    Just so all are aware, at the end tokido did not cancel the standing light kick into super as a hit confirm, that is next to impossible. He did a quarter circle forward input and then pressed light kick, and during the light kick animation he inputted a fireball, so that if the light kick connects it would cancel into the super. If it doesn't connect it would just be a standing light kick. It was more of an advanced footsie tool. And yes, it was amazing.

    • @SomeMonsterz
      @SomeMonsterz 8 лет назад +9

      Farhan Ahmed
      Indeed, but if it had been blocked, the super would have still come out. I think seeing Ken start his run animation helped Tokido react.

    • @fad2679
      @fad2679 8 лет назад

      Possibly, though if I were to put my money on it I think Tokido just threw the light kick out there with a 'hidden' super cancel in the hope that the light kick would connect. I could be wrong though.

    • @TheDarc3k
      @TheDarc3k 8 лет назад

      I don't know if it is useful, but it is also possible to input the CA and hold down the punch button, so when you release it after a light kick the CA will come out.

    • @pingon55555
      @pingon55555 8 лет назад +1

      I just tried this on training and when you set counter to ON you just input the foward 1/4 circle > lk > 1/4 circle > lp and it comes out. The 1st 1/4 circle and lk have to be done almost at the same time. pretty sick stuff

      It was Genius it didn’t use that the whole game so he never thought to look for that last confirm

    I've never so much enjoyed watching SFV as I have right now. Tokido and Momochi have such fluid offensive zoning and godly quick adaptation, you just can't tell who'll win because of how dynamic they are!

    Tokido now the 3rd player with double premier wins in Season 1 SFV:
    1. Infiltration (Final Round, NorCal Regionals, and of course Evolution)
    2. Gamerbee (Japan Cup, EGX)
    3. Tokido (CEO, SEAM)
    Congrats. Always my favorite player to watch.

      I think in the long term Tokido will become a better player than infil. Tokido has improved so much since evo. Infil is still playing his same old style running and attacking which many players exposed him already. Tokido and Momochi is playing way out of everyone's league right now since evo.
