fits in an office chair. You could use it on a different chair as well. I guess it also depends on if you'd use it on a chair often or not but I use the PEMF mat more than I use the sauna blanket just because it's quicker to use and it's just already ready to go when I want to use it.
      Whereas the sauna blanket, I have to lay it out and then put it away. Not a huge deal but basically just saying, I use the PEMF mat most days of the week.
      The sauna blanket is great though too! If you want a full body relaxing experiencing, I'd say go for the sauna blanket. It feels like your in a super cozy and warm sleeping bag and it really helps to calm the mind. When you use it on a lower level, it's great for stress relief. It's just really relaxing! This may be better for stress relief, at least in my opinion. The sauna blanket definitely makes me feel more relaxed than the PEMF mat.
      I hope that helps!

      @DaniSmith405  Год назад +1

      Of course! Honestly I truly do love them both and use them both but have definitely reached for the Higher DOSE one more often. I think it's because I tried that one first and fell in love with that one first. But I think it comes down to preference and what you're looking for. The Heat Healer sauna blanket is larger than the Higher DOSE sauna blanket so is great if you're tall and need more room inside the blanket. I do agree with what you mentioned about EMF. The Heat Healer has zero EMF as opposed to low EMF, which low EMF is still good but zero EMF is awesome. For that part of it, I do prefer Heat Healer. So if you're very conscious of that and want zero EMF, I'd say go for Heat Healer. It also makes a difference if you want the jade and tourmaline stones or not. I personally don't love laying on the jade and tourmaline stones which may be another reason I tend to reach for the Higher DOSE sauna blanket but I do think it's a unique added feature for the Heat Healer.
      I hope that helps!

I saw u zip it up from the bottom to top… I’m 6’3” so the only way I fit comfortably on the original is to open the flap and hang my feet out lol. Just got the blanket before your video. Wish I knew about discount code. Question, instructions say don’t use on the a bed and I’ve seen videos on the bed! Also says to use on a massage table, which I don’t have or on a yoga mat because it gets hot and can catch things on fire. Well the yoga mat is smaller then the blanket. I used two. Then they said one can use a bolster. I have a pillow. Because of the fire thing, I put pillow under the yoga mats to protect it and it made the mats too short. I then added towels to extend both ends and a layer of protection. It’s getting complicated yes? I was absolutely sweating before I even got inside! 😅 Any advice?😊

    • @DaniSmith405
      @DaniSmith405  Год назад

      Hi! 🤗 It's such a cool device! I hope you love it! I think the main reason that they say to not use it on a bed is if you have memory foam or a material that can melt. I personally use it on my bed and I don't have issues. I think any flat surface that won't melt with some warmth on it works fine. I personally just add a few layers of blankets and put the sauna blanket on top and that works well for me. I don't think you have to worry about it catching fire as long as you're not using it near something flammable. I think they just want to emphasize the importance to make sure that doesn't happen. ☺️
      I think what you're doing works! To simplify it, you could also just use it on the floor with a few layers of blankets under for some padding and to create a barrier between the floor and the sauna blanket.

      I'm not totally sure what you mean by red light panels. Do you mean red light therapy? If so, a sauna blanket has a pretty different list of benefits/things that it does. A sauna blanket can be used to provide pain relief such as muscle tension relief, can be a tool used in weight loss along with doing other things to lose weight, it makes the body sweat, can be used for relaxation and stress relief and more! Hi Mary! I reached out to Higher DOSE and both their sauna blanket and PEMF mat are made in Korea. 💚☺️

    Hi Dani,
    Quick question. I tried the sauna for the first time on level 8. Got a good sweat in. Do you know what the flap is for on the top right side? Also, have you found a way to go in without clothes ? I know they have a towel for sale but im trying to find another way besides wearing a onsie lol.
    Thanks,
    Ricky

      Hi! I actually never even thought about the flap on the top right side. I honestly have no idea what that's for! I'm curious now too! I noticed it but didn't put much thought into what it may be for. If you'd like, I can reach out to the brand and ask what it's for!
      As far as going in the sauna blanket without clothes, it's actually not supposed to be used without clothes. I personally wear sweatpants, socks and a long sleeve shirt. Basically the clothes helps to create a barrier between the warmth of the sauna blanket and your skin and also helps to absorb excess sweat to make it easier to clean up after you use it. But you want to make sure to wear long clothing with it because it's important to have that barrier between the warmth of the sauna blanket and the skin cause if you're using it at a high level, it could potentially feel too hot on the skin.
      The towel insert is definitely just an added bonus or layer for comfort and it absorbs more sweat so there's less or nothing to clean up after you use the sauna blanket but it's definitely not a necessity and you can just use any towel you already have. A onesie actually sounds like a great way to do it though! Haha I may have to try that!
      Sorry for the novel response! 😂 I hope that was somewhat helpful! Lol

      @@DaniSmith405 thanks for the response! I've been enjoying the blanket so far. I saw your reviews on heat healer and was wondering what you thought between the two? I already got the higher dose and so far I think its great
      The emf doesn't concern me , I only use it twice a week, 30 mins at a time and the emf levels are pretty low

      @@fijian0811 Of course! I did a comparison video between the Heat Healer and Higher DOSE Sauna blankets if you want to check that out! It's linked in the description of this video. But that video was based on the previous sauna blanket models so there's been some changes. I'll have to do an updated comparison video some time soon. I personally love them both! I'd say the main things to consider is if you want zero emf or if you're okay with low emf, the size of the sauna blanket, (Heat Healer is larger, fits someone up to 6'6 tall), if you care to have the jade and tourmaline stones (which comes with Heat Healer) and if you want a zipper (like Higher DOSE has).

    Great review. Isn't higher dose manufactured in China?

      So glad you found the video helpful! It's actually not made in China. I reached out to Higher DOSE awhile back to see where it's made and both the sauna blanket and their PEMF mat are made in Korea. 💚

    I am afraid that the company has reduced the good materials such as coal and others because of their lighter weight than the old version. Can anyone tell me is the weight difference between the two versions big or a small difference?

      I reached out to the brand to make sure I could give you the most helpful answer. They said that the new version is only a half pound lighter than the old version and all the layers are the same so nothing was taken away. It still has the amethyst, charcoal and tourmaline layers.

    How low is emf

    • @DaniSmith405
      @DaniSmith405  Год назад

      Hi Joanne! They don't specify an exact number for the low EMF but they ensure it is low. My functional practitioner recommended this sauna blanket to me and she's very cautious of the products she uses so I have felt completely safe using this. You could reach out to Higher DOSE and ask about that though! I'm sure they would be happy to give you details about that! They've always gotten back to me quickly whenever I've had questions. ☺️

      Hi Jailyn! They have a black Friday sale going on right now which is why the code doesn't work at the moment! But the Black Friday sale gives 20% off and is going on until 11/29! Here's the link to the sauna blanket that will give you 20% off ➡️ shrsl.com/3sl2h
      The 20% off is automatically applied at checkout! ☺️ I hope this helps! This Black Friday discount gives a higher percentage off than my code so this is a great time to get the sauna blanket for an even better price!

    Can someone 220 pounds get in there

    • @DaniSmith405
      @DaniSmith405  Год назад

      I believe so! The maximum interior circumference when in use is approximately 65 inches. If you're tall or want more space, the Heat Healer Sauna Blanket is a bit larger so may be worth checking out! I have a video on that as well if you're interested.
