Life on the farm and the quirks of MOTHER NATURE
I have watched you for years... My wife got diagnosed AML leukemia 12/3/2020, shortly after Nicole, I believe. She went a different route and had the bone marrow transplant last March. Everything was good until her 2 week check up in January. She relapsed and it was awful, all the different chemo's would not kill it, plus infections. She decided to come home 4/23/2022 and hospice came in, I thought they were going to be more help, but at the end I'm happy she was home with her dogs. You are an amazing person at your young age to help not only me 42 years old, but older people how to move on from losing a loved one. My wife passed 5/15/2022 and sometimes just have a hard time, so I turn on my computer and watch your videos to cheer me up. I come from a farming life here in Missouri.... Take care my friend.

I find it disgusting that The Big Swede is getting hateful comments. None of you have EVER seemed like braggarts, despite the obvious size and success of your farm. You all seem like genuine, down-to-earth people who show the real-life pros and cons of a large family farming operation. Don't let the negative viewers bother you. If people understood farming, they would know that none of you are bragging about the long hours, etc. About 20 years ago, I helped run equipment during a wet spring for a family farm on a much smaller scale, and I remember vividly the desperation to get crops in the ground before it was too late to plant. They added extra lights to the tractors, because they had to work late into the night like you all have to do, and it was a race against Mother Nature to finish while the ground was dry enough. Wish you all the best.
I've never taken any of your content as bragging or dismissive of that of others in the business. It's ONE VIEW of ONE PLACE and what's involved, and it's highly educational for everyone to see what's going on day-to-day... None of you come across as braggadocios at all. And for anyone out there thinking they're being minimized for your own efforts, just know IT AIN'T SO... we respect all your best efforts and feel for the challenges you take on...
Right it's crazy that people would say that they are bragging about their long hours and that they're working so hard and so much when in reality they're just showing how hard Farmers across the world have it. Any farmer that takes offense to it is probably a half-assed lazy farmer

Chet, first of all, haters are going to hate, namely because they're jealous that you're showing your progress. Let them hate, if they don't like it, they don't have to watch and they can find another channel to watch, it's that simple. Chet, this spring has been a really weird one weather wise. All you can do is prepare for the worst and pray for the best.

I am pretty sure the haters have no clue how it is to work like that. They will hate because they don't know to how to work hard. Funny story when I first came across this channel. I grew up on a farm in Sweden, but moved to Michigan about 17 years ago. I have been called the big Swede since I moved here... Keep up the good work.

Keep doing what you are doing Larson Farms. The detractors and those with negative comments are simply manifesting their own frustrations at you as humans are often to do. Just ignore them. The weather struggle bus has definitely settled in your area for now anyway. But there were buildings and structures I’m sure you were considering tearing down or upgrading anyway. The series of storms has just been the catalyst to get it done. No one hurt is the main thing. Mother Nature housecleaning!

Why do all you tubers give any attention to all the haters and people that want to complain about everything instead of ignoring them and dwelling on the positive compliments, I feel safe in saying there are a fraction of negative comments compared to all the great comments of people that love what you do and your farming family! I am sorry to hear that you guys got another nasty storm, Mother nature has not been nice to anyone . Also sorry to hear about people hating on you guys. Just remember you have 1000's of subscribers who love you guys and care about you guys and many who enjoy the content. In your videos i have not seen any of you guys bragging about anything and you guys are simply just showing us the life you live and that you guys have had to work some long days and long nights. I hope you guys can get a break to finish planting and when all that is done you guys need a small vacation to have fun , relax, enjoy and to get things off your minds. I know thats not an easy thing to do for farmers.I can't even begin the stress you guy are under trying to get planting done and all the damage to the farm. @@hulmestanner True farmers aren't toxic. TRUE farmers respect the legacy that's been given to them over the years and respect that legacy. TRUE farmers are always willing to drop everything to go and help a neighbor in need. The Larsons are true farmers and I sincerely believe that most of the farmers on here also share those qualities. Farmers are the first people to jump on someone to tell them they are wrong for not doing something their way or cut someone down for having something nicer than them or doing with your own money what you want
@@hulmestanner I've read a lot of those comments that you mention and if you look closely at the number of " mistakes " the posters make in their rants, you can tell they aren't farmers because they know nothing about the industry. We live within 35 miles of a large city and I see the anti-farm fanatics that think we shouldn't raise beef ( but they go to McDonald's everyday), think we shouldn't milk because " it's degrading for the cows ", or think we shouldn't use chemicals or GMO's to increase production but gripe whenever their favorite food is out of stock at the store. I used to just laugh off their blind stupidity, but as I'm approaching my late 20's , I find myself actually calling them out for the morons they are.
