My instructions said to start at level 3. I did not sweat, but I did feel warm. I was cold at the time and it felt nice, like a bath. I think the instructions should tell people to drink water before and after, just a hunch of mine.
Oh interesting that the instructions were slightly different for us. Also, I totally agree! I think it's important to make sure that you drink water and are well hydrated before using the sauna blanket.

What have you noticed and have you had any difference since using it?
@@reesea365 Pretty much all of the things that I mentioned in the video! It helps you burn calories, makes you sweat which helps to promote glowing skin and helps your body eliminate toxins. It's great for detoxing. It's also super relaxing. If I'm feeling stressed, using the sauna blanket at a level 5 or 6 which is warm but doesn't make me sweat as much as level 7, helps to calm me down. It has been such a great investment in my health. :)

I don't remember all of the makeup products that I was wearing in this video but I know the main products that I used. So the 2 videos linked above are makeup looks that are pretty similar to the makeup that I was wearing in this video. I was wearing the Kosas 10-Second Eyeshadow in Globe (though Kosas just reformulated their eyeshadows and changed the shade names) and the Kosas blush in contrachroma. For mascara, I believe I was wearing the Ilia limitless lash mascara. I hope that helps!

Yes! I always shower off to get the sweat off after using it so I can feel clean before going to bed.

Acne is a food allergy. Have you tried cutting gluten/dairy/soy/processed foods from your diet? I reversed mine and some cavities, and feel so much better! Good luck.
Hi Jessica! I'm so glad that modifying your diet has helped you with your skin. That's awesome! I totally agree that food can cause acne but I have learned that it's not the only thing that can contribute to it. Mineral levels and hormone levels can contribute as well. Cutting gluten, dairy, etc was probably one of the first things that I tried years and years ago. What I have learned after around 7 years of having acne is that you have to look further than just food, at least in my experience. I feel like for anyone with moderate to severe cystic acne, it normally requires looking deeper than just at food to really heal the body and the skin. But you are totally right that food can play a huge role in acne so eliminating gluten, dairy, soy and processed foods is a really great place to start.
Fortunately, I found a functional practitioner who has helped me get to the root cause of my acne. I did a hair mineral analysis test which helped me figure out my mineral levels and hormone levels. Then my functional practitioner gave me a protocol which consists of supplements, specifically for my needs based on my test results, diet recommendations, lifestyle changes and more. 90% of my acne has healed! Yay! Now, I'm mostly working on healing the leftover acne marks. :)
What is the level of EMF? Is this safe to use everyday? You mentioned your dr said this is safe?
It just says low EMF on their website so I'm not sure of the exact level of EMF. It also has non-toxic fabric layers for added protection.
Yes! You can use it everyday. Just listen to your body and adjust heat levels accordingly. If you feel overheated, then get out and just listen to what you're body is telling you. But yes! Higher DOSE says that it's safe to use everyday.

Just get one from wish it works perfectly and it’s cheap. Actually these expensive ones are getting it made in bulk from China and reselling it for super duper high
I really don't think that's true. Many of the sauna blankets that are sold for super cheap on websites like wish are made with toxic materials. The Higher Dose sauna blanket and their other products are made with high quality premium non-toxic fabrics.
I never sweat because of my health condition that's why I got this for detox and hopefully to sweat. I purchased this 2 years ago and its still in the box. we were going to move but never did so I got it out and now its under the bed in the box. I guess I was afraid to use it because I didn't know how. I am glad I watched this video to learn. One question does it need to plug into the wall? Im going to do this on the floor. I need to sweat and am hoping this will help me to heal. Also I'm a lot older than the women in the video :) But Im going to try it .

Hi Jarone! It does make you sweat a lot! It's so relaxing and really great for detoxing. It actually says on the Higher Dose website that infrared saunas help you detoxify 7x more than traditional saunas. The infrared sauna blanket helps to detoxify heavy metals, radiation and environmental toxins.
I personally haven't been using it for weight loss but I've heard that it can be really helpful for losing weight. I saw a video where the lady said that the sauna blanket in combination with a keto diet worked really well to help her lose weight.
When comparing the sauna blanket to a regular sauna, they are pretty similar. The thing that is so nice about the sauna blanket is that it is essentially like laying in a sleeping bag where you can relax but also break a good sweat. It's also something that you can use at home so if you know that it's something that you would use often, it's definitely worth the investment and will honestly save money in the long run.
I personally wouldn't really ever go to a spa to use a sauna so it's really nice to have something that I can use at home. Also, I feel like if you want to use a sauna on a consistent basis, going to a spa to use a sauna can be really pricey. I think that going to a spa to use a sauna would end up being way more expensive than the price of the sauna blanket, at least if you go often. Essentially, it does all of the same things that a regular sauna can do, except for it's more relaxing, you can do it at your own house and it's much more affordable in the long run.

I am looking to purchase the blanket, which one is better, higher dose or heat healer?
I am actually planning on doing a video comparing the Heat Healer sauna blanket and the Higher Dose Sauna Blanket soon! I personally like the Higher Dose sauna blanket better because it's more compact. The Heat Healer has some differences. It has a really large control unit for changing the temperature. I feel like that one may be better for spas or something just because it takes up more space and the control unit is also somewhat loud. I personally like that the Higher Dose sauna blanket has a small controller.

Hi Marina! Great questions! When it comes to medical questions, this is something you'd want to ask your doctor. The Higher DOSE website also mentions consulting your doctor if you have any medical related questions regarding using the device. Everyone is different so they can't give advice on these topics. Sorry if that's not super helpful but definitely asking your doctor is the best way to ensure if it is safe for certain health conditions.

I find that doing water enemas and/or coffee enemas works just as good as Infrared Sauna Blanket for detoxing and the health benefits that they offer.
That's great! I think one of the main benefits that the sauna blanket gives is that it makes you sweat which you can't get from enemas and I know some people might not want to do enemas. But that's great that you find it works for you! :)
@@DaniSmith405 I tried the infrared sauna by itself and with the enemas. I will have to say the best results are the combination of the three. When i did a water enema followed by a coffee enema and then did the infrared sauna i felt a huge difference.

I called a few places to see how much it would cost to go to the sauna around my area daily and I well umm yeah little pricey! Really pricey! My goal is to detox daily and blood circulation plus all the other benefits, so I purchased it and I hope it don’t take a month to get to me lol 😂 very curious if it’s going have me sweating. Ah so sorry for the late response! I thought I had answered but just saw that I didn't! I reached out to Higher DOSE and both the sauna blanket and their PEMF mat are made in Korea. 💚

You're so right! Their instruction book says not to put it at a level 9 unless none of the other levels make you sweat. Maybe they had a previous version of the sauna blanket that had a level 9 and they didn't update the instruction book. I hadn't felt the need to increase the level so I never tried to put it at a level 9 so I didn't realize that it doesn't even have a level 9. 😂 Thanks for letting me know!

For me, even level 7 makes me sweat and level 8 really makes me sweat! Have you tried staying in it for at least 30 minutes? My body usually starts really sweating after around 20 minutes.

@@NatalieBoat111 Oh wow! That seems so strange. Does it seem to heat up? Mine heats up a lot so that makes me wonder if yours is working. Since you just received it, I definitely recommend that you contact Higher Dose and let them know. If they think yours isn't working, I'm sure they can send you a new one! I also believe they have a warranty as well where if you have any issues within the first 90 days or something like that, they can send you a new one. At least, I think I saw that on one of the papers that came with the sauna blanket.
Is there a reason why u have it on the floor and not the bed?
I only used it on the floor for filming purposes! 😄 I always use it on my bed but my room is too small to film where I could show the entire sauna blanket in one frame easily so I had to use a different room to film. But I definitely recommend using it on a bed because that's the most comfortable way to use it!

@@Gud2B_Blessed You just want to be careful if you have a memory foam topper since the sauna blanket can melt it but I actually have a memory foam topper but I just put a few thick blankets on the bed then put the sauna blanket on it and I haven't had any issues with it causing the memory foam to melt or get messed up. But I guess it could mess up the memory foam.

Hi Mary! Yes, I think so! It closes in a way where you can adjust it so I think it should work well for many people.
For reference, here is the sizing information that is on the Higher Dose website. 71 x 71 inches (180 x 180 cm), unfolded. Maximum interior circumference when in use is approximately 65 inches (165 cm).
