- What is the best camera lens combination for a food video channel? The answer is going to be different for different people. But in this video we go over our journey from the time we started working on Bong Eats in 2015 to this year when we finally hit a million subscribers.
We also include basic tips for shooting great looking food videos.

Hi! Loved this video. Have always admired and appreciated your videography and editing aesthetics. The Sony a7III indeed possesses superb quality and usability. Its autofocus capacities are really great. However, you may try out the Fuji X system with the XT-4 coupled with the amazing Fuji X lenses before you make a final choice. It may offer a more cost effective system to invest in than the sony one.
Bong eats is just a synonym of enthusiasm for me.!! Both of you are boon to the society..

thank you for the video. have never noticed the difference of white balance in your early videos. your videos are perfect, my favorite cooking channel as for the style and audio, too. sometimes I just watch to relax 😃 though I watch only vegetarian recipes.

Wow this has been really helpful. Thank you so much for doing this video. Please do another video on artificial light setup. Filming videos in artificial light have been a nightmare for me especially due to the blown out highlights on metal utensils.

Best thing is about this channel is its not pretentious.
Although I agree with your points, still I believe that the brand of the camera is second in priority vs skills of the person who is using it.

Your perfect videos are what drew me and thousand others to your channel. And the most special thing was that the audio mostly included the sound of cutting vegetables or the subtle sound when vegetables get mushy. Interesting video but would love to see in more details about the use of light and artificial light in particular. We struggle with light for our videos and can totally relate to some of the early experiences that you have mentioned.

Hey...thanks a lot. Do you edit on Premier Pro o FCP? Also, do you grade your footage on your editing software or you use something like a DaVinci Resolve? I don't have a big budget but am planning to start making food videos using a Sony A6100? You think it's a good idea? Any budget cameras you can recommend?
