I've lost 110 pounds since October 2022 by utilizing intermittent fasting and walking every day. I was 330 pounds when I started, so it certainly wasn't easy to walk, let alone skip meals.I have since stopped taking blood pressure medication, heartburn medicine, and stopped using my CPAP machine. Oh, and I quit smoking in the middle of the process and continued to lose weight. If you're reading this, be encouraged. If I can do it, so can you.
You're 100% correct on eating less meals for treating cancer, i also had the beginning stage 4, i research ways of fighting cancer and fasting does work, i was given 3 years and its been 5 years and my PSA is so far undetected of my cancer coming back. Ialso walk 2.5 miles everyday. Thanks for helping people in need,
For the last 2 years, I've had cysts in my breast that were troublesome, and my doctors were monitoring them closely. I began intermittent fasting and those cysts have shrunk significantly. I'm a believer for sure.
This is so encouraging to read. I had small ones a couple years ago; nothing they worried about, but it gave me pause. I haven’t been back yet for another scan, but feel way better ever after only 3 days so far on 16/8 IF and clean keto. 🙏🏼
Starting yesterday I am eating one meal a day and trying to limit carbs and eat high veg meals and protein. I’m overweight and I’m only 27. Need to get into shape as I have my wedding in the summer so the journey starts now
Congratulations. Keep moving . Cut down on the sugar & stick to small meals , no snacking , I have lost weight & feel great less heavy mood swings . Listening to all Dr. Bergs videos gives me advice & a boot to change my mindset to healthy positive living. To me it's now a life change as enjoying . Not saying I don't eat goodies but it's a treat now not everyday 😂
This is exactly how and what I did, lost 60 pounds! If it worked for me I believe it can work for anyone, first few days were rough but your body will get use to it before you know it... roasted vegetables like brussel sprouts with EVOO salt and pepper are excellent in healing and to satiety Good luck to you!😊
@@FLAMENCODELACOSTA he's telling the truth. I was also on BP meds. I've stopped using them in just 3days on intermittent fasting and the blood pressure has stabilised.
@@loboyd691 my problem wasn’t so much my diet even though I ate lots of carbs and sugar. My main problem was snacking all day long. Now I eat a good snack at 9:45 am and my heavy healthy meal at 2:30 pm and I am done.
I just completed my 7 day (168 hour) fast today!! I lost 10 pounds this week alone and 20 pounds overall in the last 2 months. The hardest part of this prolonged fast was the hunger urges & pains in the first 2-4 days, but after that I felt amazing once I was in full ketosis! The mental clarity, energy, and no hunger urges in the last few days has been remarkable. I'll continue to do intermittent fasting, but I plan on doing a prolonged fast (at least 3-7 days) once or twice a year. It really makes you realize how much excess, unnecessary food you're eating.
Thanks, Doc! I'm 63 now and started intermittent fasting and a ketogenic diet in July of 2023. I've lost 60 lbs so far and feel fantastic. My allergies are gone, and my joints feel better. My wife started after seeing me loose 20 lbs. She has now lost 35 lbs. We tell everyone about this lifestyle change and about your site! Thanks again.
@ThisIsNuckingFuts I do like my whiskey, and I do enjoy a dram or two every so often. However, I did wait until my body started healing itself from all the garbage (sugars and grains) I had been eating. Now we enjoyed the holidays and ate whatever we wanted, but to tell you the truth. All the carbs and sugars made me feel lousy. I feel so much better now I'll never go back to eating the way I use to.
@mattlacasse5828 exactly right! We don't feel like we've been dieting. It's simply a change in what we eat and when. No more sugars, grains, seed oils. We've added fermented foods and vegetables to all my BBQ 😆. I realize now, what we use to eat was poisoning our bodies. Dr Berg can't say this because he'll be canceled, but I can. The FDA dietary guideline are a lie! Bought and paid for by special interests in the food and pharmaceutical industry.
I've been intermittent fasting for over 10 years now. After Michael Mosley talked about it. I've recently noticed I never feel hungry. I can't remember the last time I felt hungry. My normal feeding window is noon to 6pm, but I often stop around 4pm as I physically feel I've eaten enough that day. I skip breakfast and have a main meal to break my fast. I don't snack much during the feeding window - I just don't feel the need anymore. I'm trying to listen to what my body wants. I'm over 50, no meds. Happy fasting to all who fast! Thanks for a fabulous film.
@@seatime674I have done it for 7 days. I mean even at 3 days I don’t see how anyone can think it’s healthy. I start feeling weak and lightheaded. By the fourth day I don’t feel hungry at all so it’s like basically killing yourself.
Started fasting and working out in 2022 with ur videos and quit alcohol for good. Lost 100 pounds and still hitting the gym Monday thru Friday looking good now thank you dr
I started intermittent fasting as of Jan 11, 2023. I am a dialysis patient so I have to watch everything I eat because of phosphorus., and my numbers were always high and nomatter what i did I could not lower my numbers with phosphorus or blood pressure 210/120. Well i started fasting only eating one meal per day, always protien, vegetables, fruit, and plenty of water and green teas. I also added mushroom like cordyceps, lions mane, Reshi, turmeric, and a multi vitamin, and I cut out all sugar and salt. All my numbers have improved big time! My blood presure is now at 116/67 and my phosphorus is at 3.2 which was 9.8.. and my kidney are coming back to life.I went from 360' to 200' in just a year in a half❤. Is it a miracle I dont know, but all i can say is Fasting has made me better, and improved my health in just a year in a half. This is now my life style..❤❤❤And I know if i could do it anybosy could. MY MOTIVATION IS, I CHOOSE TO LIVE❤ God bless you all.
I did fasting for the whole year, and I don't remember catching cold and flu the entire time.. Prior to that, cold and flu was my best friend - never seemed to leave me alone
ALL TRUE! Last year, I went on a 40-Days and 40-Nights Water Fast and lost close to 50lbs. When I decided I was going to fast this long, I did watch your videos on fasting. I typically watched your videos for keto etc. The first day was fine, the second day sucked and I wanted McDonald's but persevered. 3rd day halfway through is when my breakthrough came. It was like someone took jumper cables and attached them to a battery. I all of a sudden got all of my energy back and then some. Each day after that through the 6th day, it seemed like my energy doubled. I was drinking 2 liters of electrolytes and water (tablespoon or two or salt and no salt. Sometimes I had black coffee and zero-sugar Powerade (I know, I know). My glucose levels from day 1 went from 299 to totally stabilized at 70-80 on Day 6, and stayed there the rest of the fast. I was losing 2lbs per day for most of the fast, and 1-1/2lbs other days. Two things did intrigue me though. Two separate times, I woke up in the middle of the night with blood in my mouth that was gel-like. I found out after seeing it the second time, it looked like the blood came from a part of my muller tooth. I did have a part of that tooth break off. I was also using keto sticks for my urine, and after a week, those sticks were deep purple every day to the point that I really didn't need to measure my ketones every day. Day 31 and another day I sometimes got woozy when I got up from sitting. Make sure you have plenty of activities and hobbies and new skills to learn when fasting because you're going to learn just how much we in Western culture plan everything around eating. Too much to post in a comment, but fasting and autophagy work. I think I might still have the video short in my RUclips bio showing my transformation.
I am 41 years old and have started my intermittent fasting journey since August 28th, 2023 when I weighed 350 pounds. I now weigh 265 pounds and I’m loving it. I fast for about 23 hours a day, and I follow the healthy ketogenic diet. There are about 14 other educators at the university where I am employed at who have been encouraged to change their lifestyles after seeing my results. Thank you Dr. Berg for all of the valuable information that you share. P.S - I also do NOT have a thyroid gland since 2022 and that hasn’t prevented my progress
@@bigbouncer2150 I started at 51; you're so much more ahead of the game for starting 10 years earlier!!! By 51 you'll be _completely _*_transformed_* many times over.
i remember my grandpa said "if you wanna lose weight just skip dinner"... and it worked, skippin dinner meant to fast for 18 hrs everyday, we have been doing this for generations but we didnt call it fasting
Thank you for skipping DINNER. All these fasting gurus want me to skip breakfast and it doesn't work for me. Much easier to skip dinner. Breakfast like a king, lunch like a peasant, dinner like a pauper.
Oh yeah. I find that when I miss dinner, I'm not feeling like I'm starving during breakfast time and still have energy. But when I eat dinner, dang, 6 in the morning, I'm already starving and can barely do my morning walk.
I've been watching your videos on intermittent fasting since last May and I've lost 82lbs. 5ft 8 252lbs to 170lbs today. Thanks Doc. You are spreading information the public needs.
The whole system is broken!!! I’m a nurse and I’m so angry about all the lies!!! It’s not healthCARE THANK YOU DR BERG FOR SHARING these amazing simple truths
I healed a severe, asthmatic histamine intolerance by IF and prolonged fasting in about 5 months. I'm still healing (my rosacea is almost gone meaning my gut is about "there") after 13 months total in this lifestyle. Almost healed, but certainly never "done" with fasting - I LOVE IT! 52 and in the best shape of my life. *Thank you, Dr. Berg for all your critical guidance on my journey!*
@@Five0Five _Excellent!_ I'm so happy for your immediate success!!! Keep up the _great work!_ By the way, I get the most relief from my rosacea when I eat a higher complex, nature's carb diet than strict keto (which I was doing for 11 months with marvelous results) and other pitta-balancing foods and practices since I've recently learned rosacea is sign of pitta (fire) imbalance in the Ayurvedic tradition. Living and learning as we go along!
@@spirituallight6619 Part of the routine is not having a rut style routine; your body adapts and then you don't get the benefit you got at first from your routine so I shake it up. For the 5-6 months I was healing most dramatically I did about 80% OMAD (one meal a day) and 20% 2MAD (16:8). I didn't do that on purpose, per se, but I kept a diary and when I ran the numbers that's what it came out to. During that time I did probably 4 extended fasts from 3- to 5-days long (all water fasts, no dry) yet. When I was eating I ate an omnivorous, mostly organic, pastured animal and clean vegetable diet that was between 20 - 50 carbs a day. No added sugar, no alcohol, no processed food. None. I had a severe problem and I was bound and determined to fix it. I also took "Naked Glutamine" which helps with gut lining rebuild. And, your "standard" vitamins and minerals; I'm not listing the regular old stuff I take, it's not worth it. You can search Dr. Berg's channel for vitamins and minerals he recommends. I also get regular exercise, aerobic and anaerobic. I got a rebounder for lymphatic health and use that regularly. And we got a puppy after 8 months post-losing our beloved first dog. Now that I'm healed for the most part I'm learning the nuances of MY body and what I PERSONALLY need. And, for now, it's more complex carbs. I'm tending to fast "hard" the first 10 days of my cycle (either with a 3- to 5-day water fast, or a 1- to 2-day dry fast, or OMAD every day for 10 days...something like that and low carb. The rest of the month I'm doing probably 100 g of carb a day, but still clean, whole foods, no added sugar or processed junk. Hope that helps! I don't really have a regular "morning to night" routine, but I do get up at 5:30 every morning and go to bed around 9 every night.
@@spirituallight6619 I've answered twice...did you see them before they got zapped? Anyway, I'll pare it way down. I did OMAD 80% of the time, 2MAD (16:8) 20% of the time unless I was doing a prolonged fast which I did 8 times over the course of the year; they were 3- to 5.5-day water fasts. Plus a 3-day dry fast (the latest prolonged fast I've done). As for eating, I'm super clean omnivorous with almost NO added sugar (only complex, nature's carbs). At first I did SUPER LOW CARB), but now I'm still super clean, no added "outside" sugar or processed anything, but I'm NOT "low carb." And I'm not fasting as much, but I AM extremely mindful of the MMC (migrating motor complex) - do your own research on that. I keep 4 hours between calorie consumption times ("meals"). I've kept off the 25 lbs I lost in the first 6 months. I'm muscular (thank you, HGH and stem cells), lean (thank you fasting and being mindful of insulin spiking), female, 5'2", 104 lbs. Instead of trying to find a magic bullet perfect schedule and food, etc, I urge you to get in tune with your OWN BODY and take all the advice "out there" and tailor it to what ends up working for you. It's a PROCESS. Best wishes!
I went and got a physical in Oct/23 because I was feeling light headed and had chest pains. My Dr told me my blood pressure was super high and he would like for me to go on medication. I ask him to give me 2 months and if nothing changes I would start the medication. 2 months later 12/23 I’ve lost over 20 pounds doing 16/8 fasting and when I went back to see him. He was stunned and call me a “success story”. No medication for me. Fasting works 👍

@@techphile3262 @techphile3262 Yes. But I was not in a state of Ketosis. Low carbs and Ketosis are totally different. Ketosis requires a carb consumption of below roughly 50g per day, depending on the individual. I was eating more than that, so I was not in ketosis, but I did lower my carbs as I wanted to reduce sugars, which are created by carbs. I at on average 70 - 100 grams a day. Which is high for Keto. The body would kick you out of ketosis straight away at that level.
I was born in Europe in the Christian orthodox family. Every year, my grandma used to fast for one month before the Eastern, and a couple of times during the year before other minor holidays, eating only one meal a day such as: beans with sauerkraut, some vegetables and bread. As long as I remember, she always used to say that it was at the fasting time that she felt the best. Lived to age of 96.

Russian Orthodox here. We have the same! Have two major fasting periods throughout the year: Great lent (before Easter) and Nativity fast ( before Christmas), that last around 50 days each and two shorter ones that last about 3 weeks ( Apostle fast and Dormition fast). It is always hard to start them as the cravings for meat, dairy and other animal products drive one insane but towards the end one achieves such a state of lightness with mental clarity and increased energy that you won't stop wondering with the transformation of yourself! Oh and yes, every Wednesday and Friday are the fasting days as well! So literally, half of the year is spent fasting. Cheers to my fellow Orthodox brothers and sisters 👋

I was in a much better frame of mind and my thoughts were much clearer..no brain fog. I highly suggest you do it! Before you kniw it you aren't hungry any more and you drop the weight!
Go for it as hard as you can. Focus on carnivore diet too. And keto is good but focus on animal protein and fat. Carbs and snacking kills us. Dr berg is not promoting carnivore super much. He is more keto diet. But for healing he promotes carnivore.
It will help. Get some walking in there too. So good for anxiety and depression. Trust me, I know. Be sure to stay hydrated. And by hydrated I mean adding Himalayan or Celtic salt to your water, tea, etc. All the best on your journey. Last but not least talk to God and ask him to help you. He’s listening. Allow the fasting let you let go of your worries, let go of it all! Including your self/ego. Ask Jesus Christ to reveal Himself to you l. God bless you

Hello from the UK, Dr Berg. I have just finished a 5 day fast again. It's something I do quite often. During my fast, I exercise each day for at least 30 minutes (sometimes 1 hour) on my cross-trainer at home. The energy I have whilst fasting is just astounding. I feel I could go on for a lot longer, but I have to be sensible and don't want to get burnt-out. By the way, I am 56 years old and I am told very often I look around 40! I also have a body which most young men would want too 😉 Thank you as always. Simon

I’m healthier now than ever and now weigh 175. I FEEL GREAT!!! Everyday I do some form of exercise plus my walking. Sit-ups, stretching and light weight lifting. Please give this serious consideration.
Beautifully presented. Everyone takes advantage of fasting, whether they know it or not especially when you get the flu or something similar and you lose your appetite. It is because your body knows the benefits of fasting. Some people get bogged down at work and realize “Oh, I haven’t eaten all day.”Not realizing the reason that they’re not hungry is because their body has tapped into their fat stores. Once you don’t consume food up to the 13 hour mark, that is the average for when your body taps into its fat store. One reason, your body uses its night of sleep as a repair phase is because it is taking advantage of the fasting state that you are in while sleeping. all the energy used for eating and digesting food is direct towards the healing of your body. so many benefits, I am 53 years of age and thriving off of this. I started my fasting journey 2 years ago. I also exercised (because we all should to some degree no matter what), but it helped me shed a lot of weight fairly quickly, and I omitted the refined carbs in my feeding windows. I will also say, last year, I did a 21-day clean fast, and it helped correct some of my sight in my left eye. Starting is TOUGH because we are used to expecting food, but once you get past that hump (for me, it's the first 24 hours of major struggling), it gets easier. It changes how you perceive food. Keep up on the (pink Himalayan) salt. You just feel better all around...physically and mentally. Absolutely worth it.
@Silence_between_waves Hi! The body needs all kinds of things that it isn't getting while fasting. The feeding windows replenish any missing nutrients. Himalayan pink salt has a lot more minerals, and I personally think it tastes better than regular table salt. 🙏
@michelleo8124 Hi! A clean Fast is liquids with no calories. I did water and decaf coffee. I will say, I didn't start off like that. I babied my way into it for about a year. I started with dirty Fasts (liquids with calories and no added sugars) and worked my way through. 🙏
Hi Helen, what doe you mean when you said you corrected some of your sight in the left eye? Do you have any myopia or astigmatism in your eye? I am also on IF for almost 2 years now and I was thinking whether a prolonged fasting would help me in improving my vision and reducing astigmatism. Thank you!
@horiazan2759 Hi! I do have astigmatism in my left eye. I just happened to have an eye appt a month after I broke my 21 day Fast and my prescription improved. 🙏

I started my 8 - 16 fasting over a year ago and I’m going to the gym regularly. I lost in the first 10 months more than 50kg/100 pounds. I went from 125kg/250 pounds with 32% bodyfat to 76kg/152 pounds with 11% bodyfat and gained a lot of muscles (my lowest weight was 72kg/144pounds). I have no desire or „temptations“ for junk food or eating a snack while reading books. I try to eat as ketogenic as possible and I don’t buy bread anymore, I’ve never been sick since then and I’m full of energy and hadn’t had any „unusual“ muscle pain at all (they’re only sore after a gym session but that’s how it should be). I skip my OMAD twice, and the five meals per week I am eating are all KETO. I go to the gym six times, go to the sauna daily, and get a massage once a week. I had never felt that good and productive before. Thank you for the inspiration Doc!
@@Drberg Thank you so much. Can't thank you enough. I feel energetic, active. My skin feels like a 10 year old kid and the best thing that has happened to me is my hairfall has stopped. Also , my sleep pattern has improved a lot.

This is one of the best fasting video out there. Very informative. After a few weeks into intermittent fasting, I stop feeling hungry and my one meal a day becomes really focused on the most nutrient food to eat. It’s really easy to plan my one nutrient meal

I was at 306 lbs back in 2022. I’m currently at 214 lbs even though I stopped intermittent fasting for a few months. Time to get back on it. So many benefits! I also reversed nigricans acanthosis! Overall feeling amazing!
Thank you, Dr. Berg!❤ This video is so thorough. I think you’ve covered all the angles concerning fasting in one video, and you’ve made it easy to understand. I’ve tried to share with people why fasting works and all the benefits but now I can just share the video! Have a awesome day!😊
I've been following dr. Berg for few years now. I started in 2021 at 115kg and dropped to 100kg pretty quick. I was loosing 200gm a day, on average. Until i didn't anymore. But i didn't give up. I thought this is good enough, im feeling better so i kept going with intermittent fasting and keto diet. Slowly i got to 93kg now and i feel excellent. Now im trying to fast for 3 days. Depending how i feel after these 3 days, i will decide if i keep going to 7 days. Thank you dr. Berg. Im sure you saved me a lot of pain and suffering. Im a huge fan...
This was a nice video. I have been going thru prostate cancer for 2 years now. My PSA when i started was 98.4 and gleason score of 8. Although i do fasting twice a week, i am going to try this prolonged fasting. My PSA was down to .34 but has recently started to climb to .54. I will try prolonged fasting and see if that helps. Thank you for all of your videos.
I started keto 9 days ago, went down 4 lbs already and I haven’t even began exercising. My belly went down considerably as well as bloatness went away and I’m no longer anxiously eating where I was snacking here and there throughout the day. I’m skipping breakfast every so often and really just eating when I feel hungry. I’m not in full keto as I’m keeping my daily carbs under 50g. It’s definitely working!
I'm one month into a third attempt at the Keto Diet. This post is for those who may have had similar short-lived attempts. Attempt number 1 was great. Initial weight loss 40 lbs. but went back to over indulging carbs. Attempt 2 was weaker and disappointing. I thought that I'd already played my one and only Keto Diet card. Attempt 3... calm. Easy-ish. Went into ketosis almost immediately. Down to one slice of homemade bread per day. Fasting 16 to 20 hours. Walking. In short, it doesn't feel like a diet at all. Went full-on Carnivore for eight days, so that may be the crucial difference this time. *That* is very difficult. But a relaxed Keto Diet is working out pretty nicely this time around. Glad I found this channel. Subscribed.
I was lucky. BP normalized after just few months of IF. That too without keto.
I just completed my 7 day (168 hour) fast today!! I lost 10 pounds this week alone and 20 pounds overall in the last 2 months.
What is your eating windows fantastic
I've been intermittent fasting for over 10 years now. After Michael Mosley talked about it. I've recently noticed I never feel hungry. I can't remember the last time I felt hungry. My normal feeding window is noon to 6pm, but I often stop around 4pm as I physically feel I've eaten enough that day. I skip breakfast and have a main meal to break my fast. I don't snack much during the feeding window - I just don't feel the need anymore. I'm trying to listen to what my body wants. I'm over 50, no meds. Happy fasting to all who fast! Thanks for a fabulous film.

You only eat once a day? What's your int.fasting? I'm curious

Almost healed, but certainly never "done" with fasting - I LOVE IT! 52 and in the best shape of my life. *Thank you, Dr. Berg for all your critical guidance on my journey!*

Living and learning as we go along!
@@allhimwithme5115 could you please tell me your routine? From morning to night
At first I did SUPER LOW CARB), but now I'm still super clean, no added "outside" sugar or processed anything, but I'm NOT "low carb."
And I'm not fasting as much, but I AM extremely mindful of the MMC (migrating motor complex) - do your own research on that.
I was born in Europe in the Christian orthodox family. Every year, my grandma used to fast for one month before the Eastern, and a couple of times during the year before other minor holidays, eating only one meal a day such as: beans with sauerkraut, some vegetables and bread.

Have been doing it for 6 months and oh wow I am 64 and since starting my menopause at 45 have never seen my feet my bloating and stomach were huge now all that has gone I can see my feet again I am so happy and yep the hunger has gone I eat at 12.20pm and 5.30pm … migraines are reducing too and my hip arthritis and my gut health has improved no more IBS symptoms
I have been doing OMAD (one meal a day) for the last two years. Best decision in my life. Lost several kilos and felt more active and energetic. Moreover, spent less time and money and simplified my life.
I never thought much about my health until i came across your videos a couple years ago!!! It has changed my life!!
Awesome 👏 Thanks for sharing!
I started doing this 13 weeks ago. Just ran across this video on recommendation. I've lost 44 pounds so farm I've got energy think clearly, and depression gone. Ligit resented my mood and body.
That story where the man's life was saved by fasting is SO wonderful!
Thanks. Gad you like it. Have a nice day!

Incredible right!?
@@zaakirabdulsuthar Truly! I love fasting so much.

💯The system is broken. God bless you Dr. Berg. Thank you for the education on health and nutrition! This should be taught in schools, everywhere! ❤️❤️🙏🏼😊
I just went 22 hours without food and couldn’t believe how good I feel!😎🌿
Dr., I feel peaceful just listening to you. Thankyou
Wow! I hope that helps!
Gonna try this & I hope it works. Depression, anxiety and being overweight are ruining everything in my life.
I lost 95 lbs! I was never hungry; before I was constantly eating. I got all kinds of energy where before just sat. My arthritis, fibromyalgia and copd improved greatly.
God bless you
Yes. Some of Dr Berg’s videos /articles on depression and on anxiety, on b1, unfortified nutritional yeast may be of interest. As a starting point.
Walking really improves mood as well❤💯
I just find it so refreshing to hear the truth about fasting and health.
Brilliant video. I'm on day 2 of fasting
Been doing intermittent fasting (8/16) for 4yrs now and it feels great.
Did you see results in any health issues?
@@SmilePlease0073 i have no health issue, been working out for 14yrs already i believe intermittent fasting helps your body to rest more because you eat in short window time, so thats the feeling great magic happens, intermittent fasting is healing brother, you need to get used to it.
Dear Dr. Berg, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible impact your RUclips channel has had on my life. Over the past year and a half, your insights on nutrition and fasting have been invaluable. Thanks to your guidance, I've lost 85lbs and adopted a much healthier lifestyle. Your dedication to sharing knowledge has truly made a difference in my journey. Thank you for being a source of inspiration and education!
amazing!
Dr. Sebi talked about the benefits of fasting decades ago. I love your channel & how you break things down scientifically... Good to see people learning.
I also have a body which most young men would want too 😉
Thank you as always.
Simon
Well done.
That’s hot ❤❤

Nice one mate 👍
Currently just wrapping up a 6 day water fast. I think doing 5 day fasts a few times a year is a great way to encourage vitality.
@carl8568 Thanks for the comments.
Well done mate.
My first day of my next 4/5 day fast. Not sure if I cam go as long as 6/7. Will see how I feel ;)

Excellent,informative video!
I'm definitely an advocate.
I feel great and have lost 26 lbs and all inflammation on keto/carnivore + intermittent fasting. My fasting window is usually from 2pm-8am. Most days I'm only OMAD & seldom feel hungry. Lots of water.
If we'd only listen to our bodies!
Thank you for having the courage to speak out
It's nothing. Glad to share this info.

Your expertise has greatly enhanced my health. I'm forever grateful for you and your videos. Thanks for everything. God Bless you Dr. Berg, your the absolute best Dr. I never had.
I’m 68. Weighed 218 when I retired in 2017. I’m 5’9”. Started IF partly because I was released from years of stress. Didn’t realize it was IF. Then I really started losing weight. My aches and pains started to decrease (greatly). Then I started to research eating less and less frequently. Started walking, really cut carbs. Found experts like Dr. Berg and it was on. I’m healthier now than ever and now weigh 175. I FEEL GREAT!!! Everyday I do some form of exercise plus my walking. Sit-ups, stretching and light weight lifting. Please give this serious consideration.
Awesome 👏 Thanks for sharing! 🎉🎉
I am 90% plant based Currently, nothing is wrong with me. Started eating healthy and fasting at the age of 39 Obesity, high blood pressure, gingivitis and joint pain is gone. No telling what else I would’ve had by now if I didn’t change my ways. Very nice video doctor.
Congratulations champ
I have been following you since last year but started following your your tips and i lost 3 pounds around my belly. My husban is doing the same. We are so happy with the changes we are seeing in our body and health. Thank you😍 😊😊
Amazing. Thanks for following my tips. Are you guys doing keto and IF?
Such a good video! My vision improved to the point that I no longer need glasses for distance or reading and I am 63. I would like to add that the I still take fiber and supplements and heavy cream in my coffee with prolonged fasting. Also, I add probiotics during fasting to keep the gut biome alive and healthy.
That's awesome!

Thank you Dr.B. I started following your channel a year ago and I lost 30 Kg (66 pounds) so far just by quiting carbs, sugars & eating one meal a day. Gratitude Dr Berg, fantastic advice, fasting becomes easier especially if you keep yourself busy. I’m going to incorporate 36 hour fast. 🙏
I found this channel about 2 years ago, and it has completely changed my life! I look and feel 10 years younger! Im now strong, I grew my hair back, fixed my posture, improved my skin health, and above all, gained my confidence back. Thankyou Doctor ❤
I like to read good news on internet!👌☀️🍀🙋♀️
That’s more information than even the company has given us. Great job
Hi @helenward77, what does a 21 day clean fast entail?
I Love your work Dr. Berg! My Favourite Teacher !
I Share your name often! I try not to preach to people so I have to hold back but I will lead them to you! Practicing on myself as I must practice what I preach. The sugar and the chemicals in the food really mess with the mind! Abstinence really is the key for me ! This is a very personal journey and as they say ‘nothing worthwhile is easy’ to navigate this crazy world and self educate and keep an open mind. Ramble over! Thank you Dr.! I am so passionate about all of your topics!
Awesome 👏 We can’t force our loved ones to be curious 🧐 We can, however, answer people who do have questions. Those are improving their lives and their environment. They may touch our loved ones, even if very indirectly.
Im 41 yrs old. Started OMAD about 10 weeks ago. Lost 10kg already. Need only 4kg more to be within my bmi level. Thanks for your constant advice, Dr Berg!🙏🏾
I learned a lot about the cleanest fasting thanks to you Dr. Berg! Thank you so much for sharing this! Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Congratulations on your achievement mate. I have started a similar journey on Jan 10. Gotta lose 40 kgs. 😢 I'm doing 16:8 IF. I'm eating 500-800 grams of beef, 5 eggs and rice, brocolli and brown bread. Am I overeating? I feel so

I’ve been eating once a day for going on three years now. I was diagnosed diabetic around that time but am not being medicated because my regimen of one meal a day keeps my A1C below 7. I also exercise every day - nothing fancy, just fifty push-ups and fifty squats every day.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge
No problem. Glad to share this video.
I was getting ready to give up on my three day fast till I felt that I should look up fasting and your platform poped up after I listing I decided to keep on with it. Thank you sir and God bless
I know a lot about fasting and I've seen your videos but this video needs to be a cover video for everyone to immediately see because it's everything in one! We'll done Dr. Berg!!!
Intermittent fasting has been one of the best decisions in my life. Lost 40 LB - eating 2 meals /day. It works for me. Make sure I eat the right foods. Feeling good. Thank you Dr. Berg for your wonderfully educational videos.
I just started my RUclips channel to share my experience of fasting. Dr. Berg has been a significant influence all along my fasting journey. He's the one who inspired me to get on the ketogenic diet. Once I combined fasting and KETO, the entire experience reached a new dimension. KETO was the missing piece for me. At the moment, I do an 18:6 five days a week. I skip my OMAD twice, and the five meals per week I am eating are all KETO. I go to the gym six times, go to the sauna daily, and get a massage once a week. I had never felt that good and productive before. Thank you for the inspiration Doc!
Started my water fasting with effect from today. Targeting for 21 days. Guys wish me luck.
Wishing you all the best!

It's funny you post this bc I was so fed up last night. Literally lol that I decided to start fasting today. First time was amazing. This time I'm way more aware of how to do it so.. should be nice. Thanks.
I have been eating only one meal a day for a few years now, it’s changed my life for the better. Also every so often I do a prolonged fast for 2-3 days.
I got into this following some knee surgery and my recovery was very fast.
Amazing how powerful this technique is.
Hello friend, I’m thinking of going to one mill a day. Can you share in a few sentences what your routine is? Was it hard to transition to one mill a day? Thanks in advance.
I’m 70 and for most of my life have only eaten one meal a day can’t remember the last time I had the flu, didn’t even get Covid either
I went for a routine blood test, I was told my white blood cells was low. Started 36 hour fast once a week, a month later went back for blood test. Boom white blood cells now optimal level. Cell regeneration. By the way, thanks Dr Berg.
I was at 306 lbs back in 2022. I’m currently at 214 lbs even though I stopped intermittent fasting for a few months. Time to get back on it. So many benefits! I also reversed nigricans acanthosis! Overall feeling amazing!

Good effort. Straight water fasting you can easily lose 600-800g per day. All the best.

Ok! Some of the other Dr Berg’s videos /articles on the prostate provides more data.
21 days! Do it!
Work your way up, start with a couple of days, then 3, 5, 7+ and you'll make a lot of progress. All the best.
Love this, been doing this for about 3 years now. Dont touch food before 1pm and a half gallon of hot water every morning to improve digestion.
Thank you! You are the best! Love you ❤man! Keep up with the great work. All the Love ❤,all the Power.

Subscribed.
I started fasting on December 20 last year, as for right now I have lost 23 pounds, so yeah it works. I feel more energetic and happy
