Thanks for this video….I needed to cover two pieces of foam we sleep on in the camper and until I found your video, I thought it was going to be extremely difficult….your simple corners and easy way to do the opening are all I needed for camper foam coverings. The most difficult thing was putting the long foams in and out of the fabric casing several times as I tested for sizing.

I was confused by the corners at the front until I saw the finished project. I like that. I would have done box corners but I like the look of yours too.
I recently re-covered an outdoor, footstool cushion cover and the piping was a bear (it ended up being slightly puckered in two corners but oh well... its just our foot stool). I sew just good enough to get by. :-)
The Velcro strips probably work great for you since this is the second time for you making a cushion cover but in case they don't, I read about the strongest means of attaching a sewn object when I was making dog collars and leashes. They said to sew around the perimeter (in your case the perimeter of the Velcro), when you get back to the starting corner sew to the opposite corner (the one diagonally across from it), sew back down one side, then from that corner sew to the opposite, diagonal corner... making a box/rectangle with an X in the center. It holds if a dog pulls on a leash so it should stand up to pulling on it when you remove the cushion for washing.
Thanks for sharing. I have fabric to re-do the lining in a pocketbook that I like but I've been putting it off. Maybe I'll go do that today. :-)
