Oh Miss Peta I absolutely loved how you did the fish in Daydreams. He turned out simply stunning. I am definitely looking for more of your completed videos. You are amazing. I could never achieve your level. But I'm happy just having fun coloring! And you have inspired me to invest in a set of Faber Castells along with my Prismas. I can't wait to order them

Your pictures turned out awesome! I love the idea of the animals in the same color as the background and will try to do the same. (I'm still a beginner.) The tutorials of using markers and pencils were stunning too. I can learn a lot from you, so thank you for all your work.

Thank you. :) My German teacher would be proud. Also it is a great idea incorporating your back ground colours into your foreground picture as it will help bind the picture together and appear more natural.

Beautiful work as usual Peta, I’m going to take this opportunity to thank you for your tutorials in colouring. I like many others, (I’m sure) have learnt so much from you over the past months and year. When I started colouring, I’m sad to say, was just a little better than a novice at colouring.
Now I have so much more confidence in what I attempt, even finishing a piece or two!! Anyways enough of my ramblings, once again thanks for your time and effort put into these tutorials. It is much appreciated by me. Helen Bermingham, Sydney.

Hi Peta! I always love watching you flip through your colored pages. They are so inspiring to see. My favorite book of yours to watch is The Magical City by Lizzie Mary Cullen. I would love to see a completed flip through from start to finish of that book. Or just an updated flip through from start to finish. You have inspired me to buy her books. The marbeling effect from the Lara’s looks nice
thank you. i was annoyed when it started to turn out that way but now I quite like it. i think it may have something to do with the amount of white in the pencil core not mixed completely with the purple.

Hi Peta, do you normally prefer to do backgrounds before the actual characters in the picture?
Not always. I usually like to do backgrounds first as it gives me a visual clue to how dark and dense to add the colours but I sometimes leave it to last.
Can't wait if one day we can have a video of complete The Magical City flip through.. Love all your colouring pages

What brand are the watercolor markers you used on the leopard?
I used Tombow markers because i really like their big brush shaped tips and i also used faber castell connector pens for some of the details.

Hi Peta, I'm sorry I didn't read all the comments so I hope you didn't answer this question already but how do you keep your pages from wrinkling when you use watercolors on the background? The fish you did was amazing and I would love to try it.
Hi SR. It really depends on the paper. Some handle water better then others. I usually try to limit the amount of water although this can make trying to get smooth results pretty much impossible... aim for texture unless you are only colouring a small space. Also you can try ironing the page after you finished but do not do this if you've used a wax based mediums or acrylic paints as these will melt.
I absolutely adore your work only hope I can even do a eighth a job as you .

Enchanted forest was the first coloring book I got a few years ago, in there you can definitely see which pictures I did first and which ones later. I kinda ruined the book a little, by trying almost every art supplies, so that makes me kinda sad, cause I feel like I haven’t taken care of it enough,
I got the "world of flowers" book for christmas and the paper is not white. Is the papir in your book white?? or is it just a yellow ish kind of color ? :) Great video
It's the US version. It's not as white as Lost Ocean but it isn't yellowish either. Maybe a touch beige-ish.

Hi, firstly I LOVE ur videos! Ur so easy to listen to and you present urself in such a relatable way, that it just puts me at ease with my nerves, in relation to colouring 💗. Secondly, do you put any kind of "sealant" on ur finished pages to prevent the pencil work from smudging? Reason being, all my books have 2-3 sheets of paper towel between EVERY finished page - resulting in a chunky book hsha- and I noticed that you don't need to? Thanks
