This is probably one of the best videos I've seen for making box cushion coverings. Thorough, to the point, easy to understand, and well-constructed. Thank you!
Absolutely brilliant instructions, bought fabric at lunch time and now at tea time sitting out enjoying the sun sat on my bench complete with new bench cushion. Really easy to follow. 🪡🧵🫶
I am using sew on velcro so will sew on before I sew the backs to the front. I was dealing with a cushion that was 72 inches by 20 by 3 so I used my rulers more than what you demonstrate. Don't have a countertop or hard surface big enough for that cushion. Thanks so much. Very helpful.
This was the best tutorial for me. Thank you, 😊 there are many on you tube and I am sure they are helpful as well, but this one was right to they point. Not a bunch of discussion and confusion or unnecessary information.
This was such a great video and made making a bench cushion super easy! All of the other videos about making a bench cushion we're much more difficult. My cushion turned out great! Thanks so much. I didn't really even need to use velcro. I overlapped the backing about 1 1/2 inches and it stays closed. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you so so much for this. I can now tackle recovering my balcony furniture seat cushions confidently, since I loathe sewing zips. Great video, thank you. :-)
This is the best video I’ve seen! Can’t wait to get mine done. I was looking for an easy sewing tutorial that I could do with my more beginner skilset, and all of the “quick and easy” included a zipper among other techniques, which did not look easy to me.
Sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Grey Hugh Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Thank you! And I bought it at Wayfair, looks like they still sell it: www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/red-barrel-studio-hall-tree-with-shoe-storage-w005270836.html
What do you recommend if I want to use sew on velcro down the back rather than iron-on velcro tape? This cushion will be in a baby's room and get lots of use, so I want it to be sturdy for repeated washings. Should it be sewn instead of ironed as the last step, or sewn before the backs are sewn to the front?
hello very nice lady merry Christmas very beautiful video please kindly film how to thread and operate the sewing machine please kindly let me know OK?thank you very much and have a beautiful day 😊

Glad it helped you out! Good idea on skipping the Velcro. I can see where that would work with a bigger overlap.

Thanks! Yes I thought the same thing when I started out trying to figure out an easy way to do my cushions! I didn't want to deal with a zipper.

You have to assemble it but I don’t recall it being that hard, I did it without my hubby though I did use a hand drill instead of their little tool.
Thank you for the information!
