I don't blame her. You have to remember that Tina & Tiny are @ the very bottom of the monkey societal hierarchy. Like. Reddy w/Dopey, Tina's going to do everything she can to ensure Tiny's survival. Tiny's isn't weaned yet, so he still needs milk. The only way he's going to get that milk is if Tina can eat whatever she can get, so she has to get whatever she can for milk production. Part of the problem is people assigning human values to things monkey's have been doing for eons & eons. It may look brutal but that's the monkey way. Plus we see less than an hour out of their day.

Martha's eyes looked so sad & depressed. So glad Button is staying close by her. He looks sad too. Tiny looks like a hunchback? I believe there is something wrong with his hips & back as he clearly doesn't walk or move in a normal fashion?
Tina doesn't care anything about her babies until she wants to compulsively groom the baby or raid its pouches. She will scoop them up when she thinks their is danger but other than that, the baby is on its own trying to survive. She does not comfort the babies nor does she try to keep them warm on a cold day. She is the worst mother on Monkey Hill. In the beginning I would defend her but after watching so many of these videos with her interaction or the lack their of with her babies, I can no longer defend her. I feel sorry for all her babies. They are the ones that truly suffer. Whatever anyone gives Tina and her babies to eat, she stuffs her pouches, never allows her babies to eat what she drops and then with full pouches, she raids her babies pouches and takes what little they have. She disgusts me.

Rebekah Alex he's been missing since late November mid-December. Just like bossy junior he never showed up one day. Nobody knows what happened to him. It's absolutely heartbreaking isn't it he was such a special little guy. Arroz did a tribute video to him a few videos back you should go check it out but maybe have a box of tissues next to you

Hi Shelley, As much as it may sound preposterous to you now but he may still get something back in different form - milk. I still think Tiny gets to nurse at his age but probably not as frequent as he used to - he should be about 5-6 months old here though he appears to be a lot smaller than other babies at his age. And there's another reason to be optimistic - I document and help the best I could at this time of scarcity but I'm not the only one - as far as I know there is one dedicated man who comes to Monkey Hill every other day to feed all the troops along the road early in the evening. He comes in his big range rover packed full of goodies for them. According to my buddy he spends almost 2 hours there every time and stops along the road to hand out about 100 kg of food to them, and the majority goes to Skull Head's troop as it's the biggest there. He's the one that keep the monkeys from starving..... I hope you will find comfort in finding this out. Some of the locals really care for them too.....
Also Shelly tiny wouldn't be as active as he is if he was truly starving, yes he could do wi the more food, as would his mother, but if there's nothing left because of seasons he will have to pull his own weight. Mom cannot produce milk unless she is fed! It may seem harsh to us for her to yank food from him, but it benefits them both! Also don't know what goes on the rest of the day the VO is not filming, there might be other people feeding them, which sucks for tiny because he's rank is so low he will be attacked if he tries to get food. Look at the giant scar on mom's face- she gets attacked all the time! She is not a bad mom, if you want to see bad moms, look at the money Dailey videos and see how screwed up those monkeys are because of the huge amounts of tourists who have fed them so much they don't know how to be a monkey! Nature is cruel, and too much human interaction will be more harmful then beneficial, leave the monkeys be and let them be monkeys!
