I also love how it makes her look like an elegant fantasy bird woman. Hunter Schafer's dress was really interesting. Not my personal vibe but I really like how sculpted yet draped the denim looks and that bateau neckline was really pretty. Shelia Atim's dress is such a cool modern New Look style. That skirt!!! It's a perfect bell that hits her proportions perfectly! I don't usually love full paillette looks but this one is a stunner.

In general, pregnancy is well known for making people feel frumpy, ugly, shapeless and unattractive, and the shapelessness and unflattering design of most maternity wear is definitely part of that. Comfortable, but it doesn't make you feel pretty or sexy usually. I don't think looking or feeling hot should be a priority if you're pregnant, fuck no. Comment on the black bands on Daisy Edgar Jones's dress. I agree that they don't work and are a bit odd, but I suspect that it is a reference to Georgian stays. Some georgian stays had extra long shoulder straps that would come down and wrap around the stays, so you could easily adjust the shoulders without the need of ribbons. The boning pattern on the dress bodice looks similar to Georgian boning patterns so I can see where they go the idea for the wrap around straps for.
The colour suits her very nice tho and off the red carpet she wore glasses what made it look a little better, I really got bored of seeing her in the same style of looks

I like that Rihanna is showing her belly so much and consistently, to me it reflects that she understood well that these things pass so quickly in life that you better take advantage. Zendayas look is so smart, I was already thinking her red carpet look was her expression of the event being a fancy business meeting, whereas the aftershow was more of a fancy business party.

In general, pregnancy is well known for making people feel frumpy, ugly, shapeless and unattractive, and the shapelessness and unflattering design of most maternity wear is definitely part of that. Comfortable, but it doesn't make you feel pretty or sexy usually.
I don't think looking or feeling hot should be a priority if you're pregnant, fuck no. But it's very easy to feel like you've got to hide your body now because you're all fat and lumpy and ew, and I like that Rihanna is loud and proud about the bump

Comment on the black bands on Daisy Edgar Jones's dress. I agree that they don't work and are a bit odd, but I suspect that it is a reference to Georgian stays. Some georgian stays had extra long shoulder straps that would come down and wrap around the stays, so you could easily adjust the shoulders without the need of ribbons. The boning pattern on the dress bodice looks similar to Georgian boning patterns so I can see where they go the idea for the wrap around straps for.
