Where do you buy your discs from? I hate receiving discs that have banged up sleeves and cases. All of yours look pristine. Whats the best place to purchase from?
'In the line of fire' is probably the sharpest release this year. In terms of picture it wipes the floor with every release ive seen. Ive not seen django though, will have to check that out.
Great choices, I own them all. Too many amazing releases this year, almost impossible to narrow it down to only ten. Criterion's first 4K offerings -- including MULHOLLAND DRIVE are exceptional. There is a shockingly good import for the Schwarzenegger film THE RUNNING MAN available from Germany. But if I could only choose one, MY FAIR LADY was clearly the most impressive looking 4K for 2021 -- and arguably the very best looking 4K disc to have been released to date. Hard to go wrong with any of these.
Definitely have to say Karate Kid part 2 was visually stunning, I knew the color would look great from the location they were in, the color popping from all the outfits and final fight at the Obon Dance, no mystery why it was such an anticipated 4K release from Sony Pictures
Love the list. Thank for helping a 4k collector like me pick up new movies that released in 2021. Are you planning to do a list of movies to avoid that came out in 2021? Just to help out people from wasting money on movies that should not be picked up. Thanks again
When are you doing Hard Target? I heard there was problem with the 5.1 sound on the 4k disc, but they have replacement program for the disc, so I hope you will give that film a review.
Have to say, _Speed_ did look truly exceptional. It's a fantastic release and they even had the decency to remaster the included 1080p disc. I bought but haven't yet watched _Willy Wonka_ or _Ten Commandments_ (the 4K discs, that is), so I'm pretty stoked to see them soon!
Idk if you checked it out but “I Spit on your Grave” got released on 4K, I watched it a bit ago and it was quite impressive the transfer on it, especially for being such a lower budget movie from 1978
Interesting comment on No Time to Die - In one of your screenshots, I was thinking "the film exposure noise looks nice." Cool list, hope you have a great Christmas with your fam.
A minor reminder about Imax scope / ratio: you're not getting less imagery left and right - the imagery is still there - it's not cropped off. But, you definitely get more imagery top and bottom, thus get the left/right bars, but nothing's lost.
Even if there is more picture at top and bottom, it looks so bad. In this days to bring this kind of movie in 4:3 Ration is stupid. There should be a second Version with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Thought The Suicide Squad might be on here. I haven't got an Amtos set up but I'm pretty sure it's just DTS master and that coupled with the great transfer was very good
Thanks Jeff for helping me continue to my 4k physical catalog. Question how do you acquire new releases early, like the latest bond movie that doesn't come out until Tues. Is there a pre-order trick of something?

Have you seen the Jumanji 3 movie uhd set? Just curious if it's worth buying.
I'm new to 4k collecting and your channel is awesome.
I feel My Fair Lady deserves much more than an Honorable Mention. Easily top 5 imo or even nr 1.
The Ten Commandments was mentioned which made me think of The Wizard of Oz, because of them both being great Hollywood classics. Is the latter on 4k?
dude i am happy to see you finally growing. hands down i have taken your reviews to heart on alot of releases. really trust your opinion
All? Am jealous.
But I agree on My Fair Lady.
Great reviews with alot of insight. Keep these videos coming
Wonder what you think of 4k speed racer
Definitely have to say Karate Kid part 2 was visually stunning, I knew the color would look great from the location they were in, the color popping from all the outfits and final fight at the Obon Dance, no mystery why it was such an anticipated 4K release from Sony Pictures
I couldn't agree with you more 1 and 3 were just ok but part 2 was amazing and will be on my top 10 list.
I'm gonna have to get Taxi Driver, anytime anywhere 🤙🏻
My 4 favorites
1. Saving Private Ryan
2. The Shinning
3. Halloween 4
4. Back Hawk Down
All crystal clear. Worth buying
Hi. Great channel. Do you have a top ten by genre? Top ten action, top ten thriller, horror etc...?
Love the list. Thank for helping a 4k collector like me pick up new movies that released in 2021. Are you planning to do a list of movies to avoid that came out in 2021? Just to help out people from wasting money on movies that should not be picked up. Thanks again
You should definitely check In the Line of Fire on 4K. It’s a Sony release and I think it could’ve made its way to your list.
Love your stuff. Did you do a review of the Final Countdown??
I did! It’s in a video with a few reviews.
Love your バックトゥーザフォーチャー hoodie✨
What are your all time 4K discs
When are you doing Hard Target? I heard there was problem with the 5.1 sound on the 4k disc, but they have replacement program for the disc, so I hope you will give that film a review.
Any news on the movie HEAT to 4k ?
Have to say, _Speed_ did look truly exceptional. It's a fantastic release and they even had the decency to remaster the included 1080p disc. I bought but haven't yet watched _Willy Wonka_ or _Ten Commandments_ (the 4K discs, that is), so I'm pretty stoked to see them soon!
Great video! A tad bit disappointed The Suicide Squad didn’t make the cut but other than that I absolutely agree with this list
Hey man, great vid!! Where do you buy most of your new movies from?
New subscriber- your channel is epic!
Love these year end videos. Very helpful during Christmas time.
Great list. I’d add The Thing and The Green Knight to it as well.
I'm a snyder fan boy, so was over the moon to see it in the list. Would love to see you top lists per genre?
Happy holidays 🎅❄⛄🎄
Congrats to you & your family!
A great year for all of you.
Appreciate all the info.
All the best in 2022!!
Content like this is why I continue to recommend your channel to friends as the best source for 4K news. Awesome stuff, man.
Wish they would release 4k imax discs, not just streaming
Very good list ..I have all but two.........Very good video..Thank you....
The servant 4k is an amazing transfer
A minor reminder about Imax scope / ratio: you're not getting less imagery left and right - the imagery is still there - it's not cropped off. But, you definitely get more imagery top and bottom, thus get the left/right bars, but nothing's lost.
That's the main confusion for most people.
Even if there is more picture at top and bottom, it looks so bad. In this days to bring this kind of movie in 4:3 Ration is stupid. There should be a second Version with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Thought The Suicide Squad might be on here. I haven't got an Amtos set up but I'm pretty sure it's just DTS master and that coupled with the great transfer was very good
This is a very helpful video for us Physical media collectors.
Did you get the Dawn of the Dead, Demons or Santa Sangre sets? I can’t find your reviews on them 😅
Jeff awesome video
It was posted 15 seconds ago lol you couldn’t have watched it yet
@@JeffRauseo I know. But you never let me down.
Great list of 4K movies Jeff, amazing.
Brilliant list mate. It's been a great year for the 4K format. All the best for the holidays for you and your family :)
Are you planning to do a review video for The Last Duel 4k?
How do you feel about the Game of Thrones Complete 4K collection? Maybe do a review on it? I know that is a very anticipated disc set.
Hi Jeff,
Was wondering do you own The Running Man on 4K which is a German import, if so maybe do a review on it, I want to purchase it.
I hope for 2022 that the physical media copy of Dune is done with great care! Looking forward to that one!
Thanks Jeff for helping me continue to my 4k physical catalog. Question how do you acquire new releases early, like the latest bond movie that doesn't come out until Tues. Is there a pre-order trick of something?
I work with the studios to review them ahead of release for you all! It’s not always a guarantee I get one and I still buy plenty of movies, but I do tend to get a good amount.
Hi Jeff/Geoff (?), would love if you did a video on 4K tv picture settings as I’m never quite sure what my setup should be. I know it’s subjective but chatting through different setups for different preferences would be really helpful.
Hi mate, this channel has some good advice, just work your way through some of the videos Watch "HDTVTest" on RUclips
ruclips.net/user/hdtvtest I took his information and another channel information to work my settings correct.

@@jb7753 a huge help, thanks very much. Top man!
@@kevinhunter2985 no worries mate. If you have an apple tv this is a real one that I came across only a few days ago and WOW Watch "The best AppleTV 4K Settings." on RUclips

I own the Panasonic, UB 9000 their top of the line Blu-ray 4K DVD player! Can you tell me what do you think about movies recorded in THX??
What about Hard Target. Isn't it still slated to come out this year.
Thanks!
