3-Cups of Sugar
4-Cups of White Lily All Purpose Flour
6-Large Eggs

This cake looks delicious and I can’t wait to make this! To everyone asking about the lack of baking powder in the recipe - there is no need to add it because she incorporates a lot of air into the cake by having a very long (7 minute) creaming period after adding the sugar to the butter.

I love pound cake with a soft middle and a crunchy outside. I have that same bunt pan. I used it for the first time this Sunday and loved it.

Hey Teresa! I made this cake yesterday and boy did it turn out amazing! Also I used White Lilly AP Flour it is AMAZING SO SOFT , ALSO I SIFTED IT FIRST THEN MEASURED THE 4 CUPS OF FLOUR....
I am amazed at how it rose so well without baking powder!

Matter of fact I took your advice on baking this cake at 325 for an hour and 10 minutes it was beautiful and so moist I made it last night for my church luncheon today it didn’t last a hour know that I appreciate your baking skills 🤗💕💕💕💕💕

Reminds me of how my grandmother use to take her time baking a pound cake, only she used a fork to blend all the ingredients. She had no electric mixer. Therefore it took her hours to stir. This was back in the 1960's. She also used 4 sticks of butter. I will try this recipe for the upcoming holidays. Thanks for the inspiration. I will also add pure lemon extract along with pure vanilla and pure Almond extract. Thanks agaun.😇

My Nana did the same thing, and we would sit out on the porch and when you take that first bite of that pound cake your eyes would just water. In the summer we would sit out on the porch and eat the pound cake. In the winter we would sit in front of the fireplace and eat it and if you have not had a pound cake made in a wooden stove you have missed a TREAT 💕💖🤭😂 THOSE WERE GOOD OLD TIMES HERE IN MISSISSIPPI

As I was watching this content and seen the extracts I said oh ima have to try her recipe but if it was my own it’s just something about that lemon extract added that takes it to a whole new level! I’ve never made pound cake before but I combine lemon and vanilla for other stuff I make and MAN! lol so yeah I’ll be doing it both ways just to see which one I like most

I love that you dont preheat your oven. By turning it on when you do it’s almost like a cold oven cake which gives a Lovely crunchy crust
