So many great players. I'm just a little above average, I think. Not a Shawn or Malmsteen. I think I can outplay Clapton, though. :) Or Gary Richrath. Oh, especially Kirk Hammet. hahaha well, Kirk is okay but not great at all. Gary Moore, Holdsworth, Gambale, Joe Pass, Tommy Emmanuel.... I'd say those guys are great. For his time, Hendrix was great. Beck was pretty great but more in an odd creative, musical way. Not technical so much, imo. Eddie was great for the time/genre. Guthrie Govan is pretty amazing. Eric Johnson is great. I'd say Brian May is great in a certain way. But for technique and musical knowledge, Holdsworth and Gambale are insane. Too many to even hear in a lifetime, I think.

:29 ah, solves the problem of syncing to the backing track. Just do the intro solo as a stand-alone then do another filming with click track and backing. that's probably the best idea to keep from having a timing weirdness in there.
Took me around 8-9 years to get around this skill level & technique. Still not perfect, but can play the full song now. Technique is going to be the bottleneck for this song😂 you can already dream every note before you can get it up to speed.

I'm using a Dimarzio HS-2 permanently split into single coil mode! Still use it now in the bridge position
