I met him before he got on and told him my favorite track was "Moment of Truth"....he signed my CD and said he loved the track also. Then, later that night he performed "Mass Appeal" at a club in L.A. called, Florentine Gardens (old hot spot in Hollywood). Most people do not put Guru in their top five in terms of MC's, but truth be told, FOR ME, he's number one. Not because of the content of his lyrics, but because of his delivery.....his cadence....his pitch. I always understood his rhymes and he reminded me of Jazz artists.
