It's a rarity that you actually see this covered correctly. This on the other hand is an exception to the rule, you hit every note, correct. From one guitarist to another, well done on getting it in 1 take. Honestly, dude you hammered it, even the 12 - 14 - 12 slide after the A chord (at 0:57) was correct each time and you didn't go slide too far. I can appreciate how many years it takes to get this right. I always came to the conclusion, even as a guitarist, that Eric's hand radius (being gargantuanly large) was the reason as to why he could hit it, you certainly proved otherwise.👏
Definitely nailed it but that 14-12-14 slide (not 12-14-12) is far from the hardest part to nail of this cover. Maybe its just me but I can nail that slide no problem every time and I can't play this as cleanly as this guy. The size of your hands has nothing to do with the ability to slide a single finger between 2 frets on the same string. The large majority of the covers of this song on youtube have people playing that part pretty flawlessly with little effort. IMO the hardest part of this song is getting the note spacing and timing on the intro to be smooth and buttery like EJ.
This is indefinitely, unequivocally, the BEST cover of this song ever uploaded to RUclips. Every other cover I’ve seen they play something wrong or easier than how eric does it. Not you though. Incredible

Very impressive how you did the intro descending pentatonic by running down from the 4th to 1st positions. Definitely the more difficult way to play it. Very nice soaring vibrato on those bends as well. Very solid technique and mechanics.

Pretty much the first result on the Ultimate Guitar website and Mr. Tabs channel on RUclips come really close to the original so those are the best directions I can give you. (Mr. Tabs is a godsend btw definitely check him out if you haven't:)
