- Good Evening Everyone!!! Here is a fun video of Fishing at Antero Reservoir in Hartsel, Colorado!!! This was my first open water trip here for 2024!!! The fishing was average. An older gentleman told me about a winter fish kill when I was there. He stated that the lake had one, but it was no different from the other years.
The wild life is so fun to watch there. The birds are so beautiful. The pelicans look so majestic as they fly by you. The flapping sound of their wings are pretty cool to hear. An occasional chipmunk or ground squirrel would come beg for food.
I watched them put the boat ramp together on the North Side. It was pretty cool to see. There were so much activity this day. I caught a few trout and kept one to make Coconut Trout. My Big Brother kept two to smoke.
I enjoyed the Coconut Trout. It is quite simple to make. The hardest part is just slicing up the vegetables. The coconut and pineapple made you feel like you were on a tropical adventure!!! I do recommend that you try this recipe. All the ingredients are easy and inexpensive to get!!! Try it!!!
All in all it was a fun day well spent with my Big Brother!!! Hanging out with him is always awesome!!! Life is always beautiful!!! Let’s make the World a better place, one Fish at a time!!! Keep on Fishing!!!

Love your videos of Antero reservoir, roadtripping there from North Dakota in a couple weeks. What should I use when fishing the reservoir? Also love your videos of beaver reservoir near ward, planning on stopping there too.
Thank you so much!!! I normally have success with Cheese Power Bait on the North Shore. If you are going to fish Beaver Reservoir, there are parts that are public and parts that are private. Just be aware of that!!! Thank you so much for all your support!!! Keep on Fishing!!!

And which lures or baits do you use??
I like Eleven Mile the most for trout. I enjoy fishing it in the evening or at night. Cheese PowerBait Bait works for me. I like throwing a gold Kastmaster there in the morning. Black and Pink Tasmania Devils work well too.
