"the real world is a lie and your nightmares are real" is such a good line.
I love this two parter so much. The foreshadowing of Donna's fate, the tragedy and beauty of River, the world inside of CAL's mind, and the unbeatable Vasta Narada. Brilliant.
Alex Kingston (who plays River Song) is SUCH an amazing actress -- her facial expressions show how much she knows and loves the Doctor ... incredible when you learn that when she acted in this episode she (and everyone else) had no idea of the depth of her story with the Doctor, or even what the story was at all. She conveyed the depth of their connection so well in this episode.
I love how River grabs the Doctor's hand before running down the corridor. It's such a nice touch.
"Hey, who turned out the light?" 💀
Donna Noble has left the Library. Donna Noble has been saved.
Such a phenomenal episode! I was mesmerized and left in tears by the end of the story. By the end of S5, River has become my favorite character.
One of Moffat 's best creations! ❤️🎃
Finally the “Red Setting” and dampers on the 14th doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver.
This is still one of my fav episodes along with the first Weeping Angels episode and still love the Silence episodes....all three are so freaking creative.
The one that first introduced Alex Kingston to the Doctor Who universe as River Song.
My favorite part of the scene is 2 to 3 minutes in when river recognizes Donna’s name.
Easily top 2 scariest Doctor Who villains alongside the Weeping Angels. Fantastic design.
Y’all published this while I was watching this exact episode. I’m starting to think this channel knows more about time travel than it’s letting on…
Doctor who Forever!
David Tennant The Tenth and Fourteenth Doctor is My Favourite Doctor in Doctor Who 👍

What's brilliant is these two ladies acting intensity together!
Biggest problem with being a time traveller....meet the Missus, before you even loved and married her, so you don't know who she is. So sad for her and a mystery for you.
Another one of my favorites..
