      He's on my top 3. Moment Of Truth was full of jewels that I still live by today! I never thought of GURU being an underrated MC until I started participating in discussions. It's mad crazy knowing a lot of people that don't name him on their top 5 or at least top 10. Facts!

      The craziest part about it is that the Represent that ended up on Illmatic was technically a remix! Premo made the original, Nas laced the track but then when he heard what Large Pro and Q-Tip had done, he wanted to rework it. It took some convincing from Nas but eventually it was redone and the end result is the track that ended up on Illmatic.

    Premier is a hip hip wizard! He really was productive. There were other amazing producers during that time, like Lord Finesse, Large Professor, Diamond, and Showbiz to name a few, but Premier was a step ahead. Take it Personal was my favorite beat he ever made.
