Molasses does not contain only 5% sugar, it is way higher, must be typo on the script you guys are reading...Sucrose, Fructose, Glucose are the typical "sugars" in it, average Black Strap Molasses has around 40-45% fermentable sugars (ideally 50-55%)

This video was made 9 months ago and you did not have Ron Santiago 500 ( about 5000 dollars there ? 🤗 ) like the video shows Rums are made out of the fermentation of the melassas etc and if there’s a place in this entire world that this is taken very seriously is Cuba where Rum and Cigars are simply “different” no additives added ( or very very very little ) I mean is just a class apart.
