I know this is a couple years old product and video. But just ordered one of these from you guys and installed it on a cheap Ibanez that really plays great, but the electronics are worn out out on, and will say this pickup is awesome! The effects sound really good! Only tried it unplugged so far, as I wanted to give it a full charge first before plugging it in. Took me about 20 mins to install. Would have been less if my arm was skinnier, or the sound hole was bigger! Lol! Got it in three days from you guys! Very happy so far! Thanks!
How cool. Easy to install guitar effects for my acoustic that doesn't need any real mods to my Martin. Can't wait for my next camping trip and freak out my friends with all the effects.
Very good and helpful video. Are you satisfied with the pickup system and what model is it? What is the name of that Larry Carlton song you are playing at the beginning and ending of your video? What album is it on?
Cool however..I HATE dealing with batteries. There's nothing more annoying than running out of battery during a performance. Suggestion...why not equip the device with a xlr connection to hook to pa so the pa can supply phantom power..then no dead battery issues.
It still need to be drilled out. The demo guitar was a non-electric Taylor. They cleverly drill all the guitars out to 1/2" at the factory, and install a metal stud where the jack would go. The strap button screws into the stud. As the video mentions, there is a leather rig that holds a jack that can be put over the end pin.
O.k. this question is nothing to do with your video. i don't know who to ask. I have an older Yamaha keyboard which I love and still works incredibly well. I'ts a Yamaha PSR-510 I have tried to connect the keyboard to my computer but i can not get the software and the keyboard to work correctly. I bought a MIDI plug that has a USB connection that you can plug into the USB port of the computer and my software won't recognize the keyboard. i don't think it's compatible since the keyboard is 25 year old. It has an Auxiliary out plug and a MIDI in and MIDI out and that's all the connection it has in the back. I use the Auxiliary out plug that I connect directly into a Beheringer amp unit and then I connect from the Beheringer amp unit to the external Tascom compact disc recorder. I would like to be able to record directly from the keyboards MIDI out plug. I think the MIDI would record better quality sound- would it not? What kind of device would I need to connect from the keyboard with the MIDI and then into the CDR unit? My Beheringer amp doesn't have a MIDI input. At some point I want to buy a new keyboard but I'm trying to save money to buy a nice keyboard. Any suggestions?
Hello Angel, For the specs on the item, you may want to reach out to Yamaha support directly. However, as far as MIDI goes - to record with MIDI you'd need to run a MIDI cable from your device to your computer, often done through an interface. This would then feed the MIDI data into a computer and you'd have to run that through a virtual instrument to create the audio file. If you have questions on this and need to get some gear to make it happen, give us a call at 800-458-4076. We'd be happy to help. Thanks! - Gabe

Did you miss installing the washer and lock washer (found in the packing attachment) to the interior section of the end pin jack?
Think they will make one that also has looper function in the future?
is there anything similar for contrabass (double bass)?

Charging port is on the front of the pickup… just remember to charge it before your gigs…
Hi, nice video. Doest it work OK with nylon strings?
Seems easy enough to install.
is that resonance speaker?
Do you still have to drill the strap button hole out to 1/2 inch to install the end pin jack or is it smaller?
