As a long Time resident I remember when they built that and the boardwalk. Plus ask any resident and at one point we have worked there at one time or another. You like the boats come back after thanksgiving for the parade of lights cruises.
@@caileyandjason it’s a whole Christmas event. They put lights on the boardwalk and even have a fire breathing dragon! The kids get to talk to Santa and hear their names called out. Dress warm, it will be pretty cold!

When I was a young girl, before Haggedon bought the lake property the área w/ golf pool, Island, pro Shop was all public land where would stop to swim in the lake, very very little public áreas now :(

Lived there for a year 92-93. Was half that size. Winter was brutal but it's the most pristine area I have been, especially further North up to Sandpoint and Priest Lake.

What a fantastic video! What month were you guys there was it in August 2023? We are visiting August 2024 going to check out the area for a possible move in 2025. Summers are beautiful but very short. We hear the winters are long and grey which has us a little concerned. We are in Colorado and have so much Sunshine during the winter and summer so we're not sure about CDA just yet. It's absolutely beautiful in the summer. Thanks for putting together a great video.

I live in CDA, Rodgers burgers is really great. It's my favorite. And the cider house is really fun and great ciders and the food is good too. Moon time is good to though. The singers you saw had a fire pizza box and that's an amazing pizza place to try. Try the scotch eggs at crown and thistle if you have a chance next time The Blue shell is a fun beer and wine place that has old school arcade games and board games to play.
Loved the VLOG again guys! One question, how did you find this place and how easy is it to drive from say Seattle? I had to look it up on a map as I'd never heard of it and it seems to be in the middle of nowhere.,
Hey Mark! We found this place when planning the trip and thought it looked to be worth a stop, it didn’t disappoint! It’d take about 5 hours from Seattle to Coeur D’Alene but we stopped for a night in Leavenworth along the way because that place was too beautiful not to stop. As for how easy the drive is, it’s one road the whole way (I90) and was one of the most breathtaking drives we had on the trip 🤩

I used to live in Post Falls, Idaho. I have lived in Canada, Florida, North Carolina, Michigan and Alaska. My favorite of all was living in Idaho. The Washington area is gorgeous as well.

Born and raised here. Fishing is great. Bass, Walleye, Trout, and so much more. Sad to see the crime rates and homeless populations rising as more people move up here though.. Our beautiful cities turning into something like Seattle...

It’s so great to see people enjoying CDA. Bunnies, deer and other creatures are normal from day to day in this area. Elk and moose are regulars in some yards!! As locals we never even thought moon time was more than a bar!! Lol now we know!! Love your videos and look forward to seeing the rest of your trip 😊 You were just 20 mins from a casino too 🎉🎉

As usual great video! After seeing Coeur d'Alene on TV last year I told the wife we should take a trip there. It looks fantastic! I have a friend in Eureka, MT, that meets us in Vegas all the time. This is nice that you’re going to places that might not be considered typical tourist sites with the larger font on the map. Plenty of great places along the way. This might be kind of a nerdy suggestion, but is there some kind of strap for your phone? When I saw you videoing at the back of the boat, I was thinking what if the boat hit a wake and caused you to lose your phone? The lake did look pretty calm and I haven’t been on a boat in a while, so it may not have felt risky. I probably watch too many People Failing videos. Anyway, on to the next. The mom meeting!

If my phone was lost I would still have all of the footage which is backed up onto iCloud. Just wait until Yellowstone, I get some really risky videos on the edge of a cliff. I also have insurance on the phone so could easily just grab another if I lost it.

Same. I was all over Tubb's Hill in the late 60s/early 70s. CDA was a great place to be a kid back then.
I was lucky enough to go over to Gozzer Ranch for dinner last year. Coeur D'Alene is a lovely part of the world.

As usual great video! After seeing Coeur d'Alene on TV last year I told the wife we should take a trip there. It looks fantastic! I have a friend in Eureka, MT, that meets us in Vegas all the time. But I have to say in the immortal words of Inspector Harry Callahan, " Nobody! I mean Nobody! Puts ketchup on a hot dog! 😅😅😅😅😅

Beautiful video guys. I honestly never realized that Idaho is that nice. Living in NYC, Idaho is not a vacation destination for us, since there is no need to visit that place. But if you live on the West Coast, and are willing to drive, it's pretty cool. I will have to just enjoy it vicariously through you guys. Thanks!!

“There’s like 8 bunnies now!” I hear they do multiply quickly. Al least you got to pet the big white fluff ball, Cailey. This is nice that you’re going to places that might not be considered typical tourist sites with the larger font on the map. Plenty of great places along the way. This might be kind of a nerdy suggestion, but is there some kind of strap for your phone? When I saw you videoing at the back of the boat, I was thinking what if the boat hit a wake and caused you to lose your phone? The lake did look pretty calm and I haven’t been on a boat in a while, so it may not have felt risky. I probably watch too many People Failing videos. Anyway, on to the next. The mom meeting!

If my phone was lost I would still have all of the footage which is backed up onto iCloud. Just wait until Yellowstone, I get some really risky videos on the edge of a cliff. I also have insurance on the phone so could easily just grab another if I lost it.
